I have bought Nomad titanium band and need to share my experience. First the product is awesome quality and look badass for casual and business. For sport you better have additional plastic or original cloth band. Yes it scratch over time(realy hard to notice), but its titanium and it does scratch. I have bought the band here in Czech republic, contacted support in US how to properly adjust the band with half links(if to remove original half links - they told me better not to). Customer service offered me 5 spare half links, they sent them on their expense by FedEx from US to CZE/Europe. It took only 7 days to arrive. What an awesome customer support!
Looks like an excellent premium band. My only criticism is for the price, I wish Nomad had went with the link removing system that Apple (and other third party bands) use as it takes seconds to remove the excess links, and there is no need to use one of these tools. Perhaps an idea for the version 2 of this Nomad.
I've read that Nomad will supply half size links if you contact them after you receive the band, if you can't get the size just right. You just need to provide name and address and the order number.
I bought the stainless steel version of this about a year and a half ago and ran into an issue that other customer reviews did. The magnet fell out of the clasp which made it pretty useless. Credit to Nomad though, they gave me a full refund. But it is a common enough issue that you can see in reviews for this band every now and again. For $300 (used to be $250 before the price hike late 2022) I would say it's not worth it for that risk alone, when the Apple link bracelet is "only" $50 more. Granted, it's not titanium, but I prefer the butterfly clasp for durability over a a hot glued magnet.
I’ve considered the Nomad a few times. But the thing that is concerning me is the magnetic closure and there been no safety bar (or whatever it’s called) that you get on some bands that link the two sides of the band together which stops the watch from falling off. Have any of the Nomad owners had the magnetic catch opening inadvertently, for example if you catch it on something/clothing or if you bend or flex your hand/wrist ?
Unfortunately titianium color of Nomad band does not match Apple Watch Ultra 2 body color for 100%, it is close, but in sunny day difference is well seen. Apple Watch Ultra 2 body color has more yellow tones. And Nomad is more close to grey.
My experience with this band has been terrible. I probably had a bad unit, but it wouldn’t go in all the way in on my Ultra 2. There was so much resistance, I couldn’t get the band out without pulling it with my entire body force and using WD-40. Thankfully my watch was not damaged, but the band got scratched and the plastic bits for fixating it in place got damaged in the process. Still waiting for a reply from support after 3 days of silence. I’m extremely disappointed, as this band is not cheap.
Same here, had to send it back unfortunately :( really like the look and function of it but I could not get the shorter piece of the watch band into the Ultra 2 band groove no matter what I tried.
there is no look that would make me value $300 for a watchband. I wouldn’t pay 50 or $100 for a watchband. My $35. Spigen Dura Pro watchband has more style than that one. Nobody’s gonna look at that watchband and think you paid $300 for it. The wearer will have to brag for people to know.

Thank you for sharing! Nomad is top notch!
Best band hands down for the Ultra/Ultra . Looks great and feels even better on your wrist
Definitely! Love mine!
I've been asking for an Ultra 2 for Christmas and just your vid reviewing this band. Love it! I'll probably get this band.

I'd love that

That's great customer service
Got one and some of the pins were a bit of a pain. But once I got it sized, it looks perfect on the ultra!
were they sold out for long time?

I've use this metal band for a long time now and have had no issues.
@@BaneTech Or that's good to hear, thanks for the help 🙂
I have one it’s just absolutely beautiful ❤❤❤
I agree!
Any discount code to buy it ?
The pins do not remove from any of the links on my brand new Nomad Titanium Black. For $300 it should be perfect. It is instead perfectly useless.

Why will u keep it for awhile?
This is now my every day band when not needing a band for activities.

This is a right mess mate,I'll be lost changing those links
Not too bad once you get the hang of it.
Carbon Neutral 🤣
yeah!... $300? uh, no.
Best can't be cheap, right? 😉
It looks nice. But definitely not spending 300 hundred dollars on a pair of a smart watch band.
@@BaneTech to me, it is a matter of proportion... a $300 watch band for a $799 watch makes no sense... but, to each their own
@@samuelfreeman2181Exactly this... Dont get me wrong, I love Nomad, but $300 on a $800+ watch is just insane and illogical. Way too expensive
😂
$300 for an $800 watch? Does it measure my blood pressure? No? Then fuck that!
Have you seen the price of watch bracelets for watches in the Apple Watch price bracket? You’ll pay that, or more. Hope this helps.
Any luck finding an alternative?
For the money you are paying… it’s too much hassle to size the strap. Will pass.
What would you change to make the band fit?
Climate friendly 😂😂. 🤮
300 dollars no 👎 thanks
What's your highest price you'd pay?
It’s a pretty basic, looking band for that money. To each his own.
What look would make you value $300?

Gotcha. Just basing my question off your look statement.
@@BaneTech yes I like something a little more robust that adds to the look of the watch although that is a sleek band it’s not $300 sleek
