    Ahhhhhh, this is amazing!! I took a very basic piano class years ago and have been teaching myself from then on... I've always wondered what people meant when they said, "play the 1". Or what is the 7? Thank you!! I feel so enlightened!! Praise Jesus!!! 🙌 lol

    Thank you Warren. I’m glad to be back. I have been teaching a Bible study series for 13 months. Now that I’ve finished; I can focus on learning your material without interruption ( at least that’s what I’m hoping😊)

    Prof, honestly I must confess to you that of "all" you've got a very distinct teaching ability/potential/ talent. Whenever you tutor particularly beginners, you make it slow & steady and detailed...
    This tutorial just sink into my cerebrum... Kudos👍

    Hi warren, when do you use a minor chord to harmonize a melody? I know we can use all the primary chords to harmonize the whole scale but I’ve been confused on how or when to use the secondary chords to harmonize a melody within the diatonic scale.

      The best way to learn this skill is through studying the chord progressions of other songs so you can see how minor chords are used. That said, offer times you can substitute a major chord for its relative minor; you can substitute the 1, for the 6, 4 for the 2, and the 5 for the 3.
      Again, by studying songs you’ll get a better understanding of this.

    Really great lesson Warren. Very clear yet concise lesson. As a side question, how did you do to have that background image in the top half of your video frame - it's really nice.

    • @PianoLessonwithWarren
      @PianoLessonwithWarren  4 года назад +1

      Acoustic Gasy I record I don’t of a blue screen then replace the the background with the image.

      Piano Ghod the process is the same as the major scale, once you learn the minor scale.
