- Just finished going through Horizon on New Game Plus and thought I would share more of my fun and inventive combat encounters. This game keeps delivering in that regard, so props to Guerrilla Games for creating this amazing sandbox. Most of these clips are in Ultra Hard New Game Plus (the ones with the compass which I forgot to remove) and the rest are from my initial playthrough on Hard. Enjoy!

Had never really considered using the tripcaster in the heat of battle, always just used it for traps.
Yeah, it's one of the most powerful weapons when used offensively.
Looking at this video, I understand the cameo of Aloy in Monster Hunter world. Guerilla did great with the hunting options in his game.

Amazing mechanics. If you don't mind me asking, what mods do you favor for your weapons?
Thanks. For my Sharpshot Bow I go with 2 damage mods (50 and 49) and one handling (66 which also includes 24 damage). For the adept version I just throw in another handling mod. My Warbow is either full ice or full shock mods, depending on what damage I want to do. Ropecaster is all handling and the Blast Sling and Tripcaster are full of damage mods (Adept tripcaster I put handling in the 4th slot because damage is maxed already). Oh, and my Hunter bow is all fire mods that include handling as well, since I only use it for fire arrows.

You just aim your blast sling towards the sky and the bomb can exactly go to the enemy. How did you do that?
I have played the game enough to know how high to aim the blast sling to get the bomb to land pretty much where I want it to. On that last kill in the video, I tried to time it so it would land at the exact same time as my strong strike and it worked out perfectly. It did take a few tries, as I'm definitely not that precise all the time :)

Roll away from the enemy and then quickly press toward it and the light spear attack. Aloy will almost magnetize to the enemy and cover a big distance.

Was the deathbringer part of a mission or was a site (I do not know if deathbringer sites exist)

Can you Strike From Above even when not in stealth and in combat? How are you stabbing from the sky when the promt isn’t even there?!
As long as you have the right height and positioning above the machine, you can do it anytime. It's definitely the best melee strike in the game and it looks badass! I watched back through the video and the prompt is there every time except that first broadhead one, which I can't really explain.

Question how do u make them collapse on the ground? Do u have to do a certain amount of damage?
It's a certain amount of sticky bombs or blast bombs that will make them fall. The big machines will take more to drop in this way, of course.
I had no idea you can critical them on their heads.
Yeah, it's a clutch move. Very versatile and it's the most powerful melee hit she can do.

All of the clips with the compass at the top of the screen are in ultra hard, otherwise it's hard for this video.
3:11 where did you find FARO machines?
They are both found in one of the later missions.
Why can't we have them outside of a main story?
