Guys, note that it IS NOT flyinh HDGs on the SID, STARS... They are TRACKS, yous hould apply correction to wind and everything in order to follow it. LNAV will correct itself but till you seat on a CRJ or B737 make sure what you are flying is a TRACK and not a HDG. For the rest is really slow but real good information. regards!
In most cases, the runway number is the course divided by 10 rounded to the nearest whole number (.5 rounds to the nearest even number). If you have two parallel runways at 195deg, they would be 20L and 20R; three parallel runways at 195deg would be 20L, 20C and 20R.
Yes, it creates a little bit confision. But when doing a breafing or reading the chart the minimums ( of Ceiling) is read in Feets while when talking about Horizontal Visibility is read in Meters, the best example for this it's a METAR, as you can see, the HV is given in meters, and the ceiling or cloud coverage it's given in Feets.

Oscar Jimenez Pedrosa i used a x2 on the playback speed
What does the R350 means in category A CAT 2 ILS approach for runway 02
It's a speed called Vat (speed at treshold) and you can calculate it as Stall speed of your aircraft at MTOW multiplied by 1.3 :)
ATIS stands for Automaric terminal information service ;-) for future
hi , at 1:18 he explains on runway 20 , with the course of 195 ( can anyone explain why there's a 5 degree deviation ? many thanks !!!

lcmortensen 4 parallel runways? Or there isn't such case?
Thanks a lot Mr. Instructor Drulis.
You can find charts on the internet and print them.
Is Ceiling restrictive for a Takeoff or only RVR values?
In chart 10-9X we have values in both Meters (Horizontal visibility) and Feet for minimums for approaches.. Does it not create confusions ??

Explained properly indeed 👍

How do I know which category (A, B, C, D) I have to choose for the minimums?

great lesson!
Thank you for the great tutorial !
люблю наш акцент, человек говорит - все понятно с первого раз, не ндо 10 раз переслушивать
Но он не русский....
How we can print these
Thank you for useful video! :)

Nice :D and thanks
so free
Ops, thanks!! Haha
What a complete waste of time! dude, all you are doing is reading a chart verbatim, that's not teaching how to interpret it.
This guy stumbles his words as he speaks, good information but very boring.
