I really liked this video, just a simple film telling a story with little dialogue or text. I don't think you can run a channel on them, but they're super fun to watch every once in a while :) I can't wait to see you three back on the road! (i'm sure you're ready for that too)

Stop the hate guys, it's hard enough already to have your beloved jeep broken, let alone your 'house'. I'm sure it's really hard to keep making content when he can't travel. You want to see roadtrips and beautiful scenery, but if he's hanging around the workshop or house you still won't get the content you want. Be patient guys!

In the future- don't use an inline sander for that! You should be using a random orbital sander instead. Looks great from here though.

Hey Jake...great job on the doors...I'm loving the color of Jade. Makes me want to paint my jeep that green. Yet my jeep is named "Baloo" from the jungle book (its a deep color blue). I've had the chance to watch some of your older videos....I just watched the one where you drop out of college to live you dream. I did the same when I was 22 to following my passion as an artist....spent 6 years traveling, living like a bohemian. Traveled to Europe and South America some of my best memories where made then....don't worry about any negative feed back from people who don't know how to live their own life. -Vance- Dun. summer hits I take off my full doors and hard top ya it might be cold and wet some days but nothing beats no doors and a bikini top always a good idea to have a coat o and always take out the plugs I had a full service pool in the jeep a few times

Por 15 is an amazing inhibitor. Did the entire tub of an old beetle with it. Side question, was that self etching primer? Bites better into bare metal.
Hey, where did you find all of the seals for the door? I cant find a kit with all of the seals in it for my doors. Like the seals between the glass and the steel with the outer seal.

There's actually a list of 15+ things Joe has been working on. Jake hasn't even vlogged about all of them. For most of us this just means we haven't gotten vlogs as often. For Jake it means his home is out of action. It has all taken longer than anticipated but the extra downtime has been well used to make other upgrades to Jade and take care of some other things too. Last drill weekend Jake was telling me all about his plans for the channel and it's gonna be amazing. So hang tight, best is yet to come!

Doors looking good did you get new locks I have older I think cj doors on mine I tryed getting new locks but never could find the right 3 set to change them out is that why you never did yours

i have been doing this exact same thing you are. Unfortunately the window track guides are pretty rusted so I'm having a hard time getting the new window tracks in. Don't know if you experienced this, if you did, do you have any tips?

Hi Zeke, New Mexico is planned after California and Arizona. He will be doing at least one meetup in each state. When Jake was here for drill weekend we were talking about it as I spent a lot of summer vacations in New Mexico when I was younger. It's a beautiful state!

There are tons of jeep forums full of nice people willing to help you. Don't forget that you live in the era of the internet. If you don't know how to do something, someone else does. 99% of the time there's a youtube video.
