Is it meant to be a joke when Greg & Gary talk over each other all the time? After the first time I just took my headphones out for a few seconds when they would start to do it
I can’t wait for the expanded internal storage but I don’t know where this impression came from that PS5 games are so big. They don’t need to be. For example, Miles Morales is smaller on PS5 than PS4 and Control Ultimate Edition on PS5 is 26GB while it’s 42GB on Series X.
It's still so unacceptable that we've been waiting this long for a major PS5 update and we still have to wait until the summer for high-speed SSD news (if it's not delayed further)
That’s one way to see it but they always said it would be a bit after launch. Plus the pandemic hit and most of the NVMe m.2 Gen 4 drives that were meant to hit last year have all been delayed.
I think it's an API/software issue that hasn't been figured out because there's a few drives available like the Samsung 980 Pro or WD Black SN850 which are almost certainly fast enough for the PS5 and there might be a few more that I haven't heard of but it's still double the Series X which has one option and is still in stock because it's so expensive so I doubt there's going to be a stock issue if only a few drives get certified.
Sony could have (should have?) waited until holiday 2021 to release their console. Think it would have allowed for more stock, more games and more polish. Obviously saying this after the fact is super ballsy.

Greg that update issue isn’t something that I have. I can update the games in the external just fine once I put start the game. The problem I have is that I can’t just chose to update it like on the PS3/4 where it is says “check for update” unless it’s on the dashboard. It doesn’t do it on the collection side.
