I love that the cat was 'helping' throughout the entire build. Pets are awesome. I'm not in the market for something like this, but overall I'd say it looks good, and seems flexible enough to cover a lot of varied needs when simming. Nicely done as always, Noob. :)
Had alot of questions about this thing as they had a "military/boeing" version I wanted. Thank you so much for hitting this one. Love the work. Your always in depth and real about what the product is and what its for. Mad respect, man
I only just discovered this product exists, and - like clockwork - there was a video about it by you. Thanks for the overview, it really drives home that the tag is worth it in this instance.
Im thinking of getting this, both the seat and the stand. I allready have a 4040rig for my racing needs, and i do have mounts for my flight hardware, but having to remove the racing pedals amd shifter and installing the flight stick and pedals every time i want to switch is a hassle, takes time, and increases the chance of a stripped bolt or t-nut. It has happened more tham once that my rig was setup for racing, i wanted to fly but didnt feel like spending 10min to convert the rig to "flying-mode" to fly for a few hours, only to then have to convert the rig back to racing. This set would alleviate all of that and allow me an easy swap from race to flight by just getting out of 1 rig and into the other. Since i do all my simming in vr, i dont need to move the rigs in and out of position behind a monitor either.
That’s sweet it’s definitely on the wish list. Building one isn’t out of the question though. Thanks for the review I’ll revisit for pre purchase for sure.
Thanks for the review. I have the Wheel Stand 2.0 for load cell pedals and a DD wheel which was £179. I’m not sure why this stand is over double as it’s fundamentally the same but with a few extras for keyboards etc. I’ll stick with my Monstertech Clone self build desk mounts and Ikea chair for now.
And I have a question; is it possible to screw the seat, for example, "game hero", to some stand or frame, i.e. disassemble, separate the actuator along with the wheels and screw only the seat with adjustable backrest to, for example, a flight simulator stand, and if so, what kind should I look for?
You're going to need a bigger basement! I like how compact that is, and as I no longer have a basement that is important. However, I also see the benefit of the MT stuff that is flexible and expandable.
do the pedal drill holes line up with racing pedals? And the center mount as well, do the drill holes line up with racing wheel base? Thinking if this frame would fit as a flight/racing hybrid rig without too much swapping around and modding
@@NOOBIFIER1337 I’ll have to watch again and pause it. I have a P3 and a P5. I could have sworn the chassis in the video is too small to be a P8. Now I need to know.
Great review. Do you know what the height is from the ground to the lowest possible setup of the top surface? I'm worried it will block my TV and I don't trust the product dimensions. Thanks again; super channel.
The top surface is very adjustable, so it can be placed so low that it won’t be usable. It’s a hard question to answer because of this variance from setup to setup.
Can anyone tell me the sitting height of the flight seat PRO? I am not able to find that info anywhere and want to use one at my desk and need about 50cm/20inch sitting height.
But their price on the Flight Seat Pro (that they might or not had taken the main idea, from an email that I've sent to them and already posted my proof on twitter) priced at 649€ is still high, yes they did have a great attention to detail and are awesome for that, but still, only that doesn't justify the price even of the Flight Seat Pro option, this should be at least a 6/7/8xx€ final price for the whole combo, not 1200€, that's not a worldwide entry point, yes it might be for SOME 1st World Countries, but even for those, on a time after covid and other events that made prices escalate, it's still (very) high, because for those values, It would made more sense to give for a motion rig like those of DOF Reality and be on an extra next level for much cheaper than their their next level prices. Edit: And also thank you very much for your review and service.
Most regular folks are looking at a budget of 600 all in... not just for the rig. I fully understand that we are a niche market however the entry level is pretty sparce.
When sitting in the chair, from the bottom of your butt to the floor; - How high would you say that is? Also, can the seat height be adjusted? I will be using ONLY the flight seat pro with TM TPR pedals on a carpeted floor.
Thank you for the in-depth review Noobifier! Question... Do you know if the "Flight Seat Pro" will fit into the "Wheel Stand 2.0"? I know the "Wheel Stand 2.0" is made for driving, but it looks like the same dimensions as the "Flight Stand Pro". I currently own the "Wheel Stand 2.0" and I'm looking to add a seat.
Not a fan of the chair itself, but I do like their Stand Pro. You could get a Monstertech chair and/or chair mounts and use this as your desk if you're on a budget.
I've got the seat rig only and it is terrible. Alpha throttle quadrants won't mount to the plate. The seat is uncomfortable, seat slide adjuster gets in the way and hits your left leg. It's very heavy and expensive for what it is, I think the design is poor. The Good part is It's modular, but then so are many others, the assembly instructions are brilliant, there are plenty of spares and delivery to me was swift. I certainly wouldn't endorse this product. But that is my opinion and I had to pay for mine.
Don't use the word 'investment' to describe anything related to gaming. By definition gaming is not even close to an investment in any way. Having said that, thanks for the review. I would have liked a comparison however to the cheaper product which is also on my list, the Next Level Boeing Simulation rig. Is this one better or worse than that? Pros and cons? The Pro Seat and stand cost about $400 CAD more. I can easily 'afford it', but that doesn't mean I want to spend that much on gaming. I'd rather put that money into my next Pontoon boat 😉
Hello I like flying DCS I have all of DCS F18 Hornet Hardware and my main question is how would you connect winwing Super Taurus throttle to the chair ?

With what has happened lately I wonder if NLR saw a drop in sales for any of their brands carrying the Boeing name.
Thanks for the review, N00b! I love seeing more budget friendly options. And this seems to offer a great value.

MT MTS Flat out crushes it for adjustability and future. Its stronger, better and better looking... but it is also 3x $
How would you solve the lack of armrests? Neither this nor their Boeing chair offer official armrest support. 😢

They most;y do, it’s easy to drill too.
would you also review the Next Level Racing Boeing Edition Sim Pit ? love your work :P
I've been torn between this and their all in one flight cockpit. I would love a video of the other for detailed comparison
I can ask them if that could be a thing. I don’t think however dollar per value is anywhere else. I was quite impressed.
Sry but the cute cat took all my focus xD
There is nothing cooler than watching a Sphinx pandiculate (especially its claws)!😸😸 P.S. Excellent review, as usual👍👍
Is that a Thermaltake P3 chassis build mounted to the wall?
It could be a P8
