Some of these are not "hidden". In fact, some of them are really popular and on some people's top 10 ps2 games lists. -As for my own "hidden gems", --Enter the Matrix is a lot of fun if you can ignore some jank. --Airblade is a fun Tony Hawk style game but on a hoverboard. --Freekstyle is a really fun arcade-y dirtbike racing game. --Amplitude and Frequency are some pretty fun music rhythm games. --GTA Liberty City Stories and Vice City Stories. Not hidden, but a lot of people don't realize they were ported to PS2 --Grandia II is a really good JRPG (there's also a Grandia III, but I haven't played it) --Initial D Special Stage. It's japanese exclusive, but if you're emulating or burning discs, there's a japanese menu translation patch --Klonoa 2. Again, not AS 'hidden' as some games, but I didn't know there was a sequel to Klonoa until recently. --Mobile Suit Gundam Federation vs Zeon and Gundam vs Zeta Gundam are both fun mech games --NFL Blitz 2003. Again, not hidden per-say, but it's definitely not talked about. It's a really fun arcade-y football game. --Red Dead Revolver, while not amazing, is still decent. Obviously a well known series, but MH2 is japan-exclusive with a downloadable english patch. Not hidden, but no one talks about Monster Hunter even existing on PS2, so I consider the PS2 games to at least be "underrated".

It´s still a PS2 exclusive and it never made it onto modern systems. The orignal dub is hilarious and it still plays fairly decent for a PS2 era game. Mad Maestro! was a rhythm game based on, wait for it...classical music. It's a genre that has lots of material available, and lots of possible ways to game-ify. MM! went for the slightly zany route, but there are other ways to approach it. For instance, when Tchaikovsky composed the "1812 Overture," the plan was to premiere it in downtown Moscow, with artillery pieces on electrical cues, and churches all over the city ringing their bells at the climax of the piece. That performance never happened... but what might it have looked like, if it had? And then there's "Für Elise." Whoever she was (and there's actually some dispute about that, even today), "Elise" may never have heard it. The composition wasn't discovered until Beethoven had been dead for 40 years. But what might have happened if he'd performed it for her?
This is an odd question, but does anyone know what game is under the 'hidden" part of the video cover picture? He looks just like me! If you could name the games in the cover pic, that will help me. It's driving me crazy to try and find it, with no results!!! Plz respond!

And then there's "Für Elise." Whoever she was (and there's actually some dispute about that, even today), "Elise" may never have heard it. The composition wasn't discovered until Beethoven had been dead for 40 years. But what might have happened if he'd performed it for her?
I have a soft spot for classic tunes. Haven´t heard of mad maestro yet but will make sure to check it out. And thanks for the inside look.
This is an odd question, but does anyone know what game is under the 'hidden" part of the video cover picture? He looks just like me! If you could name the games in the cover pic, that will help me. It's driving me crazy to try and find it, with no results!!! Plz respond!
There is some absolute bangers I wouldn't say that they're "hidden gems"
Yeah, good list. But Bully , burnout 3, time spliters, haunting ground,dmc3, darkwatch, psychonauts, yakuza, destroy all humans, the suffering and some other games on the list, were super popular.
You have included The Punisher on the list, thus I consider you my brother.
You´re welcome, Bro! It´s a legendary game! Perfect to let off some steam and go wild!
One game I loved on my ps2 was ghostbusters it wasn’t like the ps3/xbox360 one but it still had its own charm
Loved the PS3 version of Ghostbusters. It´s a great game. I had no clue that the PS2 version is different. The graphics look cartoony. Does it have a different story?
@@GamingKick yes sorta you don’t fight the stay puffed monster on the building it’s allot of things but it’s worth a play I need to get my hands on the remake for ps4 cause I liked how the ps3 one played
@@gijoe532 Will see if I can grab a copy on PS2. The remake was free on Epic Games a while ago! So you maybe have it in your libary already! It sure is worth it on a modern system. Still holds up and the story is really entertaining too.
Nice list bro 😎, my favorite games are blood will, fatal frame, final fight and Genji. It was fun to play
Huge fan of Fatal Frame and Final Fight myself. Always worth a replay!
Where is this song from?
Some of these games look pretty awesome and ones I haven’t tried. Glad to see God Hand on the list. Don’t think I saw Mister Mosquito tho.
dude what is the song that you use
The song is called: 90s by Silverhoof
You can find it on Audiojungle!
What's the music track that plays for this video? It's super kicking!
I had so much fun playing area 51 on the PlayStation 2.
I have a soft spot for Alien conspiracy stories! It's a short and fun shooter with a ton of great voice actors! Where else can you hear Mulder and Marlyin Manson in the same project! Sadly the second part was pretty underwhelming
Can an android phone with snapdragon 865 run these games with emulator? Is that soc enough?
No clue! But I did a quick RUclips search and it seems to work for some games!
What name of song bro??
The song is called: 90s by Silverhoof
You can find it on Audiojungle!
I never knew crazy taxi was on the PS2
I think Crazy Taxi was ported to nearly every console and handheld ever made!
Ty got a ton of games to add to the collection from this video!

Dude we need a Punisher remake my god that would be glorious!!!
Good list, but my favorite hidden gem is legia 2 duel saga
Never tried it! Is it worth it for non JRPG gamers?
@@GamingKick it is it's one of my favorites, and one of the few where when you cook for your party it will either boost your stats or hurt them depending on if it's good or not lol
And the battle system is totally unique the only one of it's kind where you can basically make your own combos, give it a try you won't regret it
@@joshstamey4387 Guess my party will end up with food poisoning! I´ll add it to my list and see if I find a copy!
Disagree with some stuff but gosh it feels good to see the people talking about this.
Always love to hear what people think even if I disagree. Have stumble upon some real gems this way!
My favourite mortal kombat shaolin monks
One of the best PS2 games for sure
Ah man...the good old days...😢
What about flatout do you like those games?
Only played Flatout 2 back in the day! Had a good time with it! Might have to check out the other games too! Which Flatout game would you recommend?
Yeah, flatout 2 is actually pretty good There’s also egg mania which I think is pretty fun. If you have more than one player in one player it’s still pretty fun but in two player it’s it’s chaos then there is the aqua teen hunger force game which is good but only when you’re an aqua teen fan.
A really hidden gem that you also missed is the most Authentic and Unique Ninja game ever that was creat it - Shinobido Way of the Ninja ☯️✌ (Good old days with this Masterpiece of a Ninja game)
Nice!!!
PS2 is one of the nicest consoles!
@@GamingKick it is!! It’s just too bad it was region locked. Missed out on a bunch of imports.
Jade Cocoon 2, Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner, Primal, War of the Monsters
