It's story time !!!!
WARNING: The names of the characters of the Gods have almost no connection with the real gods. The names and powers were taken, nothing more! Keep this in mind. The names of the places too !

On the island of Tartarus, before the appearance of new inhabitants, lived Erebus, the god of Darkness. A very long time ago he created assistants for himself - workers. Advocate and Architect.
Many years later, residents arrived on the island and decided to remain under the supervision of God.
Only now their quiet life was interrupted by the gods Charon and Chronos.
!!!Charon fought Erebus and Diva(relative of Erebus), exiling them to another island. ( 3:05 )!!!!
An Architect, Advocate and a new resident who also became an employee, the Archivist went in search of information... Until Chronos found them.

Why did this happen?
Gosha ( 1:47 ) , being a nimble teenager, stole an emerald and an inkwell that belonged to Meg, the Goddess of Justice. Because of this, Chronos tried to poison him and catch him. Erebus kept Gosha under his supervision so that he would not cause problems being poisoned and shell-shocked.

I have zero context to the story behind this, but I love how gleefully smug the Naga looks. He’s actively enjoying this, while looking bittersweet at the end.
The song is part of EPIC the musical, a retelling of Homer's The Odyseey, and the EPIC's community is releasing a lot of animatics of each song, and Ruthlessness is one of the best ones IMO, if you want to check more of it, the Anniflama's animatic is the one I like the most
But I also have no context for the story Karch is telling, so I would also like more context on that!

The snake rattling works PERFECTLY with this song! It makes the Naga even more menacing!
And I love how he pointed at the winged woman, like "you're next. Better run." He really had it out for them. It really makes me want to know their backstory! 😍

Ok but I love the Snake's design so freaking much and this hisses that follow him around
This is fucking breath taking, also the addition of the snake sounds is so wonderful. It really adds to the menacing vibe the guy has!
Do I have context? Nope.
Do I know ANY of these people? Nope.
Do I enjoy this to the point of repeating this animatic over and over? Absolutely!
Do I enjoy the alteration of the song to where we can hear hissing AND the last lyrics aren't in there? Oh, absolutely!
Seriously, though, this is freaking amazing. I enjoyed it, context or no.
The way the s’s make almost into a hiss when he talks merge so well with the rattling

OH MY GODDD THIS IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! THE GIANT SERPENT IS SO TERRIFYING AND THIS IS SO WELL ANIMATED!! YOU DID A FANSTATIC JOB!! THE MOVEMENTS, THE AURA, THE EXPRESSIONS, THE BODY LANGUAGE!! i love the serpents claws you draw them so well
Omg, the Naga is AMAZING, he KNOWS he's already won so he takes his Sweet. Ass. Time through the whole thing, this is animated wonderfully! On anither note I also love how 'Just a Man' haunts the rest of the play, like a prophesy being fullfilled, in his attempt to escape it, he bolts and crashes headfirst into it, forehead bleeding and disaster behind him...
Gosh, this is amazing. Wish there was context because WOW. It was absolutely stunning and had so much character!
This is incredible. I love the malice and cruelty with which he killed the first two, but the last one, the one already wounded and so terrified, he killed quickly and without really enjoying it, from the looks of it. His smile returned afterwards, as if he had to remind himself he's to be enjoying this. Marvelous job!
That DESIGN! I think this is now my fav animatic for this song the utter malice in that Naga is palpable and I love it!

You can feel the weight of this guy and the speed as he zips around after people. The impending doom he brings to others, yet he's making this into a game for himself. He gives you a sense that he IS the nature order or the inevitable. There's also some air of grace and regal sense to him. Just, BEAUTIFUL.
