The influence believe it or not on early Reggae music was black American artist such as Sam Cooke, Nat King Cole and of course the great Curtis Mayfield, you will hear the influence Mayfield had on Marley in the song “OneLove” which is derived from Curtis Mayfield People Get Ready.
