While this is true, it doesn't change the fact that DeRozan was abominable in the playoffs.
People aren't even necessarily expecting him to have beaten Bron; they just expected him to look like a star calibre player. Plenty of players have gone up against Bron in the East and though they lost put up a good fight. Think of Victor Oladipo or Paul George for instance. DeRozan always surrendered timidly.

There's a lot of players whose mid-range games come to the fore in the playoffs: Devin Booker, Kevin Durant, Jimmy Butler, Chris Paul, Jamal Murray and Kawhi Leonard are examples.

because he only knows one way to do it. and teams can stop him. thats why it wont ever work in the playoffs, especially now.
his process is the following : dribble the air out of the ball trying to get to his spot, IF he creates enough separation from his defender he chucks it, if not then proceeds to pump fake that shot to oblivion waiting for the defender to bite and jump in order to get a foul, IF defender doesn't bite next move is to search for a bail out pass with like 2" remaining on the clock.
in the playoffs defenders aint falling for that ish.

I think personality wise Demar is a similar to someone like duncan or dirk. hes by all accounts a good teammate, has never had any off the court stuff but not a leader either. he does show up to play for every team hes been on. hes not ben Simmons or Kyrie or something like that. I will say Demar is maybe less naturally talented and not some high IQ player.

DeMar is a cancer for all the teams he plays for. Got rid of him in TO and then boom, they win the chip with someone better (Kawhi). Kept the Spurs youth from developing, (although did become less selfish of a player after his Spurs stint) then gets traded to the Bulls and single handedly ruined Lavine's career making him look bad and basically stole his team and the heart of Bulls fans to the point Zach wants out now. As a result he now hindering the youth like Coby and Ayo from fully developing with his crazy iso ball and obsession with being 'the man', 'king of the 4th' and all that sh!t they made him believe he was smh... DeMar is 2nd or 3rd option on a contender I agree, but he needs to stop thinking he that dude cause he not and that's why Bulls fans and Bulls media getting tired of him rn...

    • @RestaurantPOSForMac

honestly the problem with the bulls is lavine and lonzo not demar. Lavine and lonzo are always injury prone so the bulls just have to play with a past his prime demar.
even when lavine plays well and is healthy the team loses. And same in the years in Toronto really. kyle lowry was his second best player. Siakam and Van fleet was just drafted and not getting minutes, Marc Gasol and ibaka too demar didnt get to play with. how many iconic kyle lowry moments or games come to mind ? and demar has almost never missed the playoffs whereas players llke Anthony Davis who play d and are considered superstars are out of the playoffs 8 out of 10 years in their prime. Dame misses the playoffs maybe half the time. To me Demar is closer to Paul George, Siakam, Aldridge, or Dame like if he has some pieces around him you can have a few 50+ win seasons if they are your leading scorer but he hes not going to single handedly carry a team if he has no real help.

    • @VictorLionsTV

@@RestaurantPOSForMac Yeah Dame Lillard has only been the WCF once, he also has been swept in the Playoffs 3X, while AD has missed the playoffs 7X in 12 seasons. Only twice has AD been past round 1. I have to criticize AD, and Dame harshly as you said, they are considered superstars but they are also Top 75 players. Yeah also Billy Donovan is such a terrible coach, he has costed the Bulls so many games with his bad lineups and lack of late game adjustments.
Also what the gentleman forgot to say he makes it sound like the Raptors traded Kawhi and they just won the chip all of sudden, what he failed to mention is that the Raptors had a brand new coach in Nick Nurse, a new coaching staff, also the Eastern Conference was different, the 2018-19 Raptors had 8 new players on the team. See I am from Toronto, and I watched the Raptors for over 16 years, people cannot fool me.

Devin booker is more close in terms to that than him and he hasn't even won a chip or even really been that guy on his team.
