Nicely done! These look awesome! Too many folks don’t think about Buffalo style seafood. Buffalo style fried shrimp (in a wrap for sure) or Buffalo style fried / grilled fish nuggets (any fish works!) are phenomenal! Keep up the good work! Btw… that slaw was on point as well!
One word...DOPE!!! Now a question, can this technique and method be used with a comparable size grouper, some other large fish, or is it unique just for the American Red Snapper? Asking bcuz I'm going on a charter out of NC in Oct and we'll be targeting big Vermillion Red Snapper, jumbo Black Sea Bass, and groupers.
@@reedthefishmonger add some racks to that grill and get crispy tails, fins, bits of goodness.... although I do seem to leave a little more meat on my racks than you.... intentionally... for grilling/broiling.... >_>...
Find you some soy sauce called Maggi brand. Its actually pretty expensive but a million times better than the kikkomon ones or any other soy sauce I've ever had. Its worth the price and you can use less than you would normally use of other soy sauces. You really need to try it if you use soy sauce much. I make a marinade like you did for that salsa, thats great. And try out the seasoned rice vinegar, which is next level too.
@@mattgurin6168 You tried the Maggi? My mom had an asian store and that was the best one I've tried. Not sure if I had the aloha shoyu one but maybe if I saw the bottle I'd remember. Maggi is like $20 for a bottle (not small size, maybe medium size) maybe more nowadays.
@@jtoker9758 I've tried most, in the aloha shoyu brand comes from Hawaii. We have our favorites we grow up with we try other things and compare but I still think alohaz better
Maggi is not soy sauce, it is a mix of chemical flavour enhancers and gets you addicted, I am not kidding my old housemate needed a few spoons a day, he drank the stuff sometimes too 😂 So better stick to soy sauce, it does not mess up your tastebuds.
Your videos make me want to pack my bags and move to the coast. Born and raised in Iowa, I’m ready for a change in scenery
GREAT JOB!!! LOOKS BEAUTIFUL...TO PREVENT STICKING YOU JUST NEED TO OIL THE GRILL SECOND BEFORE ADDING THE FISH...LOOKS YAMI!
You know it brother, Frank's RedHot all the way 100% 💪🏼💪🏼
Yes sir!!! Don’t forget that stick of butter 😂

Hey brotha! This can be done with all of the above!! You don’t want to eat the Grouper Skin though. Black seabass and all Snapper skin is good to go!
@@reedthefishmonger Awesome! Thank you for your response. Greatly appreciated.

Sometimes I feel like if you ate meat other than seafood, you’d spontaneously combust lol
I might! 😬
What brand knife sharpener would you recommend
Hey brotha! I use cheap ol’ whetstones!

Aloha shoyu is the best

Are those your munchkins at the end?!?

Forgot the garlic 🧄🫤
Garlic is almost always a plus!
A better way to grill, close the lid and don't flip the fish. No loss of meat
Meat wasn’t lost, just part of a grill line. I like the char from the grill so I hit both sides. What you suggested works too 👍
