      Deion Sanders was more accomplished in baseball than Bo Jackson was at football. Sanders cracks the top 20 all time in football while being arguably the best ever at his position. Bo can't say the same in baseball.
      Sanders was a better athlete.

    Hall of Fame. Every sport should be proud to carry his name. Bo fuckin Jackson. One of the most Master Athletes we have seen in our lives. So happy I had the opportunity to see him play. Even have a personal connection with him from the left field stands at Kauffman.

    Because someone doesn’t know how to make a short, I’ll have to tell you what happened in this at-bat.
    After the Winston sign, the pitcher throws a ball at Bo’s feet, count is 2-2
    Next pitch Bo was probably a couple feet away from hitting a home run to left field.
    Next pitch Bo hits yet another foul opposite field
    Last pitch, Bo hits a hopper past 1st and the second baseman field it, throws, but Bo was too fast for the throw.
    So, Bo’s at-bat was epic in that he battled a couple pitches, then ran out an infield hit.

      This was epic? It’s a 430ft shot from a player on roids. Now if you’re saying 530ft, ok.
      McGwire was my favorite player all time, but he was juiced, balls and bats were juiced with the fences moved in.
      I think people forget how big the fields were in the old days. 430ft doesn’t seem very epic.

    Bo was an alien, he was beyond human when it came to sports! I was lucky enough to grow up in Memphis in the 70s and 80s and the Memphis Chicks was my team! My grandfather and i never missed a game after he retired, we even went to practice and would watch and the team were really cool and would sign stuff for me. Bo was super nice, met him many times at practice. My grandfather was an architect and had something to do with Tim McCarver Stadium where the Chicks played and somehow he got me a signed game worn Memphis Chicks jersey. Its one of my prized possessions in the world.

    Just for the record he is facing Steve Carlton who was wrapping up his career with the White Sox. Apparently he got an infield single off of Carlton. But it wasn't shown.

    This was his first at bat, and he ended up with an infield single. The first pitcher he ever faced was Steve Carlton and it was the bottom of the 2nd.
