You guys could make a first chair string library with full articulations for bass, cello, viola and violin, and name it Cinestrings Solo, that would be awesome.
was just poking around, but dang mike... I really like that sync to downbeat feature! now make a 500 gb John Williams piano library XD 98 mic positions... and don't forget the blue ribbon microphone that listens to the bubbles in a freshly opened and forgot about can of PBR left in the balcony. kind of crazy, cinematic studio brass just came out, and I cant help but feel like it's nothing really exciting over cinebrass… I mean it sounds good - slightly different room, probably "better legatos" but with less dynamic range overall... but as much praise as the library gets(and ill probably pick it up next year anyways since I have css/csss) I cant help but compare it to cinebrass toe to toe... That's pretty impressive if you ask me...
I know I'm an eternity late, but I wonder if there's a workaround to a problem I have: Let's say I need a run in G major that ends on a C. That would be a C lydian, but I don't think this library includes modes, right? Is there a way to achieve this without resorting to double recordings + crossfades?
Can the run end on a whole note that could be blended with the melody? Like on the beginning of a song or in a song. I am not sure how ending on a fast 16th note can be used. I own hollywood winds and have to fade the runs. Thanks for your advice
Hey Mike, is there a reason that this library is not included in Musio? Any plans on adding the runs patch in it? I was really hoping to get this one! Thanks!
That sync to downbeat would be such a time saver if you had that for other things having to do with a crescendo as well. Harp gliss, cymbal roll, timpani roll, wind run, snare roll, gran cassa roll, etc.
I own this, but I've always have a problem blending the last accented note into the rest of the composition. I wish it wasn't as strong as it is. Still love the library.
Can't find it on your website to purchase- is it not ready yet? Perhaps you should mention it in the video coments- when it might be available and for what price.
I'm kind of disappointed you can't just pick the notes you want rather than just scales and modes ... But i guess it's basically just a sample of the actual run ..... Still if there was a way to get the good quality with it I would get it
As a violinist, I must say these are some of the cleanest string runs I've heard in a sample library.
Hollywood baby XD

they did it ;D hehe i feel accomplished.
i've got the runs...need to go to the bathroom to let some atonal Rips out
Another truly excellent and very useful library! As always, very well done, guys!
As a musician I feel so proud to say cinestrings are very nice to compose anything
That downbeat feature is EXTREMELY COOL!!! How many times have I wanted something like that? A gazillion?!
8:00 PSYCHO!!!!!!!

Awesome update! I've really desired RUNS patches of CineStrings!

Have this library and it works! Also works as a run then to legato with other libraries.
This is a just "Violin Runs" Library, right? No Violas, Celli, Basses? Or did I miss something?
i have the same question.... why not call it "CineViolins Runs"
because they did not want to. duh

What is your controller on the Mac keyboard? Is it a midi controller? Can you tell me what product it is?
Can we perform runs over custom scales? That will help in my buying decisions
@Álvaro González are double harmonic scales supported?

Can I have runs in melodic minor and harmonic minor scales with this library??
this is nice, sounds as good if not better than 8Dio's
