Update:
Mascara- really liking this one! It wears well, and removes easily. No smudging, just a tiny bit of flake-age at the end of a long day.
Powder- i did notice some serious settling into my fine lines after a few hours. It works better for me with a brush, though doesn't give as high of coverage that way. Just okay.

Your hair is so pretty. I love your curls but the soft waves are very flattering!
The best powder foundation I have ever tried in the One/Size Patrick Starr. I think it came in a Boxycharm or another beauty subscription. I know I didn’t buy this myself. I cannot tell you how shocked I was when I put it on. It doesn’t look powdery to me and I have dry skin. I have no idea how much it cost but it’s probably in line with a lot of others.
The twisted volume mascara I start at one to lengthen and then use 3 or 4 to volumize them.
Just stopping by to say that I am always stunned by your eye makeup; it's absolutely gorgeous every time!

I love the it cosmetics celebration illumination powder foundation. Great coverage and such a pretty finish.
I got that J Cat pressed powder that you got from Ulta on sale and I agree that it does oxidize a few shades darker. I was surprised later in the day when I saw that it got a few shades darker after having it on all day at work. After I powdered it it looked normal again however. But it is a good foundation. Thanks for bringing that up. I thought that it was something that I did that caused it to darken up. However, it is a beautiful powder foundation! Thanks for the video!
By the way, I just watched a Wayne Goss video and if this foundation is oxidizing a few shades darker throughout the day on you, you can add translucent powder as a setting and finishing powder. It worked for me today!
I like this powder foundation, on my 2nd one. Really like the Sephora brand products as well.
Finally started to wear my curly long hair natural sometimes to give it a break from flat ironing the heck out it and there you are😂. Gorgeous no matter what😉👍

We apply mascara the same. I’m always leaving dabs of it by my nose and cheek. Loved the eye palette. Love your style and relatability. Nice Princess Bride reference. Time to storm the castle 🏰😂

Mac Studio fix and Fenty are very nice even on dry skin mature skin! Dual Finish from Lancome is also beautiful!
Laura Gellar has the most lovely powder foundation!!! Makeup Forever is such a stunning powder foundation as well!
I am so glad you reviewed the Pur palette. I have been waiting for someone to review them because I wanted to try them too, especially the Wednesday one as well. I had tried a Pur full face palette and fell in love with it and then they came out with these.
The persona liners stay on as well as my beloved discontinued Marc Jacobs liners. I have yet to sharpen them so hopefully they sharpen well!
Good to know. Now I don't need to check them out. I did not have the same experience (I don't have watery eyes, no allergies, etc) and yet that liner disappeared from my waterline in less than 5 mins time. I just picked up one of UD's last month. Had the same experience. I've been using the Essence liners which do stay in my waterline for 4-6 hrs before needing a touch up. Only downside are the shade options. But I'm hoping they'll extend the shades since they do tend to sell very well 🤞

I have never heard of anyone talking about ULTA mascaras. I picked up two mascaras in 21 days sale. Lancôme which I love and the Tarte tubing. Never tried tubing before. Excited to try!
Where powder foundation is concerned, it's hard to beat Bare Minerals and Laura Geller, in my opinion. Bare Minerals is the foundation I pointed my mom towards when she asked for a recommendation because she likes to buy in person (normally) and I've bought both the Laura Geller Balance n Brighten and Double Take Baked formulas for her. They don't receive a ton of buzz (though I think the Balance n Brighten had a brief moment somewhat recently) because they've been around for so long, but there is a reason they've lasted.
I have been wanting to try the Laura Geller one for but I never knew which shade to buy. I'll stick with my bareminerals for now :)

Idk if the huda beauty glowish powder is a powder foundation, but that’s how I wear it and I LOVE it!
Did you catch that? On Wednesday we wear pink! I have the Wander Beauty powder foundation.
If you haven't decluttered it, try the bareminerals powder foundation again! I rarely have the patience or time to buff it in, so I strategically place it like you just did and I think it looks great.
I have found most of the Ulta brand mascaras to be really good.
Fenty powder foundation is my favorite. It's long lasting too!
Aquasurance foundation is great for dry skin! I love it.
I really like the ULTA Maximum Mascara. Twisting brush? Interesting.

I kept trying the jcat powder foundation and it DID oxidize on me and was too drying and powdery looking. (Do love the luminizer tho). I found both of those years ago from Taylor Wynn (when she was Thataylaa). For powder foundations, I keep going back to Laura Geller who has the HG balance and brighten and a new one - supposed to be more coverage…also the Pur powder foundation and the make up forever powder foundation both work well for adding some coverage.
Powder foundation is hard if you hedge dryer skin.
I heard you mention Boxy Charm. Don't you do it anymore. I got into it from your recommendations. I just got my Luxe box yesterday. Had a full size Natasha denona palettes in it.
I just tried this powder foundation. Unfortunately it was way too heavy and cakey for me!
If you get an opportunity, try the persona brow gel ... it's wonderful!

I got the Morphe Talking Flirty palette in the sale for $10 just because I couldn’t resist the price - the color story seems similar to the PUR palette and I was surprised I really liked it and the quality is really nice. I also just got the new Colourpop Harry Potte N r Back to Hogwarts palette, again because I couldn’t resist (and had coupons so it was only $10). I no know it is silly but it is Harry Potter season and I love HP and the colors actually looked like ones I’d like that could be fun… now just waiting for it to arrive!
I love the j cat pearl luminizer and I have medium to tan skin depending on the seasons…
I tried the Aquasurance foundation in the lightest shade at the time and it was soooo yellow.

Hey Mandy Lea! So sorry for my earlier comment; it seems I wasn't listening very well and I thought you were presenting drugstore items! I deleted that stupidity, and just wanted to comment a bit on the actuals. For a pressed powder, used for setting or finishing, I've recently fallen in love with cheapie Rimmel Stay Matte. But you said you wanted to hear about favorite powder foundations, which to me are a different animal with more depth of tone and more substance and flexibility depending on how you apply and buff-buff-buff!, I'd have to go with BareMinerals OG Original loose mineral powders. I've been in love with this product, in 3 different shades, for over twenty years. I've used it alone, over primers, moisturizers, tinted sunblocks, BB creams and regular liquid foundations (which I've since given up on for color matching impossibilities!), and this mineral miracle handles whatever I throw at it! I'm 62, with expected high mileage lines, bags, sags and discoloration, but the real miracle is how it works with my moody-angry rosacea patches which have weird texture even when the color is calm. I can't say enough good things about this product, and I've given honest tries of quite a few other powder foundations through the years. I LOVE the Pur Minerals eyeshadow palette you used, it reminds me of one of the Sephora Eye Bloom palettes, maybe the Peony kit-? From looking online though, I think I might like the Pur palette Thursday better - the gray and lilac/lavender shades are my favorites with my dark brown eyes. So thank you for turning me onto this, and for giving me a reason to go into an Ulta store; makeup shopping is my favorite physical activity bc it keeps me away from the Haagen Dazs in the freezer at home! PS I think you may have discovered a soon-to-be viral mascara! remember a Dial-a-Lash mascara from Maybelline I think, years ago, but that adjusted the amount of product on the brush, not the actual brush itself. This is very interesting to me! Thanks for the introduction!

I'm going to guess that her fab hair is naturally curly/ wavy🤔. In beautiful condition which is why there is no frizz👍💗
