- I recently got back into this game and it wasn't long before I had a bunch of cool stuff to make another video. I hope you enjoy watching just how badass Aloy can be :)

Ivr never thought of jumping on the machines like you do. I'm always trying to trap or tie. You hopping around on that glinthawk made me lol
I should really try out the ropecaster more...I'm sure there are some creative and cool things to be done with it.

This is really learning me to be more effective. But not the same. I prefer the quick death approach and stealth but some things are handy. Like exploding the coolwater combining attacks. Especially on the Larger machines. Some things i see here are really a lucky matter of extreme luck of working out.

And i would die so easy and get reck i didnt know how kill the machines that well even stormbirds and benemoths and those big eagle things if you read this can you give me some tips n tricks and how make your wweapons powerful and your skills and how you played. When you first started off i just got it back like 2 weeks ago
Hey. As far as making weapons powerful, I would go with the Sharpshot Bow (or Powershot bow if you have Frozen Wilds), and dump high damage and one high handling coil into it, so you can nock arrows quicker. War bow is a must and mostly for the freeze arrows. Freezing a machine will allow you to do triple damage and even the strike from above does more damage on a frozen machine. Tripcaster is excellent, but make sure you are using it offensively and not just laying it down and hoping a machine will run into it. You can plant one end in front of a machine and quickly fire the other behind/beside it and it will explode instantly. High damage coils on the tripcaster and it's versatility (use it between rocks and trees) make it better than any of the blast sling bombs. But, the blast sling would be my final weapon and is great to use on a downed or frozen/electrocuted enemy (just load them up with sticky bombs and then back away) and the proximity bomb is great for retreating and laying them down to hit pursuing machines.
Other than that, scan the machines and learn the weak points and then aim for those with triple nocked sharpshot bow is usually a good option for most machines. Definitely try to ignite the canisters (freeze, electric, fire), since that will do good damage and induce the corresponding status effect, as well as damage enemies around them. And finally, learn how to master the strike from above. It's the best melee attack and one of the best attacks, period. Practice on smaller machines to learn the timing.

damn, this is inspiring. i'm nowhere near this aggressive/finesse like, tend to snipe and/or spam, trying to get there tho
what's that arrow/mod/bow combo you use at 8:05 to freeze up that snapmaw?
@@dtentser That is my Powershot bow with 2 damage mods and one handling mod. It was a double arrow shot to the freeze sack on the neck, which explodes and freezes up the snapmaw.
I remember watching some of your older combat reel videos while the game was downloading for me in early December and recall them getting me all hyped up to play. :DIt's nice to see a newer video and it's even nicer to see you haven't lost your creativity in the midst of combat, it's so fun to watch. Great job!

4:37 wait so, does the spear have a small AoE or did you happen to make contact with both in a single swing? Also, do only ravagers have a crit spot on their snout (alongside their eyes)?
The spear attacks are pretty generous. In many cases you will be gifted a little travel to hit your nearest target and in this case the other Ravager got caught up in the strike as well. And I think most of the machines have a crit spot in the eyes.

pinhead9 thank u! I actually figured it out the same day that u can take the headpiece off under settings. I just passed on ultra hard so i also have face paint and different focus variations. Thanks though! Cant wait for HZ2!!!

@@king_of_gamz Try my Volume 2 and 3 videos, which are on Ultra Hard (with a couple exceptions). Anywhere in those videos where you don't see a life bar on the machines, is Ultra Hard. With the amount of combat I was doing to create these vids, it became a nightmare to keep up with the resources necessary to craft the huge amount of precision arrows that I use, so I switched to playing on Very Hard. So, this is all possible on Ultra Hard.

I think these are accurate for this video. Also, I think I put all handling mods into the Blast Sling on the kills where I was firing blast bombs into the air very quickly.
