My wood came from the woods and lakes of NJ , I am lucky enough to live only 5 minutes away from a 2000+acre reservation , I am telling you it’s like woodland for me . Great video as always.
Good morning! I give you a shout-out in the description along with a few other amazing peeps! Not sure how it drives views to you or anything but we gotta support right!! Enjoy
Living by the Mediterranean Sea, 98% of my driftwood come from the sea, and among them, 2% are pieces of boat! And it is a real fun!😂 Sea driftwood are always soft and it takes so much time to get to the core. I start brushing them, than sanding and again brushing, untill I reach the hard wood beneath. Different tecniques are welcome!😊
Nicely done and the end product looks OK, I guess. However, I cringe as I watch all of this work being done to remove the natural patina that I consider to be the most beautiful part of driftwood. To each his own, of course.
@stephenbeck5993 Hey Stephen!! Thanks for checking out my channel and for the feedback. I agree and many of the pieces I keep I do nothing with other than clean the up...however that does not make for a very entertaining video... 😂 Take care Brother!!

Oh the grinder , one day I hope Jamie lets me try it. There is so much one can do with a grinder. Especially with the books I carve. *sigh
