      There are marginal gains. If the $$ was the same the 2024 does have a slight advantage. I think for most people the few hundred you will save with the older model is probably the way to go.

      It's tough to compare the picture quality if the frame to other tvs because of the matte finish... i think you'll get better colors and an overall better picture but it may look "softer", not as bright and dynamic as some of the TVs will glossy panels. Overall it's a step up in my opinion.

    • @SamsungSupportGenius
      @SamsungSupportGenius  6 месяцев назад +2

      I haven't come across the clouding issue personally - my tvs or the installers I work with. Im not saying it cant happen but I think it's not likely.... my thoughts in the Frame (overall) => I think it's a great tv to blend into your decor. Living room/Front room/ Dining room, anywhere it's important to not have tv as the focus of the room... but it's never going to have A+ picture quality. I'm an audio guy when it comes to home theater so it's fine with me but you are going to have to compromise. Is it OLED and the fabulous picture or Frame and the great aesthetics, I think either choice is a good one.

    • @SamsungSupportGenius
      @SamsungSupportGenius  5 месяцев назад +2

      @@jatingarg9175 it's very easy. The TV has ARC or Optical for audio. One thing to think about on that front with the Frame specifically... because all of the audio ports are on the One Connect Box if you have a soundbar it also would connect to the One Connect Box. If you have the box close to the TV there are no issues but if the box is in a cabinet or rack far from the TV it would make connecting a soundbar a little tricky.

    @jeffsalat9775 Месяц назад

    Summarized transcript: "Welcome back, RUclips! Today, we're diving into a comparison between the brand-new 2024 Samsung Frame TV and its predecessor. The previous model was released in 2022 and carried over into 2023, so it's been around for a couple of years. Now, Samsung has introduced the 2024 model, designated as the LS3D, while the older model is the LS03B.
    Looking at the two TVs side by side, you might notice that the 2024 model on the right appears taller. However, this is adjustable; both models allow you to change the height of the TV using a switch on the feet, which is especially useful if you have a soundbar in front of the screen. In terms of design, these two models are nearly identical. The dimensions, bezels, mounting brackets, matte screens, and even the One Connect box are all the same. You’d be hard-pressed to tell them apart when mounted on a wall, whether in art mode or completely turned off.
    The key feature of the Frame TV, of course, is its Art mode and anti-glare matte screen. To demonstrate, I’ve set up the TVs in a bright room with plenty of sunlight. You can clearly see the difference the matte screen makes compared to a standard TV screen. The matte finish significantly reduces glare, which is a huge benefit in well-lit rooms. This feature remains unchanged from the 2023 to the 2024 models.
    Now, let's talk about some of the differences, though they are minimal. First, the remote control has been slightly updated. The 2024 remote is a bit smaller, and while it retains most of the same buttons and the solar charging feature, the Multi-View button has been removed. Both remotes still have an IR sensor for power control, which can be blocked with your hand if you have multiple TVs close to each other.
    Moving on to the interface, there’s a new "Daily Plus" feature on the 2024 model, which acts as a hub for smart devices and other connected services like remote PC access and health apps. However, most other menu options remain the same, with only slight visual updates.
    In terms of picture settings, a new feature called "Color Booster" has been introduced in the 2024 model, although I haven’t had a chance to test its impact on picture quality yet. Another change is that the "Picture Size" setting is now grayed out unless a source device is connected, which is different from previous versions.
    There’s also a new "Media Switch" setting in the 2024 model, which allows for quicker switching between AV streams and different frequencies, reducing delays when changing content sources.
    Lastly, the 2024 Frame TV has been Pantone color certified, which ensures color accuracy, and there's a power-saving feature in Art mode that adjusts the TV's frame rate to conserve energy.
    If you’re considering upgrading from the previous model, the differences are subtle but potentially useful depending on your needs. If I missed anything or if there’s a specific feature you’d like me to cover in more detail, leave a comment below, and I’ll do my best to address it. Thanks for watching, and don’t forget to subscribe for more Samsung TV content!"
