Dr. Muto, I-Ninja, Zapper: One Wicked Cricket, Haven: Call of the King, Nano Breaker, Genji: Dawn of the Samurai, Sub Rebellion, Firefighter FD 18, are all great hidden gems
Couldn't agree more with RAD and Chaos Legion. Love both those games. If I had to recommend another it would have to be Shadow of Destiny/Memories (Just realizing how many games love to use "Shadow of" in their titles lol). I'm a sucker for time travel stories and this one does not disappoint with tons of time travel shenanigans with you trying to solve your own murder and I think the game has something like 7 endings so plenty of replay action
I saw a reddit post from a year ago asking for hidden gems and I saw so many popular games being mentioned like Rachet and Clank, Shadow of the Colossus and Katamari Damacy. So glad to actually see hidden gems being said.
Steambot Chronicles is my hidden gem. I’ve watched a lot of these underrated/unknown/etc. ps2 games videos and I don’t think I’ve ever seen it mentioned.
Chaos Legion is peak 2000s edgy goth aesthetic, we need more games like those in this day and age So many action games that use summons for its combat would not get made if it wasnt for this We wouldnt have gotten Astral Chain without Chaos Legion
Finally, at long last, someone else remembers Robot Alchemic Drive! One of the best games I've ever played in my life. And it sure was "hidden," I didn't find it until months after its release.
man I loved enter the matrix. played that game until the disc wouldn't read. I do remember some bugginess but it didn't detract from my experience much. I just loved the cinematic feeling to the game, it felt so expensive. plus with the live action scenes shot specifically for the game. I remember back then thinking those graphics were hyper-realistic, ah good times.
Dude thanks so much for reminding me of Way of the Samurai. I remember renting it back in the day and having fun with it, but never got around to buying it. As the years went by i would remember playing it and want to get back into it but could never remember what it was called. Searches of ps2 samurai game would just bring up Onimusha and Jade Empire. Finally i can emulate . . . er, legitimatly buy a copy along with a working ps2. Thanks guys
God Hand It's the only PS2 game I wish to be remastered and released on modern systems. I can already slay demons in style on the go on my Nintendo Switch with the Devil May Cry trilogy. I also want to brutally beat up bad guys on my Switch too with God Hand.
finally! someone talked about chaos legion lol. It was a wonky but a fun title. but boy could you ever get juggled like you were playing tekken lol. I still remember going to buy it and the store clerk was like...really?
I got some for y’all. Suffering ties that bind. Killzone. Lord of the rings the two towers( and return of the king) Prince of Persia (sands of time) Jet li ( forgot name of actual game) Mortal kombat shaolin monks Tekken5
11:27 Is it just me, or does anyone think Claudia from Shadow of Rome kinda looks like Elena from the Street Fighter franchise (another video game franchise owned by Capcom, coincidentally)?
I think a lot of games back then suffered in sales from Pirating. It was so easy to burn DVDs coz i remember a lot of games being massive but having low sales 😂
Remember when people would try to say Xbox and GameCube were better but they both had like 20 good exclusives between them when PS2 had hundreds of amazing exclusives people are still playing today
Why are your ps2 case spines white. It looks so nice. Is it a regional thing or a custom job? I am in The USA and my spines are mostly colored images matching the color scheme of the cover art.
我不知道他開頭會不會音樂還會改比較好聽,聽到膩,還不知道出的畫面比較好戰鬥動作跟動漫,不認識你100% I don’t know if he will change the music at the beginning to make it sound better. I’m tired of hearing it. I don’t know if the picture will be better with fighting action and animation. I don’t know you 100%
Any hidden gems we missed and should put in a follow up vid? Let us know!
Was The Mark of Kri hidden? I never hear much about it...
@@niveketihw1897 not as hidden as its sequel that everyone forgets!
@@CulturedVultures Good point!
Downhill domination and rumble racing are two I often go back and play. Shox is another fun racing game made by ea big that doesn't get much love.
Dr. Muto, I-Ninja, Zapper: One Wicked Cricket, Haven: Call of the King, Nano Breaker, Genji: Dawn of the Samurai, Sub Rebellion, Firefighter FD 18, are all great hidden gems
I love finding new games for my PS2 COLLECTION. This channel is a great contributor to my stacks

I recently found out about, and am now playing, Genji: Dawn of the Samurai. It is quite good.
Loved both Genji Games

Steambot Chronicles is my hidden gem. I’ve watched a lot of these underrated/unknown/etc. ps2 games videos and I don’t think I’ve ever seen it mentioned.
This game is my childhood, loved it! Such a unique "slice of life" type of game which is really uncommon outside of sim games like Harvest Moon
There will never be another 6th gen of gaming. But that’s okay, because you can always keep finding more from it
They could do a reboot, and then there would be another 6th gen, kinda like how there's two games called "Modern Warfare 2" now.
The Bouncer always been one of my favorites. I was so astounded and the replay value was there. Characterdesign was great too
Chaos Legion is peak 2000s edgy goth aesthetic, we need more games like those in this day and age

Darkwatch on ps2 was as you say, a ripper. An FPS set in the Old West with vampires, Demon's, and other creepies.
whipper! haha
but yeah it does whip, great shout!
@@CulturedVultures I meant whipper. Damn autocorrect!
Thank you so much for mentioning Darkwatch. An amazing game in my opinion.
For me Shadow of Rome is one of the best hidden gems and one of the best ps2 games. That game is criminally underrated
Man, I haven’t even heard about most of these games. And I was an active gamer back then. Good work, you must really know your stuff!

The Bouncer was my box-in game. Absolutely loved it. I'd love a remaster or even just the ability to play it on modern consoles
My hidden gem is forbidden siren
@@Livingtree32 for me its a hidden gem
I shall play it this morning at your suggestion, can't remember if I've played it before or not lol.
@@RemoWilliams1227 👍🏻👍🏻
@@RemoWilliams1227 Really awesome game but you will need a guide to beat it or you will be stuck on a loop forever.

Kessen 3 for me!
at the start of the video, that godhand music is telling me im getting a special set of gems recommended to me
Way of the Samurai is such a special game, never played something like it again.
BLACK was definitely underrated. Great gameplay great story 🤘💯🖤
Nice! A lot of Capcom games I’ve missed!
Bouncer was what got me to buy a ps2. But then found out it was 90% cutscenes so skipped it lol.
Played many of these from the old mom and pop rental store. Looking forward to the GameCube video. 😸
I recently looked up gameplay for Chaos Legion and it gave me PTSD flashbacks of X-Blades
I got some for y’all.
Suffering ties that bind.
Killzone.
Lord of the rings the two towers( and return of the king)
Prince of Persia (sands of time)
Jet li ( forgot name of actual game)
Mortal kombat shaolin monks
Tekken5
My favourite ps2 hidden gem is "blood will tell" from sega
Shadow of Rome, truly a hidden gem and one of the best ps2 games ever.
LOTR TTA.. what a MEMORIES!
I’m thinking Radiata Stories, Rogue Galaxy, DarkWatch, Blood Will Tell and SteamBot Chronicles! 😎
That first Lord of the Rings game copied FFXs battle system, not 7s.
we just used FF7 as a general image for FF as a series!
I see Kessen and Onimusha on your self. A man of eastern culture I see:P
11:27 Is it just me, or does anyone think Claudia from Shadow of Rome kinda looks like Elena from the Street Fighter franchise (another video game franchise owned by Capcom, coincidentally)?
Road trip adventure was the greatest hidden gem

Why when i search for obscure ps2 games can i never escape that damn God Hand theme
Logo lookin like a achievment unlock from thps1+2 remake
Unreal tournament was my jam
Time to add games to the back log!!
God the matrix games were legit!!!❤❤
My ps2 hidden gem is King Arthur
i played and enjoyed a lot of beat em ups as a kid but this game is the only one that even as an adult i enjoy it

Battle Engine Aquila. Not a lot of people talk about this.
Red Dead Revolver led to Redemption. No Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness? Yeah the camera was broken but you could still complete it.
hey that Bully theme
The Warriors and Darkwatch
Rogue Galaxy
Purer Sex!

Wow I knew all of these
PS2 hidden gem time

dude I hate the spines here! they're all the same. I love Kessen primarily just cos it's got a little dude on the spine
How the fuck did I miss that lord of the rings game......I am error
Chaos leigon was a good game. It needed more levels.
My hidden gem is The Great escape
god hand
They are called SPECTACLE FIGHTERS
not character action
Hmm that's one of maybe about nine different names I have heard for it so nobody is right
hidden 3rd person ps2 games
My hidden gem is grandia 3
Poor Rogue Galaxy, snubbed on your Best Playstation 2 RPGs list and now forgotten on your PS2 Hidden Gems video.
the good thing about hidden gems is that we can keep unhiding them :D
The brown and grey generation
Surely that's more PS3...?

Who is the girl in picture
In the thumbnail, the girl wearing a blue scarf is Arcia Rinslet(according to the Chaos Legion wiki).

Pretending that cyberpunk was even remotely good disqualifies you from calling anything underrated.
