How did the instructor instruct you to take ur 2 point turn? What he or she say?was it right forward like make a right here or make this 2nd right drive up etc??
Charmaine Jefferson My instructor did not talk much. She did not micromanage me at all, but simply said 'do the turn' if you really did 60 hrs it should be no problem.
1. Make sure you see the first cone in backseat of passenger window
2. Put signal on
3. Turn wheel all the way(left or right depending on where you parking)
4. Put it on reverse
5. Look at side mirrors to make sure you don't touch any cones
6. Go half way before you...
7. Adjust the wheel to make sure the car is straight
8. Back into parking spot

Congrats, by any chance did the examiner ask you to change lanes or you had to do it on your own? Plus, does the rest require you to parallel park?
Toni Hawkins No parallel parking your asked to change lanes as soon as you turn on to Amendale Rd....Then on virgin manor your told to stay in the right lane which just means shift to the furthest right lane.Then finally when you turn back onto Baltimore ave they ask you too shift over again

can you do a video on the final step for reversing into the parking space with the cones. they don't have the. 2 parking spaces as shown in alot of videos. they have the white line stripes so it looks almost like a curb parking into a space. this is at the mva in beltsville. thank you

Note that you are not allowed to film at the MVA. You can watch others taking the test from the parking lot.
John thanks for replying back. that i do know of not video taping but when i saw your video of the "on the road test" driving, i figured you might have done a video of the reverse parking as well. are they set up like curb parking?
I thought about filming but the 10 signs around the lot convinced me to stick my phone back in my pocket :)

Question, on Virginia manor, when there's a new lane that appears, should I stay in the middle and wait for instructor to tell me to move over?
I would follow the instructor's direction. He/she might say that you will taking a right turn ahead. If so, it's up to you to know that you need to be in the right lane. BTW, notice the white car that we are following. That is someone that is taking the actual test.

My instructor took me reverse of that, but we came back the same way. On Admiral Cochrane Dr, I think we went into Womack Dr and headed back the same way.

@@rahshanpaige8581 WTF...I actually gave him the time stamps for every speed limit sign. BTW, you need to know the signs...the instructor will ask you after you passed the sign.

Is it only one route to beltsville?
That is the most likely route. To test this assumption, go to the MVA and follow a test taker after they leave the closed course.

Yep, this is the road course once you finish the closed portion.

Only reverse parking - see example: ruclips.net/video/IIMqyAXnVp0/видео.html. Go to google maps (satellite view) and search for your MVA. You will see the closed course.
I failed on last Wednesdy. The instructor kept saying that I move too slow when I turned at intersection and then failed me because I didn't make a full stop before turning right.
Sorry about that. The too slow is somewhat subjective - just try to speed up a little next time. However, the failed stop is a fail. At least you know what they are looking for and next time should be easier. Good luck!

Sorry...i don't have the route. I'll give you a tip. If you drive up to the MVA on a weekday, you can follow a car taking the test. That's the best way to know the actual route.
do they provide you with a car or you bring your own ?
You must bring your own car. A lot of the people at this location were using driving class cars the day I visited (note the car that I'm following).
