@@mel-el5862 exactly. I was so not impressed that I just went and watch the 1978 original Halloween. In my opinion, the first and last time we needed to see the human Michael Myers was when he killed his sister on that fateful night in 1963, after his escape from the insane asylum, he becomes "The Shape". Halloween Ends has Corey calling him a man in a mask, no he's the Shape and that's what made Halloween scary. They totally ruined the whole Halloween theme. There are some originals that need not be touched some examples are Halloween, Nightmare on Elm Street, The Omen.
This is what the novel has to say about that scene.......When Corey confronts Michael for the mask, he demands to know what Michael did to him. While they struggle, Corey notes that Michael's black eyes have no effect on him this time. He manages to get Michael to lose his balance and then slams Michael's head repeatedly into the ground until he stops fighting back. Corey takes the mask and looks into it, feeling a frightening calm over him. the novel also says that Corey has taken some of his dark power. at the end when Michael kills corey he takes it back. this also happens to other people. the original opening scene continues from the last movie. Michael kills two garbage men and takes their truck and escapes. he comes across a cabin where a man has kidnapped his little daughter, who he also abuses. Michael's evil also goes into her and she kills her own dad. Laurie writes in her memoir that Loomis told her a story about a patient he had named carl. a schizophrenic who was making great progress that is until carl is placed next door to Michael. carl tells loomis he can feel the darkness and starts to change. carl even gets the same eyes as Michael. eventually carl kills two guards then himself.
@@DCFCfanatic ok, that's fine, but how is it that the person being "infected" can over power Myers, the originator of the "infection". The only way I can make any sense of how Myers is over powered by Corey is energy leaving Myers amplified Corey's pre existing anger buildup from the bullying.
The only reason that they de-powered Michael is so that a 70 year old ex babysitter could defeat an unstoppable killing machine bare handed in a display of girl power.

I genuinely feel bad for kids growing up 00’s - present.... there’s literally nothing original now. Everything is a “remake” reimagined” “reboot” of something else worlds better and perfect the way it was. I find myself just rewatching so many 80 - 90’s movies (especially horror, action, and comedy) it’s crazy! What the heck happened!?!? I’m convinced they’re all out of ideas and a bunch of talentless hacks. 🤦♀️
Totally spot on with your rant. They sidelined the greatest horror icon of the past 50 years and turned him into a shell of what he was. Hard to believe adults sat in a room with this script and thought it was a good idea
Not only did they do him dirty, but they couldn't even keep up with their own continuity. They couldn't decide whether he's a man or has supernatural powers and present them as both. Then we follow Corey for 2/3 of the movie and I'm left believing that he will be the new Boogeyman. Instead, they kill him off and have a geriatric showdown between Michael and Laurie. One way I think they could have done a successful pass the torch story was if they ended the movie with Michael being disposed of and then the body of Corey Cunningham disappearing off the lawn, just like at the end of the first Halloween. Instead we got this, and I say f*** this.
I was shocked by it. Everything felt like a film student’s first attempt. The script, the editing, the lighting, the main plot (where things just happened for little reason). None of the characters have any motivation or purpose( Corey going into the sewer, him going upstairs and picking up the misplaced knife, Michael getting the shit beat out of him, Laurie inviting Michael to kill her after she’d won) This was the biggest mess of a trilogy finish I’ve ever seen.
Halloween 2018 didn’t need a trilogy. At this point, they really should’ve made it a once and done direct sequel and just let the franchise rest after that.
They literally had no direction. Each movie has a retcon of the previous 😂 the director said Michael is suppose to be human(which just from that he got the character wrong) but then add the scene of him in resurrecting in kills and then retcon in ends saying he’s injured 🤦🏽♂️ it’s so stupid that people are accepting of that
They could have improved the Kills script and made it feel more important and have that been the finale and make it a double feature similar to the original and Halloween II
You said everything on point dude. There's no purpose for Laurie character anymore since it's not about her and him. This movie should not been made because it had no basis.
Corey's death had such little impact on the story I forgot he was even a character. I was watching the credits (frozen in shock bc the movie was that bad) and I was like "Corey? Who the fuck- oh yeah, him."
Anyone that thinks it was cool to see Michael go out like a chump needs to admit they are crazy. After kills they created a savage unstoppable Michael. It would take an entire town at that point to even stop him. This movie sucked.
Just come back from watching this! I was like what they should have done was put the last 20 mins from this film on to the end of Halloween kills and that would have saved them making a trilogy
Loved *KILLS*, so bad ass, the perfect Michael Myers film ! i agree that the peeps just stand there and get killed, but that's how slasher films play out, it wouldn't be a true slasher without dumb-ass victims virtually sacrificing themselves to the alpha-male horror icon, lol, but *ENDS* was just microwaved dogsh*t, its an insult to all true Halloween fans like you and I, such a missed opportunity, Myers could have gone out with a bang instead of a muted whimper.
People should direct their anger towards Jamie Lee Curtis because she signed off on this dumpster fire 🔥 of a movie. The fact that she wanted to be seen as the survivor doesn’t make sense when she’s a 70 plus year old grandma 👵🏻 that’s able to kill Michael Myers who’s considered to be a supernatural force. The movie and her are an absolute joke.
Your laughter in the beginning perfectly encapsulates Halloween Ends. I agree fully with your entire rant and never have I ever watched a movie like this that has made me rant about it ever since I watched it. It's absolute garbage!! No one wanted the "Corey Show" and like you said, they KNEW this was crap with the marketing. I watched the trailer again today and it does look like Corey is just the first kill and that Laurie is obsessing over Michael the entire time. I'm with you, I just can't write this off as a bad Halloween movie either. It was marketed as a trilogy, H2018 and Kills were clearly made as parts 1/2 of a trilogy, and Ends comes along completely ignoring where we left off in Kills to start off with Corey?! Who the FK is Corey!?!?!? There was potential to make an awesome movie that started where Kills left off and they blew it. And by blowing Ends, they blew the entire trilogy.
They call us “toxic fans” but honestly it’s the anti fandom that’s the problem. Anytime we have an issue with an established franchise they jump on the “it was great” train like it’s the second coming of Christ. They’re like the fucking reverse flash or some shit.
Kills is my second favorite after the original. Michael was such a badass and in my opinion it nailed his character. I wanted to love Ends. Man the disrespect they showed to Michael was appalling. In my opinion, Kills is my true ending to this Blumhouse trilogy.
***LOVED KILLS*** I agree, its the perfect Michael Myers film ! He was lethal as f*ck, so stylishly shot and it enhanced his legacy and iconography as well as being pure adrenalin, so much fun as a film with the '78 footage matching Carpenters original film, then *ENDS* just squanders the promise and established universe of the first two films in the trilogy and was just a dumpster-fire from minute one and an insult to all true Halloween fans and their audience-investment, i feel betrayed :(
If I’m not mistaken, the original plan was all 3 movies in this trilogy supposed to take place on the same night. The pandemic happened & Kills and Ends were pushed back a year each. Personally I loved Halloween 2018 🎃 & Kills. Can we please get like a Snyder cut version of Ends lol. Ends should have started with Michael killing Karen & then answering her phone when Laurie calls. Have Laurie walking out of the hospital with the knife 🔪 and hit the music!!
Michael and Coreys Wedding Song is TIME OF MY LIFE From Dirty Dancing. And just one example of the Ludacris writing in this movie is when the Daughter walked in and saw her boyfriend on the floor Bleeding to death and her Reaction was to throw a temper tantrum and go storming off instead of doing what any normal person would do which is to comfort your Boyfriend /Girlfriend and call for help.
I think the film-maker (*DGG*) and Crew had a " community meeting " on how to make the WORST Halloween film ever and what to do to disappoint and p*ss-off their audience/true Halloween fans and how to destroy Michael Myers and his iconic horror Legacy, well in this alone they " succeeded ". Halloween ENDS : Complete Garbage.
Agreed I love H kills it is a rollercoaster. DDG should let another film maker do a proper sequel to Kills and made the film he wanted as a standalone. I really don't think people would have a problem then.
For me the only tiff was not showing the mob kill in real time but everything else was fine for me Even Laurie staying in the hospital. It felt like a great set up movie.
@@Kn1ghtborne yeah that's a good point. It does Rob the scene of some of its potential awesomeness. Kind of reminds me how I felt watching Alien three after getting so hyped as loved Alien and Aliens. Not a bad film but as a follow up to Aliens it was a massive drop in quality and thrills.
In my opinion this movie was very disappointing. I wanted a movie about Mike Meyers fighting Lorie, not this side character nobody cares about. Mike and Corey were like Ted Bundy teaching Jeffry Dahmer. The only thing I liked was the ending. This felt like 2 movies puzzle pieced into one, and the important pieces were replaced with a different puzzle.
As someone who’s been a horror fan for 39yrs or so (I’ve seen it all) Halloween (2018) was imo one of the biggest disappointments in the last 5yrs the only great film about this new time line was the Myers mask everything about this new time line is lazy and very insulting! Blumhouse understood how to use the internet and social media to push Halloween (2018) as this massive game changer for Slasher/Horror and they managed to grift everyone this new time line/series was never about the fans it was making easy money by selling Nostalgia (It worked the internet is dead wrong 50% of the time) Hopefully horror fans learn from this (This entire new Trilogy just Devalued The Halloween & Michael Myers IP even more)
Just go by the title of the movie. It just ends. The people who made this decided to just end the trilogy and not even make a good movie. I'm gonna enjoy this video and I'll be commenting more. Also just saw Smile tonight and that movie was terrifying! EVIL DIES TONIGHT!!!!!!
I also liked Kills a lot. I don't get why it's gotten so much hate. The blue letters in the beginning immediately threw me off. The bait and switch is what pissed me off. Mikey isn't "stronger" or "more sinister" or whatever Laurie said in the trailer that she didn't say in the movie. He gets hardly any screen time and he's a pushover. Plus how is he somehow mortal now? A few cuts on his body and he's done? Why is he weak and decrepit in the sewer but totally fine locked up for decades when he didn't kill anybody for decades. I felt like they literally threw Michael into the trash because that's what they did with his power and did to him literally. Also what happened to what Laurie said about, "If I die then he dies." She said something like that. Once again they totally ignored their own setup and threw it in the trash. I'm absolutely disgusted with this movie. Also fuck Cory for getting so much screen time and fuck that lifetime ending with the veggies on the porch and Michael's mask on the table like some sudoku puzzle book.
There's a lot of stuff the novel explains. it was written by the same guy who wrote the movie. in an interview he did not want to give anything away. but he said that it was up to the director to decide what made it into the movie and he tries to explain more within the novel. the story does not start with Corey. instead it starts off where the last movie left off. as allyson is being placed in an ambulance, she is told about her mom's death.. Michael runs into two garbage men who he kills and steals their truck and escapes. even though the police have the roads closed, they still don't find him. Michael comes across a cabin where a man has kidnapped his daughter, who he also abuses. His dark power, essence, whatever seeps into the little girl and she kills her own father. after this Michael ends up making his home in an old meatpacking plant. prior to Michael arriving there, two teens meet there and fall in love. one of them is Kim, the girl that Allyson's boyfriend in 2018 cheated on her with. a year later, the couple go back to the plant for their anniversary. but Michael is there. He kills the guy and goes after Kim. Kim grabs a steel bar and impales it into Michael's arm. he pulls it out and kills Kim with it. this cause's Michael's arm to go limp. after this michaels ends up in a nearby sewer Corey is suicidal. he is constantly breaking into the Allen's home and tries to jump off the top floor but can't do it. on the bridge before the bullies show up, he contemplating killing himself again using Laurie's knife. After taking Michael's dark power, Corey finally jumps off the top floor banister and survives. the dj plays some of Loomis tapes from when Michael was his patient.. loomis explains that he too is changing. that michael's darkness is changing him. he can't sleep and that he's changing. in her memoir laurie tells a story that loomis told her. about a patient named carl who was schizophrenic. he was getting better until he was moved next to michael's room. that's when he changed and developed the same eyes as michael. he told loomis he could feel the darkness. carl eventually kills two guards and then himself. the homeless guy was a patient at smith's grove and Sartain used him to try and entice michael. even abused him. the homeless guy, Nelson, eventually started to see michael as a god and devoted himself to him. so later when Nelson comes across the sewer he starts to feel the darkness from smith grove. Nelson starts to knock out people, kidnap them and take them to Michael where he kills them. so all those missing people mentioned in the movie were kidnapped by Nelson the homeless guy and given over to Michael, especially on Halloween night. Nelson also provided Michael with food. But it's also implied that Michael ate his victims. corey finds bones in the sewer that have been picked cleaned. Michael passes his dark power to corey when he chokes him. corey sees his own visions. Michael does not see them.later when michael kills corey, he takes that dark power back. the story was about the trauma the town has gone through, not Michael, not corey. the novel even talks about how the town is pure trash now. rumors are even going around that there is a cult called the Cult of Samhain. that michael isn't human but a dark force they call forth on halloween. the myers house has been demolished and in it's place a memorial garden has been set up. but it's in shambles now and mostly emo teens that worship myers hang out there. the dj has also helped spread these rumors, even saying that corey is the latest boogeyman the cult has summoned. the dj also plays some of loomis's audio tapes. loomis claims he feels himself changing. a darkness growing within. also the writer stated that the movies were never meant to take place on the same night and year and does not know where that rumor even came from. he said that when he and David Gordon Green got together, Green intended to make each movie take place on the exact year it came out. that the story for ENDS was already being written around the time KILLS was being finalized and ready to go out to theaters.
The novelization looks even more delusional, and it is not canon. The author of this novel stated that he and Green had fundamentally different views on the concept. In particular, there was no Michael in the film at all, there was only Corey and the splitting of his consciousness, as well as Strode's memoirs, where she tries to cope with her own inner demon. And I like the movie the way it was.
I'd go as far as saying Kills was three times as good as Ends, but it was still a trash movie lol however... Ends definitely made Kills more tolerable. At least Michael Myers had shit to do in it. Ends was about as disrespectful to Michael Myers as Amazon was to Tolkien.
even Danielle Harris and Scout Taylor Compton said after watching ends. the only good thing was Corey's performance. like everyone else Danielle and Scout agreed that Michael not being in the movie until 40 minutes into it was total bullshit
Exactly the way I felt after watching it lol stupid social commentary ,horrible acting by everyone including JLC, horrible plot , hardly any kills , no Halloween atmosphere , hardly Michael myers and few times he does show up they disrespect him , and only focused on Corey. The ending was so cheesy with all the town people lol
When we watched Halloween Ends trailer we thought it will be like Corey accidentally awakens Michael then Corey will either be killed by Michael in the sewer or escape Michael. If Corey escape then he will be the third or fourth protagonist in the film that’s what we thought.
I’m just going to pretend this isn’t cannon to the 2018 series. This movie was hard to watch, Corey storyline made me cringe so much. They gutted characters left and right too, this movie pissed me off.
It’s a joke played upon the Halloween fan base! Not being overdramatic I think they intentionally made a Season of the Witchish piss off the fans movie hence the blue title card Me: Why David Gordon Green, why? DGG: Do I need a reason? Danny McBride was right you know. I do love a good joke, and this is the best one ever. A joke on the Halloween fanbase
He is just a regular guy now Prior movie he took out an entire firefighter crew and a mob of people after they beat him down …. Michael can somehow have sympathy power to look into Corey’s eyes and made him a sidekick…. WTH 40mins into movie Michael finally was shown ….. WTH Laurie was hell bent on being ready for Michael , Michael kills Laurie’s daughter and now Laurie let’s it go and writes a book …. WTH
This is the best review by far. I now have my relatives listening to this. You’re truly pissed off beyond words and rightfully so. The movie is such a terrible mess! 😞
Idk how we can get a worse movie than Resurrection We've come so far just to get beloved franchises completely shat on by the same people who made it in the first place and that's extremely weird. Halloween 6 isn't anywhere near this bad
The non-sensical complaints of Halloween Ends: "Michael was weak in Ends" - Uh, yeah. That's literally the point. Throughout most of Kills, he was probably pumped up on adrenaline. The mob beating absolutely wrecked him. He was dying from years of untreated, infected wounds. And he's 65. He is quite literally an old man. He's still a human, afterall. "Michael got beat up by a nerd who got beat up by band bullies" - This one is my favourite. First of all, at this point in the story, Corey was infected with Michael's evil. THAT'S WHY he was able to go toe to toe with him. With this, it also made him stronger. Also, he never "beat up" Michael. He used Michael's own momentum against him, tripping him up causing Michael's head to smack into the ground. Secondly, those "band bullies" (I love how people have to shoehorn the word "band" in there) were literally the same size as Corey. Anyone can get their ass kicked by a group of teenagers. You're lying if you can't. What's more, Paul Brad Logan, the screenwriter of Ends and author of the Ends novelization, said in a recent interview, that he himself was once bullied by members of a marching band. The fact that they are in a band is irrelevant. "It's just an Allyson and Corey love story" - No, it's not that. It's a story about one person's descent into darkness and it showed that his attraction to Allyson turned into obsession because the evil was taking over. THAT is the point of that relationship. "Michael is hardly even in it" - Okay... But he was there the whole time. You could literally feel his presence seeping through every crack and crevis of Haddonfield. He tainted the town with his evil. And you know, he actually had less screentime in the original. Hell, Freddy Krueger only had about 7/8 minutes of screentime in the original Elm Street. But did that matter? No. Because you could still feel his presence. It's all about quality over quantity. Using him sparingly. "It's not a Halloween film" - Except, it quite literally is: a) It continues the story of the OG, 2018 and Kills. b) Michael Myers is in it. c) It takes place on Halloween. How is it NOT a Halloween film? Oh, I get it. Because it's not 2 hours of Michael going house to house, stalking and slaughtering people... Is that what you all wanted? Just a repeat of 2018 and Kills? Then you would all complain that Ends was just the same as the others. Now you complain that it's too different. These filmmakers just cannot win with this fanbase. They made the right choice. They branched out. Gave us something fresh. Something unique. And you know what? I would have them do it again. Oh, and let me just touch on what Laurie said in Kills. "The more he kills, the more he transcends into something impossible to defeat: Fear. People are afraid. THAT is the true curse of Michael." How people cannot understand this is beyond me. People thought she was talking about Michael himself becoming unstoppable, which is why they are pissed off with how he is utilized in Ends. She was literally talking about the fear he creates. The more people are afraid, the more Michael's evil taints the town of Haddonfield. For 4 years after the events of 2018 and Kills, his presence was felt throughout the entirety of Haddonfield. Haddonfield was just a cesspool of dread and fear. And when watching Ends, you can feel it yourself. Not one point did I not think that Michael wasn't there. He was there the whole time. His evil presence was seeping through every crack and crevis of Haddonfield. SYMBOLISM people. It's not that hard to grasp. Also, I had to laugh at your ignorance with Corey being "too small"... Nick Castle was literally 5'11 and weighed 145lbs when he played Michael in the original. Oh, but that get's a pass cos it's the original, right? Here is a much better and intelligent review. Maybe give it a watch. ruclips.net/video/9xGJHee8KyQ/видео.html
Lol bro. This was not my review with an outline and notes. This was a rant. Even for this being a rant, you missed a lot of my points. Here's my actual review though. ruclips.net/video/Zof2xtmBOnA/видео.html
Honestly I truly believe this is Jaime Lee Curtis doing . She had alot of input in this movie it wasn't just the money that brought her back for this role . She said it herself that she hates horror and not a fan of them at all . I believe that this was done purposely to destroy this franchise . This movie and the last Jedi as well as the rise of the Skywalkers in my opinion are the worst movies ever made because they took franchises that has built up a big fan base of 40 years just to destroy them in a 4or 5 years span . Wow
I agree that Curtis is an annoying person. But in this case, H20 deserves much more hatred, which destroyed the franchise more than 20 years ago. However, for some mysterious reason, for most fans, this disgusting movie is all right. As in the case of the equally lousy retcon H18. P.S. Horrorfans who are also fans of "Star Wars" and draw parallels between them should disappear.
Someone should make a cut of all three movies as one taking things out and slowly introducing Cory throughout.. somewhere underneath all this trash is a great 4 hour Halloween movie.
H20 also works better because in that timeline they're related an Michael is ACTUALLY ACTIVELY AFTER HER! lol. Laurie moved changed her name her look but still had PTSD, then Myers finally finds her an as shes running has her moment of "No, no more running" grabs an axe an chooses to confront him once an for all. The whole story holds more weight so the final showdown feels more gratifying.
This Halloween gave me halo 5 flashbacks with the marketing this movie was garbage how the fuck u gonna make a Halloween movie and make Michael Myers the side character
All points agreed i remember walking out the theater with only a quater of the people who originally walked in to begin with. The remaining of us looked at eachother scrathing our heads. O.o
It might be an unpopular opinion, but I honestly really liked how back in the day they were trying an anthology idea with Season of the Witch. That part where the kid puts the mask on in the test chamber and the bugs/snakes comes out of him was quite horrific. I know Michael Myers is the bread and butter of the franchise but how many times does he really need to be seen on screen? I will give H20 and Halloween(2007) a pass, because I really did enjoy those movies. But everything else kinda sucked lol
H20 started off like really super creepy with the scariest day time killing scene in the first 15min other than that it was a stellar slasher for the late 90s. resurrection was garbage halloween ends was super terrible. If they would had added the Corey character in Halloween kills then it would have had more potential.
Halloween kills might have been a dumb movie, but at least it was a fun slasher. This could have been a decent pass the torch from Michael to Corey, but instead we got this s*** show. Hollywood doesn't even have the balls to go through with an idea, yet they deliberately did this in order to make a divisive movie. They dropped the subplot we've been following through 2/3 of the film and give us a lame geriatric showdown before crowd surfing Myers into a car shredder. I'm glad that we're done with this crap.
This trilogy had a lot of missed opportunities. Will Patton was so under used and that's just scratching the surface. There were things I liked, things I didn't like but man so many different directions they could've gone.
I had a bad feeling this trilogy would be trash when they left halloween 2018 as a cliffhanger. I didnt even bother watching the second movie cause it felt off.
Unlike 18 and kills which I love and defend Ends gets worse each time I watch it rather than better. It's not that I don't like the Corey story and the actor's performance it's just that it isn't the film H ends should have been. I think that is as fair a way I can put it. The story should have ended at the same time as Kills. Then ends could be interesting standalone anthology movie. I wait with baited breath to see how Trancas retcon. After all how many times has it already been done in this franchise. Such a shame as DGG was so close to greatness before this film imho.
Kills was a big dumb movie with bad writing, but at least it wasn’t “fake deep” and pretending to be a departure like this movie was. We’ve had films in the franchise like Curse and RZH2 that are definitive departures and they actually stick to their decisions, whereas this movie wasted a lot of time building up a character that they wrote out of the movie right before the climax begins. It’s like he was never even there. They clearly had a 20 minute short film about Laurie and needed to make a full length movie so they decided to rip off Christine. What a terrible way to end the trilogy, and it’s a shame because there are a few good and interesting ideas being explored.
I saw this Movie for Michael Myers David Gorden Green It felt like his mind saying Screw The Fans of Michael Myers . Unbelievable extremely Very Disappointed .
Halloween 2018 has it's issues, but it should've ended there as it was an overall high note on the franchise generally speaking. Halloween 2 (1981) will always be my definitive sequel, but 2018 was a close contender (still is) but after two messy followups it taints the 2018 movie and all the good will it built up.

@@evildoughboy7773 or Allison could be the new "Shape" considering that Corey told her he murdered people and she seemed ok with it.
I was shocked by it. Everything felt like a film student’s first attempt. The script, the editing, the lighting, the main plot (where things just happened for little reason). None of the characters have any motivation or purpose( Corey going into the sewer, him going upstairs and picking up the misplaced knife, Michael getting the shit beat out of him, Laurie inviting Michael to kill her after she’d won)
This was the biggest mess of a trilogy finish I’ve ever seen.
Hollywood no longer deserves respect from anyone
Amen we should sue Hollywood for false advertisement
As soon as michael grabbed corey in the sewer i realized what kind of movie this was going to be and i was so fucking mad
Dude Jamie Lee Curtis hade a ton of input on Ends . Blame needs to go to her too!
Michael became the victim of elder abuse in this movie this is Halloween The elder abuse of Michael Myers
Oh gosh the laughter in the beginning…. This is going to be good.
I was just in disbelief the entire film. 😦
Corey's death had such little impact on the story I forgot he was even a character. I was watching the credits (frozen in shock bc the movie was that bad) and I was like "Corey? Who the fuck- oh yeah, him."
I wanted Corey to die sooner so Michael Myers can have the screen time
Anyone that thinks it was cool to see Michael go out like a chump needs to admit they are crazy. After kills they created a savage unstoppable Michael. It would take an entire town at that point to even stop him. This movie sucked.
This movie is absolutely ridiculous and totally embarrassing. I’m livid. ......
This trilogy shouldn't have been made...never made any sense
Just come back from watching this! I was like what they should have done was put the last 20 mins from this film on to the end of Halloween kills and that would have saved them making a trilogy
Have you watched jeepers creepers reborn! It’s worse than Halloween so that’s saying something
This angry rant is more compelling and logical than the crafted arguments made by the defenders of this movie.
The fight between Laurie and Michael was so anti-climatic because we just saw him get pushed around by Corey in the sewer. Movies trash.
Honestly, kills was ok. Felt like a loony tunes episode though. Michael just stands there as the Haddonfield citizens kill themselves lmao
Honestly I don't even think this movie took place on Halloween or like even reference it
Your laughter in the beginning perfectly encapsulates Halloween Ends.
I agree they did Micheal Myers dirty in this movie worst Halloween movie ever no one cares about corey
We had Halloween 1978, Halloween 2018, Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends. It's only fair to make Halloween Returns the Musical
They call us “toxic fans” but honestly it’s the anti fandom that’s the problem. Anytime we have an issue with an established franchise they jump on the “it was great” train like it’s the second coming of Christ. They’re like the fucking reverse flash or some shit.
We not toxic fans we are just true fan's that is speaking the truth
Kills is my second favorite after the original. Michael was such a badass and in my opinion it nailed his character. I wanted to love Ends. Man the disrespect they showed to Michael was appalling. In my opinion, Kills is my true ending to this Blumhouse trilogy.
Absolutely, I love kills, how does mm go from being basically the terminator to what we just saw
@@matthewgreaux91352 I'm with you on 18 and kills they are awesome
I loved Halloween 2018 and Halloween kills but I Hate Halloween ends it's the worst Halloween movie ever in the history of Halloween
Amen A Garbage movie
In short, we all fell for the clickbait. The trailer was the clickbait.
Halloween Kills is underrated in my opinion.
Very much so
Agreed I love H kills it is a rollercoaster. DDG should let another film maker do a proper sequel to Kills and made the film he wanted as a standalone. I really don't think people would have a problem then.
For me the only tiff was not showing the mob kill in real time but everything else was fine for me
Even Laurie staying in the hospital.
Ends pissed me off, they disrespected Michael, the story doesn't make any sense, It feels like a middle finger to the fans.
You just earned yourself a subscriber cause of how often I heard you say
“Don’t @ me bro” lol
This long rant was better than gold
They did this franchise so dirty. It was clearly a cash grab. The franchise is truly dead. Lets just pretend it doesnt exist.
Jason would never stand for this😂
no one can defend this movie , over 40 years since its first movie , that was a absolute disgrace to its legacy
This movie felt like the type of movie that you would watch on the SyFy Channel
This franchise has been crap since h20 and everything after
EVIL HIDES TONIGHT!!!!!
since when does Michael Myers take on an apprentice. Corey should have been given his own movie.
The who the f is Cory bro took me out😂😂😂😂😂
They treated Michael like a Cameo in his own movie. This movie is garbage👎🏾
I was pissed I paid the 10 dollars for a peacock subscription to watch this. I'd have rioted if I'd paid the admission fee for it.
You should get a refund get you're money back
In my opinion this movie was very disappointing.
I literally want to sue the creators for how awful this movie was
As someone who’s been a horror fan for 39yrs or so (I’ve seen it all) Halloween (2018) was imo one of the biggest disappointments in the last 5yrs the only great film about this new time line was the Myers mask everything about this new time line is lazy and very insulting! Blumhouse understood how to use the internet and social media to push Halloween (2018) as this massive game changer for Slasher/Horror and they managed to grift everyone this new time line/series was never about the fans it was making easy money by selling Nostalgia (It worked the internet is dead wrong 50% of the time) Hopefully horror fans learn from this (This entire new Trilogy just Devalued The Halloween & Michael Myers IP even more)
This is the best, honest review of this utter nonsense of a movie. Another Hollywood build up for absolute garbage.
I wish they could’ve had Lorie burn Mike Myers’s mask at the end with Mr. Sandman playing in the background while his mask burns into ashes and dust.
Bro when he brought up someone saying as a standalone it works I was crying laughing 😂😂😭
Kim grabs a steel bar and impales it into Michael's arm. he pulls it out and kills Kim with it. this cause's Michael's arm to go limp. after this michaels ends up in a nearby sewer
Corey is suicidal. he is constantly breaking into the Allen's home and tries to jump off the top floor but can't do it. on the bridge before the bullies show up, he contemplating killing himself again using Laurie's knife.
That's fine and dandy, but what matters is the movie which was an epic fail
Sad thing is, I paid good money to see this movie in the theater but I'm more entertained listening to this rant than Ends...
This movie freaking sucked
I’m just going to pretend this isn’t cannon to the 2018 series. This movie was hard to watch, Corey storyline made me cringe so much. They gutted characters left and right too, this movie pissed me off.
It’s a joke played upon the Halloween fan base! Not being overdramatic I think they intentionally made a Season of the Witchish piss off the fans movie hence the blue title card
Me: Why David Gordon Green, why?
DGG: Do I need a reason? Danny McBride was right you know. I do love a good joke, and this is the best one ever. A joke on the Halloween fanbase
He is just a regular guy now
Prior movie he took out an entire firefighter crew and a mob of people after they beat him down ….
Michael can somehow have sympathy power to look into Corey’s eyes and made him a sidekick…. WTH
40mins into movie Michael finally was shown ….. WTH
Laurie was hell bent on being ready for Michael , Michael kills Laurie’s daughter and now Laurie let’s it go and writes a book …. WTH
Loved your rant and completely agree. They shit on the GOAT
This is the best review by far. I now have my relatives listening to this. You’re truly pissed off beyond words and rightfully so. The movie is such a terrible mess! 😞
Freakin horrible Huge Dumpster Fire! I already did my rant on it Friday!🤣 Great rant and video by the way!🎃🍻🍻
Idk how we can get a worse movie than Resurrection
We've come so far just to get beloved franchises completely shat on by the same people who made it in the first place and that's extremely weird.
Halloween 6 isn't anywhere near this bad
True I would rather watch Halloween 6 then Halloween ends
The non-sensical complaints of Halloween Ends:
"Michael was weak in Ends" - Uh, yeah.
"It's not a Halloween film" - Except, it quite literally is:
a) It continues the story of the OG, 2018 and Kills.
b) Michael Myers is in it.
c) It takes place on Halloween.
THAT is the true curse of Michael."
How people cannot understand this is beyond me.

@@amilcarmusah4218 it's dosent matter of you are a fan of star wars .the point is the was both ruined
BEST RANT EVER ‼💯💯💯 I TOTALLY AGREE ‼
It’s like getting to the highest level of Scientology only to be told about Xenu.
Your laughing at the beginning are my sentiments exactly
I miss the SHape from part 1, 2 and 4-6 pcut. everything since then has been crap!
Someone should make a cut of all three movies as one taking things out and slowly introducing Cory throughout.. somewhere underneath all this trash is a great 4 hour Halloween movie.
All it was was really expensive Lori strode fanfiction
I couldnt imagine being a hardcore Halloween fan and seeing this atrocity of a movie.
Great rant. Best I've heard so far on Halloween ends. very entertaining funny as is cheers.
I was watching the trilogy and its actually ASTONISHING that they made Ends as messy as it was like its so fucking random i cant
There's nothing wrong with that at all
Just don't do what this movie did
H20 started off like really super creepy with the scariest day time killing scene in the first 15min other than that it was a stellar slasher for the late 90s. resurrection was garbage halloween ends was super terrible.
Laurie in the trailer: maybe the only way he dies is if i die with him
Laurie in the movie: doesnt even say this
She was busy saying it in Kills
It's like the subtitle for Running The Bases: "What if the only way to win is to lose?"
Whoa, I don't remember recording this at all.😬
He ran tombstone thats why he took that long to show up, needed to build up evil within 3 first.
This movie was pure trash garbage.
Halloween 2018 was decent. Halloween Kills was horrid. I haven’t seen Halloween Ends but going by this…yikes
Its so much worse than kills its not even funny
Kills is the Godfather compared to this.
Don’t watch Halloween ends it’s a complete waste of time
It was the homeless man who bought food for Michael to survive
Ah you right
This trilogy had a lot of missed opportunities.
Best rant video! 🤣 nothing but fucking facts !
I thought it was fine. Did not expect there to be multiple killers.
I know right they turned Micheal Myers into screem ghost face
WORST HALLOWEEN MOVIE EVER ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️
