- Breaking down a goal by Duke's David Lawson #2 against the Syracuse zone defense from the 3rd quarter of the 2013 NCAA men's lacrosse national championship game.
The video walks through a strategy used by Duke to exploit the Syracuse zone by carrying into a seam while attackman Jordan Wolf #31 pops off the crease to overload the perimeter and force the zone to rotate with the hope of creating a open look for either Jack Tripucka #7 or Lawson. After 2 successful rotations by Syracuse, Duke is able to capitalize on a mistake by the Syracuse defense. Спорт
Great video, again! Thanks for this pretty much one of a kind channel.
Thanks so much! More are on the way.
This is great! Please do more breakdowns like this.
I've done a bunch more. Check out the channel. Anything in particular you liked about this one?
Lacrosse Film Room I saw some of those, all great stuff. In answer to your question, just the overall detail and in-depth explanation was what made this video stand out. Also, the colored zones and arrows made things easier to comprehend. I really like this channel because it is different than just game film or highlights, having someone explain what causes plays to happen is amazing.
Again, Keep it up!!!
Awesome stuff. Nice work.
Great content
So it's mostly just patient offense and waiting for the defense to make a mistake
That is why a zone can be so effective against high-powered offenses but, as your statement suggests, the defense has to be really bought in to the concept and execute it very well.
