First Wash in 10 Years! Disgusting Jeep Detailing Restoration
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 12 мар 2020
- In this episode we Deep Clean a Jeep Wrangler that was abandoned in a junk yard and is completely disgusting with mold and rodent infestation. After restoring the cars interior and polishing the swirls and scratches from the dried out paint, I applied plasti-dip red stripes to create the Jurassic Jeep driven in the original Jurassic Park Movie. Check out this complete transformation from a junk yard to show car in 1 week. Hope you enjoy! -L

Although there is a ton of detailers on RUclips these days that I really like to watch I somehow get a feeling that Larry is more of an artisan of his trade. The quality and attention to detail reflects in the style and quality of the uploads. Well done, keep it up!
To My totally agree. I said the same thing when I first came across his channel.
Larry is beyond an elder in detailing circles. If anything, Id say him or Yvan or Apex are the most innovative with Chicago Auto Pro's and a few other not too far behind.
I feel like there are many great «car wash & 1step polish» youtubers. Larry is in a group for the select few, the brain surgeon equivalent of detailers. If he doesn’t polish the paint until scratch free, he has a good reason for it & will explain why, the risk factors & the chemistry that goes on. I watch a lot of detailing videos just for the satisfaction, but when I watch this channel It’s because I want to school myself.
He's such a genuinely nice guy. I'd love to have a beer with this dude.
Did u notice he didn’t even vacuum the carpets before scrubbing? Kinda odd right....8:00
Who else is getting addicted to this channel😂😂
Edit :Guys thank-you for the likes❤️
Have been for a LONG while now! 😄
sergei petrashevich his pretty eco friendly. His got filtration systems in his fresh and waster water and all his products are of his own meticulous mind with the environment at the fore front.
Smart. People love transformations. I dont care if its weight, car restorations, financial etc... We love to see a happy ending.
Fam 😂

Anyone else in absolute awe with the rust free floor?
Not as much as the rust free hinges
6:33 " it was about 20 degrees, so it was very cold"
*laughs in Canadian*
*sips maple syrup smugly"
@@coryhalvorson8874 ok.

@@shnek5143 my whole life is cringe, deal with it.
I know. In Minnesota thats a nice spring day.
That has to be the cleanest YJ I have ever seen. My mouth hit the floor when you took out the carpets.
So happy it didn't get junked!
Same! I was absolutely shocked by how neat and clean the floor of the Jeep was after they removed the carpet
I bought a YJ last year fixed it up with my old man and I can say that this is a very clean YJ
Omg no body rust 😍
Hard to find like that here in Canada
So true!
You have no idea the amount of anxiety you give me while painting
Facts same
Looks like 💩
Me too 😕
That’s a disaster
I know!!! He should know better!!!
"be the stylist, not the butcher" 👍
I love all of the AMMO videos but these 'rescues' are becoming my favourites. Thanks for another great video...... oh and $2.40.
"barn find" rescue format is ticking all my OCD boxes!!! Keep them coming!!!
Everything Larry does is stunning! He truly loves what he does and you can feel the passion thru the screen! Great content everytime. I've been watching him for at least 6 yrs
What you do is ART my friend. Amazing work
This channel is my addiction
HOLY SHH.. that warehouse!! How? What? Why? Who? WHAT?!!
Atlantic Picture that warehouse made me hit the bell! Notifications on!!
Jay Leno? 🤔 Seinfeld?
@@henrys130 Don't blame you. I borderline want to be thrown in a blacked-out van and taken there (no tickling tho) just to look around..
That cuda grabbed my attention
Some 1% eh
Love the video, the knowledge, the guy, the cleanup! Keep it up :D cant wait to see your next projects
1:08 "I couldn't imagine that I could film at this point"
*Has flashbacks of everything from 2020*
Amazing results 🤘🏻 but personally the red paint spoiled it 😢
I’m so relieved it’s just plastidip
When he said Jurassic Park Jeep I only remembered the Ford Explorer that the T-Rex "ate" in front of the paddock, forgot about the little Jeep Ian Malcolm's classic line "Must go faster! Must go faster!" scene was in. Guess I need to watch the first three movies again.
It's to look like the jurassic park jeep
I also prefer it without but it's just platidip
Its peelable.
I like it. And it makes this vid different than others. Will add to the sale price, and maybe 6 months later they peel it.
These are always so satisfying. I'd love to see you tackle a motorcycle one day!
Yammie Noob nice to see papa yam here!
Would love to see a collab ... 😈
Do a motorcycle!!!!!!
"9 types of car cleaners you meet at the car wash" episode coming up!
Mr. 675
Look a Jurassic Park jeep! Thanks for the update at the end! Looking forward to seeing more about that warehouse
This was an amazing find! and who better to find this. Looking forward to future episodes
I love this so much, saving abandoned cars. Keep doing this
love these videos watching them is like therapy for me.
Awesome video 👍🏻as always great info and love that you resurrected this Jeep. I’m sure someone is going to get a great vehicle.
Keith from Canada 🇨🇦
$1.43 in change..... Keep the vids coming man, been loving them for years!
This is a great combination of classic Larry info and satisfying shots you might see on some other channels. I'm liking the the new format.
That warehouse looks amazing I wish I could get just one of those cars to restore lol
Me too!!!
Thanks for the follow up on the 944! So cool.
I was so excited to see this restoration detailing, then boom! Ruin it with paint 😭😭
no other detailing channel comes to close the time and detail larry puts into these videos. Thanks, Larry! Also I guess its around a $1.60 of change
The detail geek is awesome too
I have a Mint 92' Sahara. I live in the desert Southwest so no rust.
Everyone wants it. A real Jurassic Jeep is made from a 92 Sahara.
?
I though they were 93 Sahara Jeeps.
@@number3665 1992 I think.
But th colors are the same so wouldn't matter anyway
Lovely job Larry - as always! 🤩
That is a great work, thank you for sharing it with us!
$1.73
Also, the shots of pressure washing off the dirt after the Frothe was so satisfying to watch.
Finally, some quality content on RUclips again
Thank you Larry! Another fantastic video🔥
One of my favorite movies, I dont care if it "authentic" it looks great! My guess is $4.63
Larry, again, thanks for bringing us along. GREAT GREAT stuff!!
Love that 944. As a child, a car just like it would drive by my house every day and I'd be up early in the morning to see it go by. Strange that I never got the chance to see one up close or buy one and restore it.
You are a true teacher! I enjoy your teaching parallels! I have a request, for your updates can you have them both in the episodes and cut them as their own separate video? It would nice to have an update category! Thanks for the channel!
$2.87 FTW. Seven Slot Nation appreciates you bringing this jeep back to life.
I love that point Larry made when he talked about the trend on RUclips with everyone using stiff bristle brushes to clean their carpet. It’s really a last resort and I see a ton of these detailers using those brushes ALL THE TIME and especially when it’s really not necessary. Shows you how much Larry has really tried to hone his craft. Which is why I always try and learn from him and anyone that he learns from directly!
Slowly becoming my favorite detailer, I am going to guess $0.87. Thanks for all the great content.
Thank you for posting an update on the 944 project.
😂 I love to watch that woman cleaning the inside of her car with the pressure washer.
$4.13 for the change found.
Larry, really appreciate this videos and advice for keeping my car as clean as I can do.
New Ammo vid? Always welcome content.
1.41 is my guess. Love seeing the process. Always helpful. That warehouse looks amazing. Also, I ended up getting that oil out of my porsche's trunk linear, lots of dawn dish soap dunkin.
High quality content. The passion for your vocation comes through. Salute to you sir.
4:42 you took a second look😉🤣
Who is she? XD
@@piotrjanos according to the internet Vida Guerra.
$0.97¢, been a fan for years man, keep killing the game🙏🏽
All the above. Fun, exciting, informational and always entertaining.
This channel made me addicted hope you get 2 million subscribers and I'm new so I subscribed already.
Amazing! Love these kinds of “restorations”. Guessing 2.10 for change
Sweet car and a great video! Glad I found your show
Why has it taken me 8 years to realize you look exactly like Linus Sebastian
Lmfaoooo
This is Linus, he's maintained two channels for years
Linus older brother 😂
@@ryder6087 That explains why he tried to ceramic coat a phone.
Mature Linus does cars
Immature Linus does tech
That's a late 80's early 90's model YJ. And it look like the body is in great shape. I'd buy it. I miss owning a Jeep. Living in Toronto, it's a great first car.
i really almost cried when you said you were gonna paint it, so much relief when you said plasti-dip though. that paint has so much character
Fantastic work sir! 🦖
My favorite are always the neglected cars looking amazing after.
$2.60 in changes btw love jeeps from the 90"s
😂😂🤣
Been religious to Mitch the Detail Geek for the last few months, but boy and I glad I started watching your channel. First video I watched was the shop build/tour. Incredible production quality; subscribed!
"Because this is a Jeep, and it's disgusting..." LOL
Yes I was thinking the same thing when he said that
This has been my favorite channel lately! My guess is $4.52 for the amount of change found!
Instead of painting it wouldve been easier to put on vinyl for the graphics. Couldve preserved the original paint.
I’m so relieved it’s just plastidip
Vinyl wouldve looked much better than this faded red he threw on
It's just plastidip, you can pull it off at any point without hurting the paint.
I'm glad you started to feature detailing restoration style videos on your channel. Like To My said, your videos hit different (not taking a shot at the others).
One of my favorite body style Jeep Wranglers. Nicely done you guys. Love it!
$2.13 is my guess :-)
Those upcoming episodes look epic !
Always wanted to do one of these jurassic park jeeps! turned out incredible! Well Done Larry
I love watching your detailing videos, but can we just pause and admire this YJ that has complete floor pans and Tubs!!!
I remember when you came to my shop and tried to get old cars from there as part of a rebuild series
Im going to guess 3,43$ :) great video as always!! Looking forward to the collection videos
That's amazing 🔥🔥🔥
I use a Fabric Shaver Lint Remover Debuzzer to get rid the little fabric pulls on my seats. Some interiors are different that another so you should start with soft pressure first so you do cause more fabric loss. I love your work and I have to clean my 95 Jeep this summer and you just gave me my whole process.
I love the dirty car details! These are awesome
Hey Larry, would love to know why you didn’t vacuum the carpets before taking the bristle drill attachment to it??? 7:59
Hey bud. In this case because I was power washing them, I didn't need to vacuum. If I was following with an extractor, then yes I would have vacuumed so as to not clog the extractor nozzle. hope that helps. thanks for watching and supporting AMMO!
15:49 nice airpods bro
Love your work, you've really been a huge inspiration for me to start my own buisness.
Always live your videos!
Than you for saving this Jeep. I'm a Wrangler jk owner with the rare Sahara tan color.
I guess $2,67, love to see when you bring back to life old cars.
Oh my god that is my grandmas old Jeep she loved that thing
I don’t fully believe you but ok.
🧢
Alfie RS I think he means it’s like his grandmothers Jeep, not the exact one just one very similar to hers.
$5:13 is my guess for the change. New subscriber here!
That looks awesome!
What a beautiful Jeep looks like a military toy, I'm going to guess $1.23.
Learning so much through your videos, love the content! Tuning in from Australia 🇦🇺
I love your work 😍
There’s just something about the 944, it wasn’t super fast, but had good weight distribution and for a 2 person car, has a lot of room for a road trip. I’m glad he’s enjoying it. The heater coming on 🤣 when you hit bumps makes me like it even more!
Kinda wish that wasn’t turned into a Jurassic park Jeep. Because it was actually really nice the way it was. But it’s still nice
Ryker Faatz8205 he said it’s plasti dip. So it can come off easily
The paint looks pretty amazing but I don’t believe that I would be interested in the movie theme
Matthew Fox agreed, but with 7 mins of work... it can be back to stock
Literally love watching these videos. My dream is for one day to find my dream Car a 67 Chevy impala and restore it. Someday
Once again great job
That was the outside. Is there coming a video for the engine and getting it running?
He’s just tidying it up for auction.
I imagine it's not even close to running, just pretty it up and sell it.
I almost bought Sahara like that new as my first car. I’ll guess $0.73
That 944 went exactly where it was suppose to. Awesome warm felt feelings lol
Love what you are doing , great job
3:15 bruh isn’t that just moss 💀💀
Moss is more likely than mold considering where it occurred and how it presents.
They should hire this guy to clean wahu.....no more virus
OMG, you're doing such a good job God invited you to the automotive heaven! Well deserved I have to say!
I am excited to see the upcoming videos. Always love watching them. There is just something about the style and voiceover that just works. Also im guessing $1.78 was found.
I want that jeep!!
0:42 I call the Delorean!!! Or at least I think that’s one.
Nah, it's a Maserati Biturbo. Kinda similar looking at the front with the twin square headlights, but you can see the Maserati badge.
Oh, oh well
@@portalj Even though I'm a huge Back to the Future fanboy, I'd still probably rather have the Maserati, unlike the Delorian it's actually as fast & nimble as it looks - and around the same level of god-awful reliability and maintenance costs.
Hmm, neet
