In the '60s I bought a BSA Bantam 125cc for the sum of £5, this included a helmet and gauntlets. It was my first motorcycle as I had just turned 16. I couldn't wait to get it on the road. The insurance was £3.10 shillings and the tax I think was about 10 shillings. I loved that bike, it gave me the freedom to go where I liked. I've had many motorcycles since the BSA Bantam, but It's the one I remember the most. They were good days to be young.
