Seeing that Cavs team in the Kobe era is so nostalgic. I remember Ricky Davis missing a shot on his own basket on purpose to try to get a triple double, while Darius Miles talked down on LeBron before they drafted him lol classic.
Kenny you should do a challenge where you test whether controlling your team or not changes how many games your team wins. I have a hunch it does.
It is possible within the game mechanics and it always seems like the team you control is never good, so I think we can assume that it does

The Baseball Challenge:
Win a championship having a 10 man rotation
Everyone plays 24 mins
Players: 1-10:
1-Pitcher: Accurate. Needs a pass accuracy 87 or above.
2-Catcher: Great anticipation. Needs 90 hands or above.
3-1st Base: Tall, often Unathletic, yet Talented. A player 6’9” or above, vertical under 75 and an overall of 83 or above.
4-2nd Base: Usually a worse version of a shortstop. Must be 6-10 overall worse that the shortstop.
6-Shortstop: Athletic and often best player. Captain of the infield. Needs a vertical 85 or better and must be the best player on the team.
5-Third base: Fundamental player. Also strong and somewhat tall (for baseball). Must be 6’5” or above, have a strength 65 or above and free throw 80 or above.
7-Left field: Pure Hitter, not usually a power hitter. A player that has 80 or above close shot and mid range, but a 3 point less that 80.
8-Center field: Fast. Hits for contact. Speed 82 or above and mid range 85 or above.
9-Right field: Often the best hitter overall. Not very good at defense. A forward that has an average 80 or better of Close Shot, Mid Range, and Three point. Must have less than 80 Perimeter and Interior defense.
10-Designated Hitter: This player is a bad defender but good hitter. Usually slow. Like a right fielder on steroids. 2-5 overall higher than right fielder.

3. Runaround Sue: a story that's sad but true. A player who has backstabbed his team by leaving in free agency.
4. The Wanderer: a player who has played for 4+ teams.

I got an idea. So you trade finder every player on your roster. The catch is that you only have one season to win a championship. And within that one season, you can only make 20 trades. If you can't win a championship, you go to a new random team, and do it again.

Adam Silver is retiring and is giving you(Kenny) the reigns to the league. You are the commissioner now, make changes to the league that you think should happen or would be an interesting twist. An example could be changing players tendencies to what YOU think they should be(yes this would take time so help may be needed lol.) Change other league rules that you would like, adjust salary cap, adjust draft settings.
You can also do a rebuild and add an expansion team, have your team as current free agents on 2/3 year deals(play and team option allowed)

I literally wanted to suggest this challenge, but thought, he probably wouldn’t do it. So I never did and here we are. This one is better tho. I was gonna say rebuild a random team from each era, but rebuilding the worst is simpler and more entertaining.
The tough negotiator challenge:
The challenge is to build a championship squad in under 5 seasons where your only means of acquiring players is by constructing manual trades and the draft (I.e no trade finder, no free agents), but there’s a catch. When constructing a trade, you only get one shot at making the deal. If the team you’re trading with doesn’t accept your first trade offer, the trade can’t be made and because of your inconsiderate trade offer, you have to forfeit that years first round pick to that team in return for their second round pick or their worst rostered player. You can make as many trades as you’d like in a season, but once you get a trade denied you’re prohibited from trading for the rest of the season until after the draft.

You should try to win a championship every year in available 2k history. Start in the magic vs bird era, then try to win a championship every year until the modern era
Challenge idea: Take all of the “era” teams and put them in the modern era. So showtime lakers, 80’s Celtics, dynasty bulls, and 01’ lakers. See which era is truly the most dominant in today game. (Extra idea, try putting those teams in other eras and see what the result is.)

Kenny! Day one of asking you to do the Initial Trade Challenge.
Rules: You must trade your players for other players who's first or last name starts with the same letter of the player you are trading's first or last name (for example davis bertans for anthony davis or lamelo ball for lebron james)
No trading back for a player using the same person you traded them for already (so in this case you can't trade anthony davis back for davis bertans... don't quite know why you would do that)
You have 3 seasons to win a championship, fantasy draft, injuries off... good luck!

Kenny, Here's a Challenge:
Take the 84, 96 and 03 draft and make an Ultimate Draft Class. Trade or Switch On Force Trade if you can't (just for the picks only) and take the no 1, 5 and 10 picks to make a BIG 3. Your Team must be the Philadelphia 76ers. (Because they are bottlers with their luck 💀)
Then, do a spin and go to any of the era's (magic, mj, kobe or modern). 7 men rotation, no back-ups for your big three, 2 subs for your other two starters. You can make whatever trade you want but no player should be better than your big 3.
To win this challenge, you need to Ensure 3 things.
1. Make sure you win 4 or more championships before the big three retire.
2. Record 3 70+ win seasons. OR one zero loss playoff run.
3. Between the three, at least two of them must have an MVP and a defensive player of the year. OR All three have 10+ all star apps and 7+ All NBA teams.

Kenny you should do a challenge where you pick one team and you rebuild that team from the magic era to 2022 and try to win more championships than that organization actually did in that time. To make it more difficult you should only be able to trade like 2 picks a year or just make it “realistic”
Era Challenge- Put the all decade teams into their respective eras WITH the other decade teams and see who performs the best in each era, spread the players out among the 32 teams, no dupes. Whichever decade team wins the most eras (most rings) wins the challenge. We reset the league after done with the era so that the players can be reset as well and have the same opportunity and never grow old
