Ford has a climate control reset you can do that does two things. One. It checks the function of the climate control and can reset issues that has popped up before. Two. It gives you codes for what is wrong with the system. The code pops up as a two digital code in the bottom corner of the infotainment screen. Hold down the power and the A/C buttons for 3-5 secs to engage it. The buttons vary on Ford models but that’s usually the procedure.
It’s impressive how well that Raptor has held up over nearly a quarter million miles. I’m glad that the repairs were all relatively easy. It really does seem like you got a great truck there, Randy.
When you said in your video you were having problems with the fan speed on the AC I immediately knew that it was a blow motor resistor. I had the same problem with my 2012 F150. I’ve heard it a common problem.
Great job Randy! The stock bumper looks 1000% better than that turd catcher that was on there before! I can see why you would want to keep that truck. You have got to do what you have to do though. Great video Man!

My buddy has a 2022 gen 3 raptor, he drove over a 3foot tall rock in a parking lot and it barely put a scratch on the skid plate those trucks are crazy (He's crazy too voided the warranty first week he had it)
On your 2018 f-150 read your owners manual I have a 2010 and there's cam fallowers in the motor they cost 10.00 a piece they tick when they go bad if you let them go you will have a destroyed motor says that in the owners manual good luck! 25:47
When I put new headlights in my 98 F150, I went with Auxbeams. Good bang for the buck. Only costed me $22 for the LED bulbs. And they're bright as hell
I’d love to have that Raptor. That bumper that came on it is horrible looking glad you put that stock bumber back on it and you are correct you have to manually start it after you clear the engine codes for the remote start to work.the blower resister is super easy to change I always remove the three screws on the bottom of the glove box and remove the glove box then it’s super easy access and you don’t have put your body in all kinds of weird painful positions lol when you start getting up there in age the body does not like that lol. Cleaning those head light is super easy I’ve been using a product called blend 9 you just use glass cleaner to clean the head light first then just spray this stuff on and the head light looks like new and it last a good long time. Takes maybe 3 minutes

I never noticed the oem bumper had open holes where most trucks would have fog lights but I googled it and it doesn’t have any fog lights which seems odd for an “off-road” truck
Love the factory bumper, agree with you it looks how it should. Those LED light bulbs, install with care, make sure they’re aimed correctly. They’re not really designed for those reflector style headlights, mainly the projector ones not to say you can install them in there. I’d definitely recommend removing the hazing too, it makes a surprising difference to light output and will also blind other cars. Keep up the great content, watch every video every day and have been for the past 3-4 years. I know it must take some effort to push this many videos out in a week and the quality of the content is still very much up there!
if you scrub the headlights with plain toothpaste not the gel they will clean up good it is easier than sanding the toothpaste has just enough abrasive to do the job

Mileage on these are something you can take or leave. Well maintained vehicles can last 500,000 miles. Abused no, and long oil change intervals are usually the death. Have a buddy with a 2012 3.5 twin turbo with 300,000 miles. He had to do some work but the rig itself runs like new. He made it like a raptor and if the engine fails, he can get a crate engine for less than the price of a used car. The rig itself is bullit proof and a new one is 70 or 80 grand.

Randy if you want to clean your headlights with out sanding, you won’t believe this but it works, get you off insect repellent, whit sock, spray on your sock kinda heavy, go side to side ,not in a circle, your goin to be amazed

Hey Randy, WatchJRgo posted a video about a week ago of his buddies f150. Water got into the taillight through a crack and messed with the canbus. It shut a bunch of functions off in the truck. I would order another pair of taillights just incase you need to swap the one with a crack if it starts messing with the truck.
You will need the cow scooper bumper for the zombie apocalypse to keep the zombie from flying through your windshield when you run over them :) The factory bumper looks much better though!
first off last video i sent you(on this truck) ford instructions on how to reset the screen.. no need to replace. OH WELL also on the radio bezel theres 2 screws on the bottom by the cigarette lighter also the usb jack on the bottom allows you to upload photos and music to it. old school sync

PS, do these Raptor trucks have fog lights integrated into the bumper? A great transformation from what you purchased orginally. Looking good now.
They do not come with fog lights. But there are a lot of great aftermarket options
The old bumper would have looked better with the winch and light bar IMHO. New one doesn't look bad.

Those wheels are also First gen raptor wheels. They were introduced in 2012 and carried over into the 2nd gen models

If you want zoom to work get forscan and calibrate the camera. IDK if it is an aftermarket camera. There is a LIN calibration.
