My battery health went down to 96% after 95 cycles. Make Oct 23. Started using the phone on Nov 15th 23. I barely use my phone. It went from 100% to 96% in 3 charge cycles. Remaned 100% for over 6 months.

Not gonna lie bro, but you’re missing out on the action button. I have mine set up to do all kinds of crazy things but you wanting it to open apps is truly perfectly possible with shortcuts. I have mine set up to do different actions based on what focus mode I’m in. Even set to trigger an ETA for my wife if I’m connected to CarPlay. You should look into it.
What people never realize is that you cant charge it to 100% and drain it then charge it and when the phone gets hot and then expect battery health to be great because that stuff has a big impact on it. If someone can spend over a grand on an iPhone they can pay monthly for apple care so if long term ownership is an issue just get the battery replaced when necessary. Stability and performance is annoying because it used to be amazing.

To me it's crazy that you're already at 353 cycle count in like 10 months of use! Mine is iPhone 15 Plus and been using since Oct 2023 like you, and I'm at 125 cycles, 99%. It pays to have good charging habits and I use my phone everyday.
I feel I don’t charge my phone a lot but I do realize when I drive everyday I do throw it on the MagSafe mount that charges it so that’s probably premature.

i took it a step further and use a 5w charger and a smart plug. once the iPhone hits 85% a shortcut runs and shuts off the smart plug so it's not charging for no reason. then i just charge it up 10-20% throughout the day if i use it heavier @@Horvath0819
Got my 15 Pro Max on launch day. It has 292 cycles with 91% battery health. I went from upgrading every year, to every other year. I came across a Reddit post where a dude upgraded his iPhone once the latest iOS wasn’t supported. So unless Apple comes out with something crazy, I’m going to do that with this phone since it has everything I’ve wanted in an iPhone.
I was around 85% battery health by this time last year (a few weeks from the new one). This year I cut down wireless charging by A LOT… I’m at 93%… keep in mind here in west Africa it’s hot most of the year and sometimes ur phone gets hot from ambient temperature…
While we’re on the subject, what the eff is with Apple’s lightning chargers? I literally had to replace mine with a Smartish Crown Joule (shoutout to Smartish, they make excellent tech accessories) because the Apple charger was literally all torn up just from regular usage. Wtf?

I’ve used the 80% charge limit for the battery since October when I got it and it’s sitting at 100% capacity at 171 cycles. The charge limit seems to protect the battery well!
98% and 171 cycles. I enjoy my iPhone 15 pro max a lot. I love the battery life, cameras and feel in the hand. However, if I’m going hard on my usage, the battery isn’t the greatest. If I have 5G, 120 htz and always on display, my phone is at 20% by dinner time. At work I use it as podcast both just audio but also on RUclips. Like yesterday 40% was RUclips and 30% iHeart radio and the rest miscellaneous but I had to charge at dinner time. Now if I’m off that day, I don’t use my phone near as much so it’s good from 6am to 9pm with 30-35% left. But it is getting boring (the iOS) if I’m being honest. Been on apple for some time now and they really need to step it up in iOS 18 to keep customers happy.

Also in Georgia and spend some time in rural areas and my S24 Ultra never loses a signal, but my iPhone 15 Pro Max will be sitting on S0S or have 1 bar and data won't load. Really frustrating for a flagship phone, and kind of unacceptable at this price point imo. Appreciate your honesty and practical thoughts in this video!

My battery health is still at 92%. But I got my phone right after they fixed the overheating issue. Since you’ve had yours day 1, the overheating may have affected the battery health early on. For me this is way better than the 14 pro max battery health. I was at 88% by this time last year

I tried the iPhone 15, the 15 plus, the 15 pro, the s24 ultra, the plus, and the regular s24. I keep coming back to the pro max. For me, a lot of the features are negligible. The pro max gives me what I need and nothing I don’t. Actually, I could use the split screen mode. The phone takes great pictures and videos. As for the action button, it’s to mute the phone as well. I’m sitting at 100 cycles and 99% battery life, had the phone since March, beginning of April.
I’m at 91% battery health with 271 cycles. I don’t think it’s because of the actual battery health, I think it’s more so the software but I’ve noticed that my battery life throughout the day has been less good overtime. With similar usage, I used to not have to plug in until about seven or 8 PM when I got home now I have to plug in by four 5 PM.

Yeah that batter capacity has tanked pretty hard on my 15 Pro Max.
I found using a 5w slow charger helps a ton. I’m at 160 cycles and still at 100% battery health

My 15 Promax is at 98% with 257 cycles.
My 15 pro max is at 97% battery health with 320 cycles.
97% battery health 9months in , my battery health is actually performing better than my 13 pro max i previously had it was in the 80s almost 70s

The titanium bezels have definitely been a huge improvement. I use lots of different cases and mine has zero blemishes also!

I got my iPhone 15 pro max in September it was manufactured in August 1 used in September but my cycle count is 260 at 93% with a lot of use.

iPhone 15 Pro has a faulty Bluetooth modem that Apple has been ignoring since launch. They sent me a replacement with the same issue.
