I won't blame him, really something i could see myself doing a lot just not in league because i'm shit at the game. Being really competitive is good but it seems like he might let a bit too much of that emotion out during the game sometimes. Nonetheless, incredible performance.

I know that jungle and support will get a lot of negativity but I just want to highlight that they asked for help and actually wanted to improve. They are streamers who performed first time in a competitive setting and they let go off their ego. Even if they didn't win the tournament it's still really respectable

Competitive LoL just hits different compared to soloQ. Watching players POV regularly communicating and scanning the map for potential plays is also way more interesting to listen/watch rather than having some platinum level caster screaming his lungs off to induce some excitement. Overall pretty cool event not gonna lie.

I don't think many players are "levels ahead of him". We have no concrete way of knowing, but I think that if he were to return to the pro scene, it would be something comparable to Caps prime.

@@Cainnymost teamcoaches have barely if any knowledge of the game, it’s nonexpert organizations trying to hire experts. There is a reason why pro drafts look so incredibly boring and non changing. Because they don’t know how to actually counter enemy teams in draft. Other wise we would see a lot more champion diversity by having people not yolo lock them self into one theme right at the start of draft, like vi, who is neither strong enough to be a build around champ, nor flexible enough to be picked in much different than hard engage or catch comps.

You can watch his coaching of the Rank 1 Master Yi in the world to see great examples of this. Even in this video he’ll say things like “Yeah, Vayne is fine. Why don’t we just play Ashe and neutralize the bot lane though?” My guess is he’s just conflict-averse and doesn’t like to directly argue with people.

The pick/ban is not the place to open big discussions. Everyone knows LS as the guy that can discuss hours over hours about drafts and bis(best in slot) picks and i am sure that they discussed the possible drafts beforehand while, they were in voice before the series's and the day before DUS began (neme muted during it) As a coach it's also ur task to keep the players mental and when u have 30 sec per pick its better to just be agreeing 3. Its a For fun tournament where most of ppl have limited champ pool and no comp knowledge. LS knows this and because of this doesnt force himself too hard on the draft/team
