now here is a man that can really show a printer whos in charge
🤣
Removes paper tray. Chucks it on the floor!
Shake your printer!
6 years after this video was added and it still helped me, I dont know which step is the one that worked cause i did like 3 of them all at the same time, but after 4 months of a non existing "paper jam" my Dell C2660dn printer is now working. Thank you Gianni :)
My god, shaking it worked! It was actually a combo of his steps... Thanks to this guy man-handling his printer I toughened up a bit, and wasn't afraid to show mine who's boss. BTW***I don't have this printer, but I figured most printer are made similarly... At first shaking didn't work, so then I cut up a manila folder to 8.5 X 11 to force it through- it wouldn't go through all the way, something seemed to be stopping it, but I couldn't tell. After two days of trying everything this guy did in this video, I finally said out loud "FINE I SURRENDER! I'll get a new printer!" I shook it one more time but not upside down- I shook it with the paper exit side up and I heard a clink! A tiny staple came out. Boom! The printer is a good as new now.
You forgot to include hitting both sides of it at the same time while cursing at its mother.
😅 right!
I swear!!! Omg I'm so frustrated
Inserting little thick paper from outlet and doing back and forth brought a small piece of paper out which fixed my problem.
I thought the printer was lying saying paper jam. But truly it was paper jam.
Thank you so much!
I have a huge printer. An HP Inkjet that weighs about 30 pounds. It's big and clunky so I couldn't see myself turning it upside down, and shaking it. After reading everyone's testimonials, I decided to buck up, turn the printer over and was about to shake the beegeesus out of it when I saw a piece of paper that I could not see while the printer was sitting on my desk! Hallelujah!! Plus, I had just purchased and installed four brand new cartridges so I wasn't about to throw this mammoth out although I was tempted to! BRILLIANT insights. Yes, the turning it over, shaking it and everything else this man says avoided a devastating break up with my printer!! THANK YOU!
excellent advice--I had tried lots of things using trouble shooting guides, nothing worked. Turning the printer upside down and shaking vigorously worked the first time. Thank you, you saved me from throwing the printer away and saved it from cloging up the landfill.
My printer said it was "jammed" for 2 weeks! I couldn't figure out how to fix this issue no matter what I tried, until I came across this video! Step 4 - using a glossy paper fixed it! FINALLY! Thank you so much!
The "give the printer a few upside down shakes" method had me quite skeptical but by golly it worked!!!! I can't help but laugh a little and want to give this guy a high five.
I basically was at a loss on how to fix my duplex printer jam issue. I tried everything and there was no paper anywhere. Well, after watching your video I decided to force paper through the duplex unit and it fixed my issue. Thank you for giving me the idea and helping me to save a few hundred dollars.
Swamped with work... tax man on my back getting close to apr 15... you saved my butt. Thanks!
I'm a software person, so see advice like "turn it upside down and shake" seems a little odd, but damn if it didn't work! Thank you,,,,never in a million years would I have thought to try that.
Thank you geniuses, one and all. It's a heavy printer, but I was able to lift the thing, turn it upside down, and out flew a push-pin. The frustrating message disappeared and I don't have to take the printer to the repair shop or the backyard.
This man knows what he's doing. Worked for me on a false paper jam error
You saved my life. I tried all the methods, except the shaking part, and it works. 💕💕😍 Thank you.
I got a this issue in my Brother HL-5450DN printer. I fought with this issue for 4 hours last night. And this moring come, I found out this clip. As his advice, I just inserted a thick paper into the printing pass (into MP Tray roller), than power up the printer, the error message suddenly had gone and printed sucessfully. Thanks a lot.
The shaking method just fixed my printer. Thank you so much for this video. I was about to go crazy lol.
This was indeed helpful to me in fixing my printer that had the same so-called paper jam issue. After watching this, I had tried some of your tips and I was shocked when I found out that there was a twisted ring that got stuck in my printer. This was the reason why I was not able to print and why the printer keeps prompting a paper jam problem. It’s resolved now. Thanks much for this video.
Great help!!!! Your video saved me after having my printer out of service for 2 wks. Thank you very much 🙏🏾
This video really helped me. The printer in our office says "Problem Paper" and I tried the solution of unplugging the cord while the printer is on and plug it again. After doing it, I was able to print my reports. Thank you Sir!
Thanks for the advise, after checking for paper the shaking helped. Important thing to remember that if you have a liquid ink printer not to shake too much. Thanks again.
EXCELLENT!.. pushed a 'gloss paper' through, and it WORKED immediately! It spit out a piece of sellotape, that was invisible to the eye...Great tutorial...Thank you...
okay my stupid hp officejet 3830 has been telling me there was a paper jam for about a year and i tried EVERYTHING. who knew all i needed to do was take out the ink cartridges, turn it upside down, and shake the shit out of this thing. I think maybe starting it without the ink cartridges in might have helped but something tells me the shaking was the move. AMAZING. saved me $200
This was helpful to me in fixing my Canon MX340 printer that had the same so-called paper jam issue. After watching this, I tried out the shaking tip of the printer (nothing) Then I kept trying to run the photo paper through and finally it went through this worked for me. The first run through brought out what looked like finely crumbled up leaf. The second one brought out more. I used a hair dryer to blow out the printer afterwards and it is now working great.Thank you so very much for the tips.
Wow, this is gold. The thick paper trick worked in my case.
The shaking was scary but it worked !! just let it rest overnight just so the ink settled. Working like a charm today ! Thank you !
Thank you somuch. Mine was jammed with paper. I took off the paper and the error is still there saying paper jam. Almost returned it to Staples where it was purchased. After watching this video, I unplugged it, shaked the printer and hit it three times. There you go, it works 💪
Wonderful! I was about to throw my machine away, thanks to you I found a tiny piece of paper stuck in the wheels, and now it works, and it's a Canon Pixma! Thank you!
I have the same thing. A Canon Pixma. Drove a piece of cardboard through the paper feed and a toothpick came out! Checking to see if it works now!
@@busterservicks726 Did it work
Pushing a piece of heavy/glossy paper through the paper path is the tip I will use first from now on. Why didn't I ever think of that? Thanks for this video (and thanks for many other videos of yours I have watched) keep'em coming.
Jim Wilson This also works for me. I used Vellum paper, and when I gently pushed the vellum paper into the rear tray, suddenly all accumulated dusts and dirts (Even a small shards of plastic stucked there) came out. When we removed it, that's when the paper rollers moved. Turns out, all accumulated dusts and dirts were keeping them from functioning.
2:17 Number 4 worked like a charm
Had a bad paper jam got it out but 1 tiny piece broke off printer wouldn't work did this and got it out didn't have glossy photo paper used a piece of card stock paper instead it's heavy 😊Thank you so much you helped end my nightmare 😇🥰
Thank you for this video. It helped me solve my problem. The method which worked for me was pushing a piece of laminated paper from the output slot all the way through to the input slot.
My Canon printer kept showing a paper jam error even though there's no paper stuck in it. I tried everything with turning off and on, i left it off for a month cause I was so close to smashing it. I stumbled on this video and tried the shaking upside down method.. and it worked LOL. Thank you so much!!
I tried all these things and when I got to solution "4B" I couldn't get a paper to feed through. It kept getting stuck on something. I tried using a membership card (think credit card thick) and out popped a lego piece (yes, I have kids)! I also used baby wipes to thoroughly clean (remove dust) inside and outside the printer. Now it works great! I'm so glad I don't need to buy a new printer!!! I just wanted to share in case the card trick might help someone else!
Thank you so much! I had already called the company and they were trying to get me to buy another printer. I tried shaking mine a little then fed cardstock through it. It really worked!
Best helpful video for this problem! Thank you!
Hello,
Thank you so much for your video support ! 👍
It's been just great!
For me, it worked that part with shaking the printer.
It turned out I had some dry leaf inside that fell out inside from my plants 😇
You've been just great!
Thank you very much for making / uploading this. :)
Thank you for teaching how to fix paper jamming printer. Removing the cartridges and returning back worked for me.
I can’t thank you enough for rescuing me after one month without a functioning printer. I did all the steps on the same order you did. Inserting a card on the paper outwau was the magic trick for me, i guess. I’m grateful for you, GOD bless you
happy to help you
Oh my goodness, the glossy paper method worked! God bless you !!
We laughed af with friends when he started shaking but this turned out the exact tip that solved our problem... thanks! 😂
We Indians do that all the time when a device has a problem. We even tap on the remote hard and surprisingly enough it extends the battery life😆😆🤣
Thank you for the video. My printer kept saying that the paper is jammed when there was no sign of paper. After watching your video I pushed the shit of paper through the printer and found a small toy (!!!) stuck in there. Oh, kids! I was able to get it out and the printer is working again. Thanks to your advice!
3:07 i loved how he just flew it to the ground😂
And why is this comment section SO DAMN FUNNY!
Thank you!! First video I found to help a lot! Turns out a candy wrapper was stuck in there smh lol
Pushing photo paper through was a tip that helped tremendously! Many thanks!
OMG my printer worked after pushing the paper through the pathway! Thanks so much!
Same here. Found a toothpick in there.
Thank you so much! Method 2 helped a lot! 😊
I understood everything you said because you did not speak too quickly and the photo shots very good. Thank you!
Awesome worked for me I did unplug, took out cartridges, shook and manually moved the paper guide plugged back and printer started working again. Thanks
I can not believe it, the shake method fixed my issue - I was about to smash this printer...
That was some mighty fine shakin'!
Mine also work with shake method, lol. Never thought it would works!
Possathorn P are you guys serius 🤣
me too
Thank you so much for posting this. With Tip No. 4 (2:17) I was able to reset the error message and move a sliver of paper out from inside the machine by loading card stock into the paper tray und running it.
Taking the ink cartridges out and back in and sliding it over 3 times worked for me! Thanks!
Thanks!!! This is awesome!!!!!
THANKS! Number 3 worked for me!
There really was a jam! i had looked at the roller in back but not until I completely removed it did I actually see the scrunched up paper. Thank you!
Saved my printer, step 4 worked, thanks!
Pushing a couple card stock sheets through did the trick! Thank you so much
The trick of putting thick paper worked for me, the error message was not showing but the paper was still getting jammed so in the next step, I used the same thick paper for the printout, with it all the tiny pieces of paper that were stuck came out. Great Video, even shaking the printer would help but tiny pieces that are stuck near the printer sensor can only be removed with the thick paper trick.
you made it work again for me, thx a lot!
Hi, cannot thank you enough as I was ready to launch my printer at the nearest wall...whatever I tried didnt work until I saw your life saving video that said turn it upside down and shake and shake...I did this as the last resort and hey presto the printer then started to print once again...many many thanks ...
this video helped me fix my printer.. its been sitting not working for over three years. Thanks mate.
It worked. Only your great advise. I followed them. It was a hair bobby pin. Thanks a million!!!
Shaking worked and wow, Thank you so much!
I was ready to shake the printer upside down right out the window because as I was working my way down nothing was working. And I was dismayed I’d have to go get it fixed since it’s still relatively new. Thankfully #4 did the trick, thanks!
Thank you! Method 4 worked for me.
Thanks so much! Method #4 worked for me :)
Really good advice especially shaking it. I forced a christmas card through too and it works fine again.
#3 helps...Thank you so much for this video
Omg, the shaking worked...A business card had slipped in the in the sensor area! Thankssssss
Helpful video, fixed mine, thanks dude! :)
can't believe the tired and true shaking it up method works tysm i wouldn't have tried it otherwise
Wooow, the one for putting papers really worked. Thanks a lot
I too was shocked that this actually worked. I unplugged it for 30 minutes and shook it upside down as best I could (mine is a beast printer/copier/scanner combo). Printed no problem!
I am about to try all these things and I need steroids to shake my printer but let’s see how it goes lol
Thank you for all of the suggestions! I opened the printer to remove the ink cartridges and found the paper jammed up on one side of the ink cartridges.
This was the solution to my problem. Thank you!
5 years later this video helped me - I fed a laminated hard page through the feed, and it must have cleared whatever was stuck
The first solution actual worked for me. Awesome stuff
Thank you. Step 3 worked for me.
This feels like unintentional ASMR...I like it.
Thank you!!! You made my day! Epson wd is fixted!!!!
thanks, your video helped me a lot
the thick gloss paper worked for me, as a piece of small paper was stuck and messing with the paper jam indicator. thanks for these useful tips
thank you very much your running paper through the paper path worked
Thank you ... solved my problem!!
You are the hero! Putting paper through it pushed out the piece that was stuck so that I could see it. Just saved my Samsung from being a doorstop. Thank you!
Pretty good video. Thanks I used number 4, and it worked.
Thank you so much.👍❤️
thanks! you resolved my issue!
Thank you!!!I used the thick and hard paper method and it worked. Turned out that a paper clip got stocked. Almost freaked out cause I was so sure there's no paper jam.
Printer would not print after many tries. Found this video and I used a very thin piece of cardboard and shoved it through the paper feeder and out popped a breath mint, white as snow and matching the printer components completely blending in. My family was thinking of trashing the printer. Now to see if it can actually print lol
the cardboard method worked for me.. thanks much!!!
This rly helped to fix my teachers printer. Thank you!
I couldnt believe it. I thought it only a joke or prank. The shake shake method worked out. thanks alot. I save money
It works! Don't know when a ruler jump in the printer and it shows paper jam when I can't see any paper ! Thanks a lot!
shaking it worked.... thank you
Fantastic - I thought we had tried everything!
Superb fella, worked a treat, my printer is perfect now, thank you :-)
thank you so much for everything, i saved 5,000 pesos for your number 4 advice
Very helpful tips, thank you so much, you saved my life, my problem solved after insert paper :)
He wasn't very gentle when he shook it.....
I was waiting for him to throw it to the ground!!!
well try and shake a 50 Kg (110 Pounds) laser printer you cant do that it is too heavy and dangerous for your toes
rock a bye baby
I lost my patience lmao
Gently pushing 5 sheets of paper in the paper output fixed the problem for me. Thanks!
Thank you!
