you can open up the spring base box and check if it's the spring tension issue or something else.. maybe the box is loose. tighten the screws it's may help.
Cable in my stick is also not clamped properly. I can push the cable into the base with almost no resistance :) However I'm not gonna open it up just for that as it may impact the warranty?
Open it up without making any visible damage to the screws. It will not impact warranty. Also there is no screw under the serial number label so as long as that isn't damaged no it will not make any impact on the o your warranty.
Hi, I dessasembled the spring box so I can take out the spring and have the joystick lighter. But then I thought I would break smth. so I squeezed the Box to its position and let the 4 screws not whole tighten up maybe there were some that are more tighter than others. And when I assembled it my dad came in and said" That thing is surely broken kid" I have wanted to prove him wrong but then when I connected it, it was central ("JoyStick") but the imput has shown to the right a little like one or two whole cm on the screen. I followed instructions on thrustmaster but hasn't helped.. You have a idea? I also recalibrate it in Windows but whenever I go right in Msfs or ets2 ingame it's fully right, on the joystick I can turn 2 cm along and don't know what to do now
I can't really see the point in replacing all that plug wiring and risk damaging something in the process - would have been far simpler and safer to just reattach that single wire - but each to their own.
I recently encountered a prob with the sidestick where the POV Hat switch deviated to the left. (Physically the button is in neutral position). But when i opened the control panel, the POV Hat switch indicated as if it was tilted to the left. when i tilted the button to the right, the control panel showed the POV switch in neutral position, whejn i released it, it turned back to the left. how do i solve this?
you mean the tca quadrant throttle? no it should only nice up and down. not left and right. if so then use the joining pin included in the box and tighten the screw at the back to make firm.
if ur taking about the throttle on the sidestick then yes they all have a slight movement. its normal as its a sliding potentiometer like a crossfade pot on dj kits. it's normal to have a slight play.
This video also clearly shows Z axis twitch when moving X/Y around. There have been posts on here and Reddit about how to repair this by a method not shown here. Check this: www.reddit.com/r/flightsim/comments/hhqq3v/ysk_the_tca_airbus_sidestick_still_has_the_yaw/?
@@captainranj2234 i did the calibration in Windows and the trigger and pov buttons were not working , SO i have asked for a replacement as the joystick is defective. I think itd also be a very cool idea for future modification to add a USB C connector for a modular cable
This helped for adding some weights to the joystick
Well done - good job !
Really good vidéo 👌
My joystick is a little loose about +- 20 degrees left-right when pulling back. You think I need to tighten the spring base?

Odd let me have a look and reup a clip

The usb replacement was due to inferior quality cable used by TM. I changed it to a thicker and quality cable.
Anywhere I can get the throttle replacement part for it? Mine doesn't click when it goes into reverse
It doesn't click in reverse but clicks when you bring it back to idle are you sure what you mean is correct?
@@captainranj2234 it doesn't click at all. It just behaves like a regular throttle
Hi,Unfortunately my joystick behaves on it self however though when i'm not even touching the joystick it goes to left or right. How can i solve it
Help make a video demonstration of unpacking the sidestick rudder Repair.
mate sidestick and rudder are two different things. I don't really comprehend your question.

Do u mean the pic hat switch has left button activated at all times? Tilted would mean hardware failure.
Also what is the tca properties showing. Open joy. Cpl in search
@@captainranj2234 sorry the button not deviated. But from the properties it shows that the left pov button continuously activated.
@@Capiel89 its short , just replace the button, its £1 for 5 or something on ebay.
Is possible to take out the spring for better heli controls?
yes its totally possible.
@@captainranj2234 Big thanks!

@@captainranj2234 yeah, throttle on sidestick. Previously I used Saitek Aviator & Logi 3D Pro and they had rotating pot and it felt a bit better
Thank you show vdo clip repair rudder sidestik please
Which side stick are you referring to ?
You from India??
My Z axis, the rudder twitches on left side without giving any input. What do i do ?
use a program called Diview. then add dead zones and calibrate. whatever you save on diview gets saved in Windows controller config.

Can i used mod this stick for tiller..
The joystick already works as a tiller. Just assign axes to left and right.
Hi my pov and joystick buttons not working any ideas
r they mapped right? in sim

Mine is pulling left it own i dont know why
U sure it the throttle and not rudder? If in warranty send TM and email. U can try Diview and configure it.
You can fix that yourself. Nocturnal simulations has a repair video for the dodgy Z-axis. Takes about 30 minutes.
