Thank you for another great video-I like your own twist on the riders names....it is not always easy to get them right! But at least you try-during TDF you will be the winner with the danish names and we will see how the polish english swiss german and belgian will be doing with the danish names LOLOLOLOL
Good job Cyclingdane....So Peter Sagan got Covid today....Does he have to isolate for 14 days now ? That means missing the TDF....And heard Carapaz is going to EF Education- Easy Post....It better be true !
Feel sorry for Sagan. That's the 4th time he's had it. Guess they have to stop the fans at the side of the road in the TdF for the front runners who might make it there and all the other riders.
LOL. Flower Pot Trophy? Edit - I looked it up: “Winner of the final stage of this year's Tour of Slovenia will get the Situla of Novo mesto. Bronze situlae are the most important archaeological findings and reason that put Novo mesto among the most important prehistoric sites. Situlae art, which began to flourish in the 7th century BC in northern Italy, south-east Alpine region and Istria, was interrupted by Celtic invasion of these territories. Its importance lies in the artistic depiction of human and animal figures that were hammered out and engraved into thin sheets of bronze”
A country with the population of a city the size of Houston TX has produced the two top GC riders who can simply ride away from the best riders in the world. And we’re cool with that. No one thinks that maybe they’ve found something new and undetectable. Just wanted to offer another viewpoint.
Dude, the top three or four Slovene riders are in different teams. Do you seriously think that Slovene riders are using “something new and undetectable” and are only sharing it with their countrymen? And to add that all head trainers and medical staff are all clueless as to what’s going on? BTW, have you heard of Luka Dončič and Anže Kopitar? Already legends of basketball and ice hockey. Do you still want to go down the “how is it possible for such a small nation” path?
Slovenia is a sporting nation that is always among the best when it comes to medals per capita on olympics and has many world or european champions in individual and team sports. Beside that cycling is super popular here and terrain is perfect for training. So no they didnt find something new and undetectable lol. Also if something like that would exist you can believe that big countries would have it first
Well, look at the terrain there in Slovenia, it’s super hilly with decent roads plus the weather is usually agreeable for cycling. If anything TP might use an altitude room or altitude-simulating tent which I believe is still UCI legal. It would be interesting to see his wattage figures and also test results for VO2 max on a modern testing platform (variable gradient treadmill as opposed to an old-school stationary bike).
Gratulacje Pogacar 🌞 Pogacar & Majka super team . POLONIA 🇵🇱🚲🇵🇱
Great job, thecyclingdane! You did such an awesome job covering this tour. Started at the bottom now you’re here!!
Congratulations on 23k subs!
Great recap on all stages, thank you.
This guy is so good. Holy shit
It would be interesting to see what he’s using for gearing this stage - 53-39 and then maybe 12-25?
Pogacer has epic killer instinct

Haha exactly! We all know how to pronounce Jonas Vingegaard now and it’s like nails on a chalkboard when I hear Ant over at Peacock pronouncing it 😂
Super stage, he looks good for the tour defence
4th .....Not on the podium today, I know how Mecgez feels now :(
Re: points classification ranking: the tiebreak is GC classification.
Since Pagacar won the GC, he also wins the points classification.
Yeah that makes sense
On 🇸🇮 tv feed it was said, Pogačar has won more stages than Majka.
@@mugen806 no, both have won 2 stages
Very cool Scott, glad you got video rights for it.💪🍻
Thanks 👍 Glad you liked it and yes it was a nice surprise :)
Wow, a video, and very well selected, good comment, even if there may be a mistake in a quotinglist, never mind. Keep on going, i'm very pleased!
looks like he is no friend with Mohoric...
KOM is decided by count back if equal points. Since Pogacar got more KOM points on the last stage, doing count-back it means he is ahead.
Mezgec was pissed because race director's car was giving some draft to the leader group. Big dent to the otherwise well organized race.
Thats true forgot to mention that
Was wasn’t Pogacar eligible for the young rider classification in the Slovenian tour ?
long love @thecyclingdane
Here, here!! All hail thecyclingdane! 🎉
😂 😉

Cheers for that didnt know
Matej Mohorič not Morhič!
This is my long quest to try and pronounce it correct lol apologies
Pogi's training rides are harder than this.
I follow his strava. Not real power numbers though.
✌️🇸🇮♥️
Pog got the red jersey because he had more stage wins
Pogacar only wins when his hair is hanging out the top of his helmet. Aero gains
facts haha
He must on the juice
Lance Pogachar ? I hope not
The true gladiators agony huh?
Holy doping...I mean great finish Lance
🤡
Do do do ping
🤡

I said what I said. And the rationalizing has begun. Just like it did with Lance. And Mark McGwire. Let’s circle back in a few years.
