Did both tests. Both hurt sitting up. Ankle over leg instantly hurt. Clicking always happens when lifting and lowering leg but the click doesn't hurt. 8 years this has been going on. Sitting in a car for long periods of time and trying to get up after is painful as well.
Oh dang. Sorry to hear that. 8 years is a long time to deal with it. The good news is that most people can improve despite having 2 positive tests. They just need to find the right starting point. Is your pain constant? My pain is 24/7, and never goes away😞 did research in my language as well, and is very clear that it is a bone growth and nothing can fix it but surgery.
Hey i wanted to ask something When i lie down and try to bring my hip up and my right hip would come up staightly but my left hip would come up for abit and would fell in the left direction, please answer is it hip impingement or hip flexor pain.
You guys are literally thee best 😩🥺 discovered you today and ig my. I'm already a sub ..I've had hip issues for a while now especially because I've had joint issues due to sickle cell anaemia, most if the time I just blamed it on the illness and was too reluctant to research more or try finding out what was the cause of this pain cause in my head I felt that immediately I speak up them Drs, be like you need hip replacement surgery..and it's been a fear but the pain..oh my when simply walking up the stairs or trying to get my right leg on the bed first has been so sever ..I'm glad I came across you thanks for the diagnosis, I'll visit a Dr here in my country soon possibly a physio therapist I surely Hope they're as good as you🤞🇿🇲much love from Zambia.
I think I have hip impenitent but it’s different where I can’t lift leg straight out to my side? I’ve been doing exercises and it’s changed my pain somewhat but it is not the same pain points you show, no hurting from bending or squats but it hurts like hell if I try n do side leg raises, that one leg can’t go up very far? Crap!!

Not this video the free gift in the description. On the hip flexor webinar I was confused. From 6:51 to 7:45, he said you’ll be misinformed and I could be looking at a easy win. So would that hip or back problem?
I feel As the sitting Activates the pain. I can wake up no pain all day but once I sit in my car and drive for more than 10 20 minutes the pain comes but I can get out the car walk around go to the gym pain goes away. And when the pain is there sometimes I do feel it wrap around my right hip going around towards my back

Hello. Recently I was training and did back extensions, which has really never been a problem for me if my form is correct. I noticed that later on that same day I had some lower back/hip pain on my left side that was like a dull ache. Took ibuprofen, helped a little, but the next day it was worse. It got so bad that even bending over was painful as well as just sitting down. I did the tests to see if I had pain and very little. If not impingement, then what else can cause this kind of pain? Thanks.
It could be A LOT more. Get the new book I wrote about the hip groin region. It will provide a lot of clarity. www.p2sportscare.com/product/understanding-hip-diagnosis-book/

hi there. So at 3:01 you are saying you feel the pinch, what does it mean though? Having hip impingment indeed? And at 5:28 you are saying "popping and clicking"....so having the clicking refers to labrum or hip impongment? And at 5:38 i dont feel the pinch? What does that mean? Thanks guys!
It will feel pinching, not like a stretch. PAINFUL Popping and click can be a labrum There are a lot of reasons for hip pain that we did not cover. These are just the common ones that people have heard about. This month we are offering a free 10 min Zoom call to answer any questions you have to make sure working with us is worth your time and money. Contact us here www.p2sportscare.com/contact-form-youtube/
When you say labrum issues involves "painful popping and clicking", does that mean the pop or click itself is painful (*pop* -> "ow!"), or the motion/position of the leg or hip as a whole is generally painful and is also accompanied by popping and clicking?
The pop creates an ow. Motion can be restricted as well but not all is always painful. Note there are different types of hip labral tears so not all with act the same. Work with us directly and we can help sort it out
I never had any pain in my hips and suddenly over the last few months I developed sharp pains in my hips when walking/running. If it's actually a bone deformity causing the impingement, wouldn't I have noticed years ago? Thx.
That is a great question. People with bony deformity WITHOUT pain is very common. One meta analysis study showed over 40% of professional hockey players without hip pain had deformities.... all without pain. Long story short, there is more to it that the finding of impingement. Good rehabilitation and coaching tends to work
I tried those two tests. In the first one, I felt the pinching and it went away when I did the curl up. In the second one, I had no discomfort until I did the curl up. Then I felt the pinching. Could this still be hip impingement?
Thats a good question. We could perform some other tests like this to figure it out. While these 2 tests are a good starting point, there are a lot of other tests that are more specific to figuring it out... but you would need someone to guide you through them. They are more complicated. If you want some help just email us and we can set something up to get your on your way! Info@p2sportscare.com
How you know if it has labral tears? I got diagnosed with FAI in my left hips after the Orthopaedics check my X-ray but he doesn’t really explain me deeply what’s FAI. He doesn’t told me what kind a pincer or cam he told me to get an MRI with contrast. My hips right now still hurting I’m doing some stretches I hope will help. Does Chiropractor helps the hip impingement?
I wouldn't know if all chiropractors can help with hip impingement but I know ours do... and our coaches are experts in helping people exercise around the pain.
Arthrogram‘s are not required for the diagnosis of FAI. Typically a thorough physical examination with possible need for x-rays can assist in the diagnosis. Typical course of treatment is rehabilitation.
