You cant play all PS games day one on PC like others want to suggest, some free to play titles you can, but the big single player games you cant. The main problem with going day one is why would I stay in PlayStations ecosystem and not just buy a powerful gaming PC at that point?
@@bfhandsomeface409 I think the price of a console is still a big point. You get a plug and play machine without spending to much money on a decent gaming PC.
It shouldn't matter if the game is day 1 on pc u can still get the game on your perfered platform im a pc guy sony isn't taking the game away from u by making it avaliable on another platform u can still play it on your perfered system.
And game budgets r also getting so big sony and Microsoft just can't afford to keep games exlusive anymore nintendo is gonna be the outlier unless they start getting careless with their budgets.
Overall I think you're right that game developers would want their game to reach as many people as possible. I also think that hardware makers need reasons for people to purchase their hardware and exclusives are one of those things that can appeal to a player. To me, Xbox trying to reach as many players as possible makes sense, as MS isn't really a hardware company and ideally MS would probably like to stay in the higher profit margin business of software. I think it's interesting when people describe Nintendo as "different"...to me "different" isn't a strategy. However, Nintendo has unique IP that they've also successfully been able to license out to other industries. When thinking of Sony, everyone compares them to Xbox and discusses how they might follow Xbox's lead...however, I think Sony would be much wiser to try and follow Nintendo's as that's been the more successful gaming company and has potentially the better lessons learned....just my thoughts.
idk, seeing xbox publishing all their games on ps5 and switch doesnt look good 4me, looks like they'll follow sega, just being a 3th party publisher (I HOPE THIS DOESNT HAPPEN)
I remember when gaming was so culturally competitive and it was fun. Now days its all just incompetence and trash talk on everything that comes out. I think it all started when they started smuggling in political correctness in games it all just fell apart after that.
Such an amazing quality, you deserved way more recognition
@@tiagosantos-pu8nr thank you very much!

@GTVascoPvP it definitely is an interesting time right now. All of them need more sales in the future for sure to keep so many employees
The console war never even began!😂
