Materials:
1. Old book (Novel)
2. White sand, sea urchin shell, Turtle toy, coral, shell, aquarium rocks
3. Food container
4. 2 inches thick Extruded Polystyrene foam sheets
5. Acrylic paint (ochre, raw umber, burnt umber)
6. Release agent spray
7. Epoxy Resin and Epoxy Hardener (1.5 liters)
8. Alcohol ink (Blue,Aqua,Red)
9. Liquid silicone rubber and Silicone rubber Hardener
10. Epoxy adhesive
11. Craft stick
12. Kitchen lighter
13. Paint brush
14. Eva Foam Sheet (2mm thick)
15. Gas Mask (while resin pour and hot wire foam cutting)
16. Gloves
Tools:
1. Weight Machine
2. Hobby knife
3. Electric Foam Cutter Pen
4. Egg beater
5. Scissor

If there was some sort of nature sounds that could be heard after opening it, that would be pretty cool. Sound and sight therapy.
Stirring silicone with a whisk is honestly the bravest thing I've ever seen someone do

@@aztecthegrim6634 because a whisk will create bubbles and If there is one thing that can ruin a silicone mold , it will be air bubbles that can create little holes and uneven services
what you should stir it with then?

I was thinking sorta the same. Imagine having some futuristic archaeologist finding this, and the things they'd come up with as to it's history. A history of the past they THINK may be, but isn't at all. Lol

This was very interesting, however, I think the finished product would have looked a lot better if you had added some darker brown, and some black, to the book, and if you had polished the "page" part of the resin, because that would have made it crystal clear, so you could see inside it with the cover closed. Still, it was a nice tutorial 👍

the artificial aquarium is pretty, but i have no everyday use for that yet that i can think of, but the cover however, i have tons of daily professional organizers that i'd love to spruce up a little, make it look like i'm carrying to a business meeting an ancient spell tome straight out of the lord of the rings. with an official-looking family seal.

You should've mixed the sand with resin first to avoid fall out. When you took the resin piece out of the mold some sand fell out. Other than that, this is really great.

My exact thought too. And polish the sides to make them transparent as well. Just a stylistic choice. Otherwise it was pretty neat.

Imagine making a series of nature books just like this one, featuring jungle, sky & human dioramas. Also sci-fi or alien/outer world complete with neon or blue lighting effect. A very shocking revelation that this video isn't as popular as the others on your channel. This one book can open a lot of opportunity for a series of the same but different content on this XD

Never saw such a beautiful epoxy resin project till date. Actually we see many different types of proportions added for epoxy resin and hardener. Is it because the end user products are different brands? What is the brand of epoxy resin and hardener that you use. Which ones in market are good for such clear glass effect like in your art piece. I see that most of them have equal proportions of them added.
