Also got the 15 pro max. Been an android user ever since and still have my android as a spare phone mostly for gaming and stuff while using the 15pm as my dailydriver. This is the 1st iphone I personally bought, since I received a 2nd hand iphone 11 as a gift a fews months ago lol. And all I can say I have been very happy with the experience. Especially with the app optimizations and camera. I do agree with you it heats up but only when I use a magsafe powerbank in my experience. However, it heating up in outdoor usage that I didn't experience and I live in a tropical and very humid country. My only concern is I do hope the battery health doesn't drop really fast even though I'm still at 100% and I have been taking goodcare of it lol.. It's breath of fresh air for me. The only thing I wish they could include is the universal back gesture. Customization is not a major issue for me. Overall 15pm is a very good phone and I may not upgrade until probably the 18-19 unless I accidentally break the device (w/c nver happens to me) or its stolen. Lmao
Great video Terren! I went with the 15PM this year as well and am very happy with it. Not much this year that could get me to upgrade, it just seems like the 16 will just be a minor upgrade to an already fantastic phone. BTW, where’d you get that Spider-Man wallpaper?!
Im an Apple fan boy for long time. But I have to admit that Samsung is doing a good job. Let be honest guys. I’m using both android and Apple and right now my daily driver phone is Fold 6. Which I love it. ❤
I have both the iPhone 15 pro max and S24 Ultra. I actually have the opposite issue with apps. The apps on iPhone don’t run as smoothly as my s24 ultra. The last perfect iPhone was the 13 pro max. I still have mine and it beats both my 15 pro max and s24 ultra.
Nice Informative Video, I'm not happy with not getting AI on iphone 14 pro max due to it was my first premium phone with 1 tb of memory, Especially seeing that SE model coming out in March 2025 should accommodate it.The island feature seemed nice but in retrospect it was hype. Now I'm wondering if you need to wait for 18 or 20 Pro Max to make sure your good.
To the people losing their battery health... stop wireless charging every time going 0 to 100. Coz overheating ur phone is a big reason why battery health decreases. If you're charging at home use usb C and only when u want a quick 50 to 80 boost use wireless or at convenience when you're outside.
I’m not saying it’s not a thing, but I use MagSafe every single day to charge my 15 Pro Max. I’m at a cycle count of 161 and battery health of 99%. My 14 Pro before this was at 300+ cycle count and 98% battery health when I sold it. MagSafe everyday on that one too. I just think there are other things at play other than just wireless charging with people losing battery life.
@@ChrisBartlett are u from a colder region or got aircon wherever u charge it. Overheating the phone causes it, but proper heat dissipation can prevent like having a metal backplate to the charger. Also other things at play are people spending hours on multiple social media apps, games etc.
Can someone who is already using 15 Pro max suggest/advice on whether to Buy 15 Pro max at little cheaper price or wait for 16 pro max ! My main concern is battery life of 15 pro max, I have received mixed reviews on it
Wait for the 16 Pro Max. Bigger screens and smaller bezels, new battery casing that should solve the overheating issue, bigger battery, faster charging, new capture button and higher nits of brightness.
@@jamestribie3387no they need to keep it and just make it stronger it's mainly a software phone first rather than hardware also I think considering what it is the 9 pro XL will hold up decently well
I have been using samsung for years but as a reviewer, don’t hide anything just to please a group of people. In general we all know that apple has better app support.I have tried both ecosystem and personally that’s the main advantage of an iphone but for the most part android is better and more versatile
The performance issue is the reverse for me. I've had more performance issues for gaming/multitasking on iOS than android. Especially long gaming sessions. First 20 minutes are smooth sailing but after that? Yikes. Dropped frames, freezing, force closing, phone getting too warm for the chipset it has etc etc. that aside? I don't mind the 15 pro max. Can't really daily drive it for long but it's more than good enough for the average consumer.
Bro don’t feel bad for admitting iOS apps run better than android apps lol. Be assertive in life and stand by the facts you present. Damn the world has become too soft.. make men great again?
I 100% agree with you although the issue when it comes to RUclipsrs isn't as simple as it appears. I'll use myself as an example. I used Android for 9 years and have been using my 12 Pro Max for the last 4 years. I believe the iPhone is a better phone and iOS is a better operating system. And that's what I say when people ask me. Now take the recent Pixel 9s that were just announced. Multiple RUclipsrs who always use iPhones except when reviewing Androids are currently reviewing them, recommending them and getting paid to do so. But after that review is over you see them back to using their iPhones 24/7. They don't mean what they say when recommending any Android phone as they'll never use one as their primary phone or even just a majority of the time. It's disingenuous. That's not to mention the hate Apple gets just for being Apple or from Android owners. So now RUclipsrs have to tiptoe when they say something on the iPhone or just the iPhone in general does something better/is better at a specific feature. But that's what happens when you have to sell your honest opinion instead of using it freely.
@@equivalentexchangeisalie5726 I agree and noticed that with most youtubers which is understandable for the points you mentioned. They keep on hard selling android and glazing over it saying they have finally switched to android. Then comes the next month after testing it for review or prolly weeks, they go straight back to using their iphones as daily driver Lol.. I've been an adroid user eversince as well and just got the 15pm. And I was surpirsed and really do agree how optimized it is no doubt and really happy with the experience. Android is more versatile, but I don't need most of it's extra features. It's not like I keep my face on the phone 24/7. That is imo
@@MrWarxhe Yes I agree that's half the problem. But I also believe the other half is what I also mentioned. That to make money these RUclipsrs have to be disingenuous and say they recommend these Android phones when they personally would never use them. If they were to be honest and say "it's a good phone but I'll always prefer the iPhone" then it would be less of an issue. But then they would make less money as people who don't wanna hear that would stop watching it. Even though these RUclipsrs actions already say that. The only big RUclipsr I can think of that even uses Android as much as iPhone is MKBHD funnily enough.
@@equivalentexchangeisalie5726 Yeah exactly. All of them have an iphone in rotation at least. Mkbhd has an Android and an iphone in his rotation. Plus the thing that people have to understand is that, these RUclipsrs always have phones in rotation. They aren't keeping phones for 3-4 years like us. Any new phone is going to look good for a year. Or a few months but what about longevity.
Sticking with the 15 Pro Max
