Heartwood from Monterey Cypress was integrated into all aspects of Surf Houses design. The finest grade of wood was used inside-a deep and rich grain that begs to be touched by hands and bare feet. The exterior is clad in resistant, resilient outer wood, making use of the whole tree.

Most interesting build . Excellent flowing lines and very good views . Anything over $8M and I'm out , but I can totally appreciate the build and location . We nearly pulled the trigger on a FLW once , but as you know , they're one room wonders where the bedrooms are after thoughts and the kitchen is an annoyance that has to be there ...... to Mr Wright .

@@zz-.- not sure i follow your comments. That said, the average price per sq ft in 95062 is just over $1,100. They’re asking for just over $3,900 per sq ft. They’re asking approx. 3.5x the avg sq ft rate in the area. Lastly, the house was remodeled/rebuilt in 2019. So anyone expecting a marginal appreciation would be mislead… this is considered a recent build and as such, they’re asking a higher price… now, i agree it is high, but doing minor research helps to explains the sellers higher asking price..

An unquestionably lovely home. Probably a bit too much monochromatic wood color for my personal taste (0:32, 1:03, 1:48, 2:12, etc) but the setting and styling is gorgeous. Thanks for sharing
The design and the location are so dreamy together
It's rare to see a home with so many details ironed out and considered. This home was wired for Ethernet, there's a Ubiquiti Unifi wifi system in place, smart shades, scene controllers, high end DoorBird video doorbell, whole home audio, wood grain matched cabinetry, beautiful minimal stairs.
I've seen hundreds of modern style houses, but never a pretty one. Shockingly, now I have.
