Nice video, funny I’m coming from a turbo Levo comp and eying the relay. You’ve answered a lot of my questions. I just don’t know if I want the alloy or the gx carbon. I really like the pnw build but in carbon that’s almost $3k over the alloy version 🫣

I rode the levo for years and loved it but I felt like I was pushing its limits. Depends on what you’re riding. If you’re wanting to get more comfortable on rowdy terrain, hitting bigger jumps and drops, then I 100% recommend it. You’ll feel like you went from a B rider to an A rider. Personally, I like the feel of allloy bikes better on the downhill. They feel more stable. I only go carbon if I’m really trying to drop lbs for uphill/XC terrain. Thanks for the comment and watching!

How’s the range on your alloy? Miles/elevation

So far seems pretty decent. I’ve done some rides where I leave it on green and can ride it for several 15mi/2k elevations days and others that are longer, single day rides where I had it on purple the whole time. I’d say it’s max life is around 30mi with 5k of elevation. More miles if less elevation.

Forgot to tell you I’m 145lbs with all my gear.
Just got off a ride 13miles 3500ft elevation gain. Rode in blue the whole way and still have 2 out of 5 bars left. Hope that helps

Cool, sounds sweet. I have a sentinel and typically do 3-4 hour rides so being fit and light at 145 ibs this sounds like it can pull plenty of laps, especially if you had an extra battery. I travel too so having it removable is a huge plus, what's the wattage of the charger and charge time? Wondering between the Relay and kenevo sl for lots of dh use, heard specialized has good support and people saying the fazua motors having issues, not sure what to go with though since transition bikes are awesome.
