The only explanation I can come up with for why each climax song are so interchangeable with each game is because ... Bayonetta. That's it. It's Bayonetta; every fight is a stage, she's the star, and like she said - "As long as there is music; I'll keep on dancing!"
personally I think Bayonetta 1 had the best ost just look at Fly Me To The Moon, Lets Hit The Climax, Mysterious Destiny, Battle for The Umbra Throne, Father Balder, The Greatest Jubilee, Sapienta, Red and Black. not saying Bayo 2 is bad since we have bombs like Moon River, The Legend Of Aesir, Alraune, Tomorrow is mine same with Bayo 3 I think its only issue is that it relies WAY to much on remakes of old songs and the actually new songs arent as impactful
I would go a bit deeper. What makes Bayo 1's music so great is how unique it feels. Again, the entire trilogy is full of amazing music... But Bayonetta 1 has a style that is pretty unique and i've never heard on another game. Meanwhile, many Bayonetta 2's songs feel like some generic God Of War game, like they went ''oh yeah, put some random orchestra and choir in there'', and with Bayonetta 3 they relied a lot with musical things Platinum already did on Nier Automata/Astral Chain (which i prefer much more than having random choirs and orchestra's like 2, but still doesn't fit that style Bayonetta 1 has). In Bayonetta 1, bosses and normal stages were clearly composed by the same composer, while in 2 and 3 it was a bunch of people, that's why it also feels sometimes super random. But still, the entire trilogy has amazing music.
No. Bayonetta 2 and 3 have the best osts, and honestly I struggle to chose who's best between them. Litteraly every single one of Bayo 2's osts is an incredible piece. Moreover it's the only game of the three to have clear "phases" in the music of the bosses, which gives them an evolution as a whole piece. I could start enumerating all the goated tracks like you did but we'd be here all day. Meanwhile Bayo 3 doesn't quite hit as reliably as Bayo 2, but the sheer diversity and personality of the whole tracks makes up for it. Moreover some tracks are clearly on paar with the best of the franchise : Dark Eve, Ride on Gomorrah, The Demon Rider, Red Moon, Catastrophe, Gh()st, Queen Magic, Red Lupus, Battle for the Umbra throne(remix), _Night Shadows Dancing_ , Fertile Rondo, The beginning of the end are for examples among the best ones. (and no it doesn't only relies on the old tracks. It does reuse a few leitmotivs, but a lot of the new pieces Meanwhile Bayo 1, despite also having goated tracks that you did mention, overall has less of these than the two others. Mysterious Destiny isn't that good too, it does its job as a battle theme, but to listen to as a standalone piece it's almost annoying. Riders of the light is much more pleasant to listen to afa combat themes are concerned. Similarly, you mentioned Sapientia in your list, because it's the only one of the 4 cardinal virtues' theme that's actually satisfying to listen to as a standalone piece (except maybe lustitia for the sheer weirdness of it). Not saying that a piece needs to be pleasant to listen to in order to be of quality, I can certainly admire the purpose of these songs and the way they portray the nature of the angels extremely well, but tbh there are parts of Fortitudo and Temperentia's theme that I simply find excruciatingly infuriating, like I physically want to hurt them (which kind of is the goal in a boss theme, but not very pleasant as a standalone piece). Now I'll certainly give credit to Bayonetta 1 for giving us the best ost in gaming : You May Call Me Father. But overall the ost doesn't come close to the amount of quality of the second game's.
@@Chivo317 Overrated* It's ok. Of all the songs from the Bayonetta franchise this is the least good tho. Fly Me To The Moon, Moon River and Moonlight Serenade are obviously better. Whispers of Destiny is light-years better, and Tomorrow is Mine is catchier and doesn't get old nearly as fast as Mysterious Destiny does.

Hmmm, can't say it hits for me.
This one only synced in the beginning I think ppl need to take off the rose colored glasses....the second opening definitely worked tho
Welp I’m early :)
*No offense, but I don't remember Bayonetta 3's Cereza pulling moves like these ever.*
none taken, i personally dont care for christian mingle bayo
Yeah. 😂😂😂
B3 Bayonetta is too cleaned up rather than exotic and outlandish compared to how she was portrayed in the last two games
