Really useful information, thank you. The fact that companies can charge horrendous amounts at obscene profit margins when there's no competition is just vile.
I have normal tension glaucoma which is steroid responsive. I tried this out. The hyperemia was outrageous. I got and still have some hemorrhages. I looked like a monster. Which was a damn shame as my pressure reduction was significant. I’m fairly young (56) and honestly, it was vanity that made me get off. I’ve undergone one viscocanulostomy with great results. I wish I had not been so red…I would have stayed on it. Thanks for your videos. My eye doctors really appreciate how informed I am and it’s because of you and others like you. Keep up the good work.
This drug will probably require a prior authorization after step therapy is documented. Step therapy is the process of trying lower priced (usually older, established medications) drugs that are on the approved formulary..
Not a big fan. Approved in USA for only one implantation, so what are you supposed to do after it wears off? Go back on medications or go on to surgery? For most patients Durysta is a "Why bother?" option.

Also causes artifacts that looks like cataracts and makes vision look foggy. Goes away after a few weeks when its use is stopped.
