  • I don’t know how to describe this video
    I messed up and I didn’t do the things I should’ve done and I’ve really hurt someone.
    I just wanted to make sure everyone has all of the information so you can decide for yourself if doing business with me is the right option.
    I’m sorry to the other person involved, this situation sucks and I can’t imagine the pain they’re in.
    I’m sorry to everyone out there who may be disappointed in me

    I forgot to say in the video the artist wasn’t the one who put the doll together after painting, she was uncomfortable with putting that type of full body vinyl doll together so she had someone else do it and wasn’t familiar with how to fix the doll outside of the tutorial I found on google.
    She did offer suggestions to me and the other person to the best of her ability.

    Honey... it's not your fault you didn't know how to fix the doll. I'm the same, If one of my dolls heads came off right now I would be heading straight to Google. You did everything you could to try and fix it honey... don't beat yourself up love. It's gonna all be okay. 💜
    PS. You're not a scammer sweetie.. you didn't mean to hurt anyone. And yes you can agree you could of kept learning but so could of they and they could of learned to fix it themselves. You did your part by accepting your actions in the situation but honey, you are not a bad person cause of an accident love.. try not to be so hard on yourself hun..

    That woman sounds like a crazy and controlling person. To me her complaints are not adding up! If she didn't ask for a refund months then you are not entitled to give her one now. She should have been crystal clear earlier on and over it. Please don't let this experience steal your happiness too long! God bless you!!❤️💯🤗🙏

    I am so sorry that you are being harassed by this person. You went above and beyond to try to help them and I don’t know many other people who would do that. It seems to me that they are not truly wanting to fix this issue since they refused a refund. You did everything you could to help them. This was not in any way your fault. You are such a sweet person and I know you would never scam anyone. Sending you lots of virtual hugs.

    This broke my heart. I've only just discovered your channel in the past 24 hours but you are no scammer. This situation is a lesson. One to be learnt and applied later in life. It's very admirable to own up to your portion however the burden is not yours to bear alone. 🤗

    I know this is straight forward and some ppl in community may not like it and that's ok...Ugh, I do not like selling dolls! If you must and sometime it is necessary do this: Sell As Is, No returns, No refunds, take photos of doll when shipping it, take photo of the baby in the box, take photo of the box, buy the postage insurance and ship it, whew! Then hope it travels safely to its destination. If the dolls arm fell off during travel I don't feel responsible for it and in two months time the dolls head or arms fall off that is totally on the receiving end. If anyone is being scammed or name slandered its you! Ill buy a doll from you I totally trust you. xoxox:)

    Unless you told her you made the doll, you did nothing wrong. I wouldn't expect you to know how to fix it. Stuff happens. You've done enough and nice of you to try! 💕 Please go easy on yourself

    You didn’t ask, but I’m going to share my opinion. I think that you’ve gotten overwhelmed with the nasty posts you’ve received. I think you are a sensitive person (I am too.), and things going wrong makes people like us panic. It seems like that is how you reacted to begin with. You have a wonderful reputation in the reborn community. Going thru stuff at work also makes life outside work so much harder. It seems to me that at this point you’ve done all you could. I’m not sure what else the person wants you to do. I don’t blame you for setting boundaries at this point. Please don’t be so hard on yourself.

    You cannot control the behavior of others. You have acted honourably and that is enough. There’s no fixing the past. And from what I understand of the situation, you should not have taken the doll back. You bent over backwards trying to help.

    You can’t control other people’s actions & response or the lack of.
    You’re also a human, life is going to happen. No one is perfect. No one should be expected to be perfect.
    You offered a refund. That’s absolutely all that one can do.

    I think you did everything you could. You can't fix the doll, as you said, & if anything you are being extremely ethical by not pretending you can.
    I agree, even if you'd offered to take the doll back & give a refund back in September, she would have refused.
    Yes - maybe you could have done something different (but I don't see what), but you're human, & we all make mistakes.
    All in all, you are a good hearted person.
    I'm learning about boundaries as well (bullying by a stranger last weekend over my family serving in various wars!) & I felt I'd done something wrong, & kept trying to make it better.
    If you're a reader I can recommend some books about boundaries 😊💕
    Be compassionate to yourself. Think about what you'd say to a friend who was in your situation & say it to yourself.
    I wouldn't hesitate to buy a doll from you.
    You love us, & trust me, you are much loved by your community. Don't doubt that.

    Hi, new artist here👋. I've only sold a few dolls so far and they've been to friends and family. I'm very scared to sale to the public because of so many things I hear. Thanks for this video. I learned to offer refunds when there's even a small problem so it doesn't turn into something huge. I'm glad you did this video. I'm so scared to sale 😬 but it's a business so I have to.     You did your best. You gave her options, and she chose what she wanted to do. She could have asked for a refund. You can message me and I can fix her doll for free for you guys if you want. It’s not your responsibility to fix her, especially if you didn’t break her and you’re not an artist.

    That’s crazy that person would expect you to fix her doll that was sold to her. You offered her a refund and she didn’t accept. You have gone above and beyond your duty to fix the problem. Sounds like the problem is that person you sold it too. A miserable person that likes to make you feel bad when obliviously her problem. She should no longer bother or harass you. In fact if she continues to affect your well-being maybe you should start taking legal action against her for harassment. I just saw a doll video from a women that bought a brand new doll and when she was unwrapping the doll from the bubble wrap she said the leg came off. And she buys very expensive dolls and lots of them. So this can happen to anybody no matter how professional the doll artist is. She didn’t blame the doll maker. She just accepted that it happened and things will happen no matter how well a doll is made or packaged. You did your best to resolve it with her and she was incorrect in calling you a scammer. You are a very kind and considerate person. You can tell your that type of person would help out someone and bend over backwards if they needed your help. I just subscribed to your channel a week ago and a I can already tell your a very good and kind human being. Don’t be so hard on yourself. You help out so many people because most people do not have your kindness and such a tender heart as you. That’s why you have so many subs. WoW!! Almost 25k subscribers!! That shows that you are so worth peoples time and you make others day when they watch you!! I think you and your husband are incredibly real and honest and good people. Please don’t let this negative nelly destroy your day or life. She’s got the unkind heart. And I know how you feel we tend to zero on the Negative comments rather then the positive but if your going to be able to live your life, you may need to ignore the ones that hurt you. That lady is a bully. I can’t believe you were even kind enough to do research for her when it was her problem. Once the doll is out of your hands it’s out your control and is now in the control of the person who bought her. Not your fault.     If you know the doll was in perfect condition when you sent it then she probably messed it up herself that’s why she doesn’t want the refund she just wants you to repair it for free. You did the best you could don’t get upset. You’re not a bad person. Sending virtual hugs. 😊❤️

    I really don't think you should beat yourself up and get so upset over this. She could've asked for a refund or asked if it was okay to sell it because you were not able to fix it. It was very nice of you to try so hard to come up with solutions to her problem, but she could have just as easily looked up solutions as well. When I got one of my first reborns, there were things I didn't like or just wanted to change the weight, etc... I looked up how to do it on here (youtube) and ordered parts I needed and fixed the issue I had with the doll all by myself. In my opinion, it sounds like she was just after someone to sabotage and wanted to start stuff with you. That was completely uncalled for as you are a very nice person and so is Chelsea... and unfortunately, nice people tend to be a target for people who want to start trouble.

    Aww...I'm sorry this happened to the doll but I don't see where this is any fault of yours...you didn't sell it knowing the beads would leak. It could have been rough handling in shipping...it could Have happened if you still had the doll. These dolls are so delicate...you did all you can hun....this was unfortunate but not your fault. Feel better! It can happen to any of us!

    There is such thing as a doll doctor where they repair dolls not sure what kind of dolls exactly but I remember going to one when I was younger not sure if their still around but just a suggestion and you did everything you could you put the ball in her court and she dropped it lol this will pass but try not to be so hard on yourself

    Hi, I don’t know you very well, except through the videos that I hear because I have to listen to them I cannot see. But I can see that you love dolls very very much, and I always appreciate how you describe each and everything about the doll that you are showing and that means a lot. I don’t think you’re a scammer. And I do think that you’re being too hard on your self. When you sold the doll the person bought it whatever happened after that, is not your problem. I’m sure that you looked over the doll before sending it to the person I’m sure i’m very sure that you did not know this was going to happen. I feel bad for you. So I’m going to pray for you that God will give you the strength and the hope that only he can give, trust in him he’ll be with you because he knows you didn’t do anything wrong so trust in the Lord and continue what doing what you love doing and be happy if you offered a refund and she didn’t except it that’s not your problem anymore be happy and God bless you we love you.

    What kit is it? My hubby repairs \ helps me assemble the dolls I paint, I bet he could find out how to fix it. Just sounds like the arm needs mending. Its not your responsibility, undoubtedly got damaged in shipping. She shouldn't make you feel bad, you gave 1000%

    Sweetness you don't nothing wrong! You sold an item that she knew u didn't make/paint etc. So it's ALWAYS buyer beware. You were nice enough to try help her the best way you knew how. You DID offer her a refund but at the end she wanted to keep it... I seem to think they just wanted your money & the doll...

    I don't think you are a scammer!!! You offered what you could. Most anyone would not know how to either. You are being so so hard on yourself ❤️. She had the option to take the refund or choose to try to fix it herself.

    When you sell a personal collection doll it should be understood that you weren’t the artist and cannot fix the doll. All you can do is offer a refund, period.

    I'm sorry this happened. You did what you could. You're a collector not a maker. And it sounds like this person wanted a free doll out of you or the artist. She wasn't willing to take anything else that isn't great either. Take Lots of pictures next sale for sure.

      I definitely take lots of pictures always, at least 12-20 photos. Problem was the doll was not broken when I sent her out.

    Please do not beat yourself up over this. You have enough to go through. You really don't know if she had kids playing with the doll, animals, if she was too rough or what. She could have asked to get her money back if it was that bad instead of the hate group tactics. I just know from other people experience and mine. If not happy we usually try to get out money back. Rather it's stated refunds or no refunds

    the doll was not so bad when she did not go for the money. some time this happen in the mail . may be she was thinking that she paid to much and want some money back that happen to but she love the doll and did not want to give her up. that is on her because you want it to give the money back . you did all you could . all she like was to keep the doll and the money to. some people like to do think like this. HOW SAD you did no WRONG. DO NOT GIVE IT MORE LIFE LET IT GO.you are so sweet and love . let it go.

    You have no reason to be sorry. You apologized and offed a refund that's all you can do. Like you I haven't got a clue how to fix anything on my dolls. It took me 4 video's, a tube of glue, and a month to get an eyelash back on my favorite doll and it still doesn't look right. We all love you and your video's. So smile and go make a video with your favorite doll.

      I think unfortunately online things get so blown out of proportion that someone doing their absolute best to be honourable and honest and good can get cancelled because of one misunderstanding like this. ☹️

    You have no reason to be sorry unless you knew about the arm before shipping her out. I would offer a partial refund so at least she can cover the cost of getting the doll repaired, since it sounds like she really wanted to keep the doll. Goodluck! Situations like this are never easy, but stop beating yourself up over it... you will get it figured out and if not, then just move on. You can't change it now. 💝💝💝💝

    I hate to see you so messed up over this. I am only 12 minutes into this and had to pause to comment.
    We all know as collectors that 9 times out of 10, dolls are sold as is. On top of that, you know within your heart how the doll went out to this person. You know that it wasn't leaking beads. That's it hun. You did your part helping them find a solution. Which, you did not have to do, considering the fact that you did not send out a damaged product. Anything could have happened in transit to have this problem occur. Then again, at first, all was good, from what you have said after the doll was received, her messages to you immediately were not letting you know the doll was damaged. Again hun, this is NOT your fault. And I don't think it is something on their end either, where they are trying to blame you. Let's give them a bit of a benefit of the doubt. Ya know? I am leaning more to something in transit and after a bit, it got worse with handling after it reached it's new home. We have to open our minds and think of all possibilities with this.
    We cannot please everyone, we can only do our part and hope for the best.
    Your offer for refund, whether it was then or now....is more than enough....because we all know that doesn't happen in our hobby the majority of the time. In the end, as collectors, when things like this happen, we can chalk it up to a learning experience.
    We love you and I hope you can let this issue go, and not let it bring you down.

    I had a problem with a silicone doll. When the artist said she could not help I did not bug the artist I found away to fix it myself. It is not your responsibility she bought the doll she did not communicate what she wanted. She was not listening when you told her you did not know how to fix the doll.

    i am a dollmaker in occupation. you have done nothing wrong.this can happen to any dolls due to overfilling of glassbeeds. and its no case of refund. this is not considered scam. a joint coming off is not a proof the doll is ruined. i think this sounds like a person regretting her purchase...not an actual fault with the doll.full body vinyls dont leak.

    You did nothing WRONG! You tired to give advice on how to fix the doll. Then you offered a refund. She refused. This is on her not you. You are a sweet kind, sensitive, and caring person. I don't know how to fix dolls either. You did do everything you could. Blocking her was/is BEST for you. You need to forgive yourself and move forward. Plus, we all mess up. You are NOT A SCAMMER.     You did all you could do. If they didn’t want a refund they can’t expect you to fix the doll because you didn’t make it. I’m wondering why it’s taken so long from them to complain again.

    It's not your responsibilty to fix this persons problem with the doll they should have done their own research to fix the doll themselves. I have a doll which the head comes off it has a string system my other reborn came it's leg came off but I got a cable tie for it and fixed the leg. Sorry you are going through this you did offer a refund which they should have taken. Wish you all the best god bless😊

    The only thing you could possibly do in this situation is to offer a refund with the return of the doll. If a refund wasn’t good enough for her then she just wanted to cause trouble for you! If you had refunded her without her returning the doll to you - she would then be the scammer! You have done nothing wrong anyone can see that - she is the trouble maker. Try not to over complicate this situation. She didn’t want to return the doll for a refund. End of story. My guess is something happened during delivery which she didn’t notice until maybe she started to change the baby 🚚 xx

    I don't think you're a scanner. You clearly stated that you're not an artist. And just my opinion, why would someone go back and forth for months trying to fix a doll? She should have accepted the refund off jump. Sounds like to me they're the scammers. Just move on and now you know what to do next time. I wouldn't lose sleep over this. What's done is done. That's the chance you take when buying a used doll.

    Awe! You should not have done more. You offered a refund. It is her option to take it or deal with it. That’s how business works. Walmart offers returns and exchanges, not tailoring services. Don’t get wrapped up in this. You gave her an exceptional option. You can move on.

    Too bad you can’t find the original messages at all! Nothing you can do except keep your logs or conversations where you tried to remedy the problem and move on. You tried to be helpful and you did eventually offer a refund! That is more than most people would had done! Seems she is controlling trying to force you to fix the doll. There is plenty of people that can repair a doll if she did the research. Idk what she wants! You can’t properly fix the doll and risk further damage. For all we know she could had been rough with the arm or gave it to a kid and damaged the arm, especially going from saying it’s a tear then saying it came with the arm ripped off.
    I am a sensitive soul too and people know that and tries to hurt us. But with this, you tried to remedy the issue and she wants what you can’t do which is fix the doll. Doesn’t want a refund either so idk.

    Have you seen the video about a scammer on youtube that inspired by babies posted, she and some others became close to someone who wanted their dolls but then turned against them and cut them off i dont completely understand but watch her video, there are people pretending to get close to you just to get what they want from you. You sold a doll, you are not a reborn artist, was she aware she is getting someone elses doll when she bought it? She is trying to scam YOU, and making you feel guilty.

    I do not think you are a scammer because maybe you did mess up but you did try to make it right and you are not an artist and I probably would have done the same as well as you checked the doll before shipping it so maybe it is when shipping or it is the other person fault.

    You know you are not reborn artist, so it's okay but it would be nice to learn just a little. Even if you are not a artist.just learn the basics. My advice will be is as a reborn artist is to give her refund back . When you get it back try to take it apart.and put her back ls always good to know, a little of everything when you are a doll collector. Hope that helps

      I’m sorry but she refused to accept a refund or to return the doll and I feel that is the most I can do is ask.
      Also this doll was not a basic reborn doll held together by zip ties. It was a full vinyl doll and held together by a string system, it was a bit complicated.
      I deeply apologize for the inconvenience 😣 I promise to try to learn more so that this never occurs again
