I'm glad someone else finally took some interest in the deathwatch's questionable acquisition of xeno tech. The codex has a reference photo of a possibly tau looking pulse rifle covered in purity seals that I think looks awesome. Not a single person that I can find online has seemed to take interest in unique features like that on their models.
It's one of the coolest things about DW for sure.. Yeah the Tau rifle in the codex was one of my inspirations. I'll definitely do more stuff like this!

Absolutely fantastic conversion brother, honestly making me want to convert more of my DW. Massive congratulations on your little one. As far as what chapter he should be I’d say Blood Ravens for sure

I agree about the gravis armour hood not being widely liked.. apart from on the Inceptors which imo are the best Primaris aka jumpy dudes 👍
Yeah and they just fit the theme/lore of Inceptors.. they get dropped into the battlefield and then fly around. The extra head armour helps.
That paint job is pretty good, Man. Don't beat ya-self up. Looks sharp.

Black Templars are always a good choice.. But not sure they'd get on with using heretic weapons 🤔

Yeah it's one of their coolest things. But nothing is stopping you from creating a custom chapter that does it 🤘

I thought of a idea for a kitbash you could try even tho it might not be useable in Warhammer but maybe a pirate rogue style if possible it be cool to see what and how you might do it

Nice conversion and tutorial mate, keep it up. Is it my idea or does this model have an unnatural pose by design? I mean the hips position to the legs facing forward? Dunno. Could benefit from a little green stuff lengthening to the thighs.
You're 100% right, the model has a really weird pose.. And I think I made it worse to be honest. If I swapped the gun and sword arm around it would have looked better. And thank you!

Really nice stuff overall but it is somewhat dissapointing and detracts from the interesting conversion that you didn't finish detailing the purity seal or the little wrist display right next to the converted weapon is really noticable to me. Not trying to be mean just curious if you forgot about it or what?
Understandable.. I didn't forget but I just didn't have time, with the birth of my son, I barely got the base coats down in time but I wanted to at least get some paint on it. 😅 I'll finish him off soon and post it up.
