I sent back the grade 2, because it didn’t match my AWU. They had different color casts to them. Plus it felt cheap on my wrist, and I didn’t care for the clasp. I just ordered the grade 4. I’m excited to see it has a butterfly clasp. Also, it looks like you can now make half adjustments, for a proper fit? After having it a while, are you still happy with the purchase? Does it make cheap noises, like the Grade 2?
After a week, it seems to scratch just as much as the grade 2 band. But it is a much thicker and nicer finish, so I will be keeping it. I might do a followup video after another week to see where it's at.
I have a grade 2 titanium band from Kordiz that is perfectly matched to the Apple Watch Ultra 2 and has the same DLC coating as the others. I really don't see the value in a much more expensive and heavier grade 4 band that will likely have the same scratches as the grade 2 since the scratches are actually occurring on the DLC coating in most cases. I think the grade 4 titanium these companies offer is more of a perceived luxury marketing gimmick than anything.
Just the video I was looking for thanks so much for this. Love the side by side comparison you have done, as you cannot see the differences between the two on their website. I'm holding off getting a titanium band for my Ultra (I already have the Apple Link Bracelet that I got back in 2016 and it looks a very close match with the Ultra) as it's rumoured that Apple will use a new strap attachment system with either this years model or the 2025 model, and I don't want to drop this much cash and the strap been useless in a few months time potentially. But between the grade 4 version of this and the Nomad Titanium, I cannot decide between them. The Nomad is grade 2 admittedly and DLC coated. I'm guessing that when Apple change the strap attachment system that Nomad and Sandmarc will bring out new/revised versions of their titanium bands. I may just get the Nomad and the Sandmarc grade 4 when Apple release the Apple Watches which have the new strap attachment system, as I would always be wondering what the other band was like if I didn't get them both. Thanks again.
Hahahahaha, the highest they've come out with is titanium 4, which is a false advertisement.,I purchased a Titanium 4 strap and love it! I don't see any difference in the color to the color of the watch
Hi How the grade 4 holding up? Great video. No one else compared 2 and 4 only you.

Looks great on your wrist. What is your wrist size I wonder?
Do you know about the Titanium 4 Ultra strap?

@@lucas6700 Is it a bit disappointing to say that its grade 4 but still so scratch prone? I guess there was no layer of DLC coating onto it.
Hopefully they release one with downloadable content available in the future :P
@@supersayianz The Nomad titanium band has DLC coating and its a grade 2 titanium that one.
@@TallysVids Have you heard of LULULOOK? They have titanium 4 straps
Can you tell me please the bracelet pieces are same size-width or those closer the watch are little bigger and go smaller after that?
I returned the Sanmarc Grade 2 after 1 day of use because it scratched too easily.
@@WorldFamousUnfluencer Odd, I thought it was hard enough that that's not how it worked, but no titanium expert myself.

Another Retailer (Bezeli) sells a titanium band for 65€ and declares the material as grade 5. How it is possible??
