    Bro I didn't know you had to weave the loose yarn into the project, I just tied a knot and cut it off 💀

    • @BloxyMelonio
      @BloxyMelonio Год назад +73

      im a knitter and i do that too, so when i finished my first crochet project i also just tied it and cut a knot but it looked different since when i knit i usually sew it together so it gets hidden 😭

    • @sas_191
      @sas_191 Год назад +61

      for example you made a top and then you cut the loose yarn off and after a couple of wears, you wash your top. during the wash the knot can untie and undo your work. that’s why i either tie an unhealthy amount of knots or just weave in the loose yarn (much neater). trust me, i know this from experience aha

    Love this video. 😊 We need more videos showing weaving in the tails! People make videos and by the end boom they show this beautiful finished product, but regret to inform they spent 30 minutes weaving in a billion tails!!!

    You know what would be awesome..if you took a bunch of those tiny squares and then combined them together to make a rlly cool patterned bag or blanket(kinda like a quilt) maybe it’s just me, but I think so😃

    The way you tied it is so much easier than what I’ve been doing. Same way just such a smoother motion. One fluid motion instead of making it a knot the basic way. Thank you!

  • @headron66
    @headron66 Год назад +3

    I noticed you used your hook to weave in your tails. I do the same, using a smaller size hook, saves time and I always weave in as I go through a project so the yarn is crocheted over. It won’t go anywhere if you do that. Far better than getting to the end of a project and sitting for hours weaving in tails!!! I’ve seen many folk finish a project but never getting around to weaving in their tails making them have many ufo’s because of that last step. Weave and go, your project takes a Labour of love, finish it!!
