Excellent fish and chips .All looked so nice crisp and fresh . The steak pie was full to the top with very tender looking beef steak and veg inside . Had to be a 10 . 🙏🏼🤩👏👏

You can tell by the fish fryer's enthusiasm that your meal was going to be a 10 and homemade steak pies WOW. Bet that hill burnt off all those calories on the way back! 😅 Another great review, Cheers!

I have been in the Midland pub a few times but did not know that chippy was there. I always went left at the bottom of the hill. The food looked top notch. Too bad we cant get decent fish and chips here in Ontario.
Not a massive fan of fish and chips TBH but if i was in the area i would be trying one of his pies! The guy in the shop seemed passionate about what they turn out 👌
I totally agree he puts his heart into his pies potatoes everything he makes. It his business and he say he’s doing it all because he loves seeing the look 👀 on his customers faces 👍👍

Don't forget the Maple tree in Marple Bridge for the best Chinese in Manchester! I love the fish n chips from town street also as I live nearby, the curry sauce is also worth trying.
Hi Greg, Great review! The fish and chips looked really good and you can certainly see why they are winning awards. I was really impressed with the look of that homemade steak pie. Its not often you get any kind of veggies in a steak pie. It looked really good! I think that place really benefits from its location and that's probably reflected in the price point. It gets a good bit of passing trade from walkers and hikers. I think we'll probably call up one day this week.
