This was so detailed and informative I definitely learned alot and I can tell how passionate you are as an OB/GYN PA! Thank you for sharing!!
Had a shadowing experience in the OR and I think I’ve found my niche. I’ve been watching all the videos, doing my research, EVERYTHING! Looking to be an RNFA now!
Thank you so much for the insight! I'm still in my didactic year, so this is really insightful for what I have to look forward to. Can't wait for the shorts!
I am a CSFA for Transplants and I absolutely love my career! Thanks for detailing your experience what it's like to work in OB.
It was a nice refresher to hear the C-section process. I was a surgical tech for 4 years and I’ve had my fair share of surgeries.
Thank you for the excellent information
Thank you for the insight! 💪👍
This is so informative thank you!
I'm sooo happy, just got into EVMS Surgical Assisting program!!!!
Congratulations!
I loved your video!!
My dream gig 🤩🤩🤩.
Is Ob/gyn physician assistant something that can be entered into as a new grad to include going to surgery?
A PA or a nurse can be first assist. This title is confusing. Wouldn't it just be a PA First Assist? Or a surgical first assist? Or a surgical PA?
Surgical PA.
Regular scrub tech can get CSFA certified and be first assist. It's all about how much schooling and pay you want.
PA, nurses or CSFA can be first assistant
Could you become a first assist while in college working on your major?
How do you get to this position? Do you become a surgical tech first and then go to school more? Or do you have to be in medical school?
You can be a first assist as a scrub tech, RN, PA, and Surgical assistant. It's all the same think but with different pay and schooling.
Was it hard to find a OBGYN Pa job that gives you the best of both worlds? What do you know about OBGYN Pa fellowships? Do these help you get a job that would allow PAs to perform uncomplicated vaginal deliveries ?
If I become a PA I don’t want to be stuck in clinic I want to be able to go back and forth
Awesome
Got it Sexy medicine being wet wet wet..i hate being wet and dripping !!! Are we still talking about medicine bc everything before and after that i cant remember! This is bettrr than Grey's Anatomy 😅😅❤
