This week I'm attempting to do the 7 wonders of the world in 7 days! Visiting the 7 wonders of the world is something that Ive always wanted to do and I thought to myself, I wonder if I can do it in 7 days? As far as I'm aware no one has attempted this before so the only way I'm going to know if its possible is by giving it a go!

I’m a professional film editor and the quality of these vlogs, The colour grading and doing these on the fly is so impressive...
I beleive this was previously recorded, so he did not edit whe whole thing in the few hours of sleep he had, still amazing!
I edit professionally as well. I think the color is primarily just the Canon camera's natural color science. That being said, the quality of the edit, the ridiculously quick turn around, and general style is really impressive. Simon must roll on pretty much everything so just sifting through footage alone must take hours. Although it helps he freshly remembers everything that's relevant to the edit.
As someone who works in production, it'd be great if Simon could shoot on a camera with 4K raw with 15 stops of dynamic range and have a crazy cinema setup. But that's both overkill for RUclips and impossible to feasibly execute for vlog style content.
Come to New York again, Simon! I'll film something cool for you on a cinema camera hahaha.
Jeremy Levy Its great to find a like minded individual, I’ve always been on the fence with canon camera’s the amount of damaged ones our business has with broken audio jacks. I felt it was the colour curves with Final Cut Pro, people do not understand the amount of time it takes to produce a piece of content like this. When we produce a series of feature film we have 4/5 months hand on work plus consulting in principal photography.
I’m relatively new this channel but this guy is next level in my opinion.
@@jordylyons4648 Likewise, allows us to appreciate Simon's work on a technical/creative level a bit more. I personally hate Canon cameras for video, they're good for still photography or vlog style of course, but not for any major production IMO. Unless you're using a C200 or C300 or something, but their DSLR lineup isn't great.
But yeah, it takes an insane amount of time. Luckily I'm sure Simon is smart about it and has his go to library of assets so he doesn't have to re-create things all the time. Just quickly JKL through the footage and cut where necessary. Even then though the polish is damn good for how little time he has to finish each video.
I don't work on feature length content often, but just knowing how even small videos for corporate clients takes ages to finish I know what you're talking about.
Jeremy Levy Just tired of muppets thinking these are threw together in 5 minutes, there’s 3 days work there i know I’m a editing geek but I’m super impressed with the content on this channel, I know title cards can be pre-produced but you’re bang on trying to pace a story when you’ve got hours of footage to sift through.

Have you had any problems with carrying a drone through multiple airports? As a frequent traveller I’m curious.
I’ve taken my drone through airport security several times, flying through New York, Florida, São Paulo, Mexico City, Cancun, Toronto and many other places. Never had an issue.
The year is 2020. I'm in the middle of a pandemic watching a Welsh bloke go down the Great Wall of China on a kids' ride. Never thought that'd happen

I had such a bad day today.. just struggling with work and life in general and I was feeling so down, I actually cried. Then I got home and this video was already open because I was watching your videos last night, so I just clicked play. When the camera cut to you on the kids ride and you said: "What is goin on ere?" I cracked up and it just lifted my spirits.. I can't even stress how good your content is.

I'm really impressed with this 7 Wonders Of The World series and Simon's excellent video edits. However, it's a pity he's going to miss about one of the Wonders, either Brazil or Peru. Technically you could argue there are 8 wonders of the world, including the pyramids as honorary status.
