Exactly, it was until this last chapter that i managed to understand how Shanks managed to suddenly appear in front of Akainu and stop him from killing Kobi, he skipped through all that crowd who contained so many great characters and none of them even could sense him
And he probably used his future sight to see that Akainu was about to kill Kobi
Brings a whole new meaning to what Shanks said to Koby,” this few seconds changed the outcome”. Simply meaning the few seconds Koby was talking to Akainu, there’s a lot of things Shanks foresaw, and Koby managed to distract Akainu long enough for that future to not come true.

Does Shanks use that CP technique "Shave" which is super fast movement? The distance he covered from Elbaf to Kidd's ship was insane and it's almost like he was flying. Shanks did something similar in the Film Red movie where he jumped but it looked like he flew lol
I think him and his crew can perform ryokoshiki moves, like limejuice can use skywalk, so i wouldnt be surprised if shanks can use skywalk too or even have a pistol underneath his coat if his sword gets knocked off

But other than him, I don’t really care about anyone in the Marines because the Admirals and below are inevitably going to get overcome by Zoro, Sanji, and Jinbei. Not saying that they’re weak because they’ll take out literally anyone under the Top 12 Mid Difficulty. But Akainu is THAT guy. You need to be Top 5 Level to fight him in a Stalemate or to clutch a win.

@@rexyz5875 yeah, I dont think the swordsmen fans are understanding Haki’s true potential and strength, Saying Mihawk > Shanks bc hes a better swordsman, swordsman means you have skills with a sword. Shanks is a lower tier swordsman with WAY higher haki levels making him effectively stronger.
Picture Shanke and Mihawk engaging in a battle where they rely solely on their future sight abilities to outdo one another. Rather than physically exchanging blows, they stand their ground and seamlessly transition in and out of future sight. Eventually, they grow weary and agree to call it a draw. This was the battle that Whitebeard referred to, as he possessed future sight and could observe their movements even when they appeared to be at a standstill.

In my opinion, Shanks possesses the strongest conqueror's haki, while Garp has the strongest armament haki, and Mihawk has the strongest observation haki. Therefore, I don't believe that Shanks could nullify Mihawk's observation haki. Even if he could, it would mean that Mihawk is significantly stronger than Shanks, considering all of Shanks' advantages. There has to be an evolution of the “flash step” technique that luffy learned from cp9, because at the end there’s a small panel when shanks still on the ship just literally vanishes in an upward direction “swoosh” being written, gotta be more to this technique he used!
In One Piece the technique is called "Soru". It's described as being done by kicking off a surface 10+ times in an Instant.
It's always been presumed the more kicks the user gets off on the launch the faster they get. It mite just be that Shanks mastered the shit out of it.

Maybe he desired this before in his life at one point, or he had a similar mentality to those of that mindset. There could also be the possibility that York simply thinks for herself and she alone decided this for her future.
It probably means Vegapunk's desires, like all humans, when no tempered by Morals or logic, would drive him to try take what's best for himself at the expense of others. It doesnt have to mean Vegapunk specifically wanted it, just mean becoming part of the world's top 1% is what a being driven by desire would eventually grow to want

I'm starting to think Blackbeard has advanced observation. Every moment Blackbeard ran, is it possible he saw a future where he didn't win. Maybe the reason why he didn't fight Rayleigh was because there was a big chance Rayleigh would of won. Remember back when he stole whitebeards fruit, he was seriously surprised White Beard could fight still. What if Blackbeard used future sight but didn't see that outcome, that's why after the time skip Blackbeard has ran from almost every fight. Because he doesn't want to take the chance of losing because his plan is well thought out
I think the Blackbeard pirate ship is Aokiji. Egghead isn't necessarily a well known island if anything its unknown. Aokiji would be the only one who would know about it, its importance, and how to get there due to him being an admiral.

We speculated for years that shanks has someone on his crew with a warp or speed fruit but in this chapter we see how shanks moves around so fast undetected, not only is he using future sight but it seems like shanks combined his CoC haki with his observation haki and it has a AoE effect to it that affects everyones perception of time, either that or hes applying CoC to his skywalk to where hes skysprinting fast af
he sees far more than 10 secs into the future. He was able to see something, make a comment about it,give directions to the giants and go to the ship make the attack and have killer react. He probably sees a clean 30-45 seconds in the future at least. also Kid is the new Don Krieg

The thing about Blackbeard is that he feels more pain because of the Yami Yami no mi, so his reactions are not necessarily reflective of the actual damage he is actually taking. Every fight for him is essentially a hardcore BDSM section. It also kinda explain his overly cautious nature to avoid uncertain conflicts even if he may be strong enough to win them - as it would be against Rayleigh.
That is why he likes to ambush and gang on his targets in a oportunistic way, it saves him a lot of suffering and makes kick work of his enemies.
At least that is my opinion.
I think York could be the 10th Titanic Captain. York told the seraphim to not destroy an undisclosed location, which could either be the Paw Room where Bonney is since that's been untouched since the Seraphim have gone on their rampage or maybe a secret port that the incoming Blackbeard ship is coming to dock at. Blackbeard could've promised York that if she gives him Vegapunk he'll make her a celestial dragon after he achieves his goal. I think its Laffitte, Shiryu and Catarina Devon on the ship and their mission is to steal Vegapunk, York and they'll ransack the old devil fruit research lab which could have records on the 3rd devil fruit Blackbeard might want for himself.
This time one year ago I took a trip to Chicago to visit one of my favorite coffee shops!

Yeah, no doubt. He can teleport. It first crossed my mind when he appeared in Marineford. He literally just appeared infront of Akainu and he had a scuffle with Kaido some time prior, so he couldn't have been able to get to Marineford that fast. Now, the real question is, can he teleport just himself or in some instances others/objects? If he can, he should've just teleported the ships that Kidd would've destroyed. There can even be a condition for it, something along the lines of him touching an object/person first, like Shiki (although Shiki can influence just objects).
Shanks can’t teleport he would need a DF to do that and he’s been confirmed to not have one. The closest thing would be him skywalking kind of how sanji does against queen but crossing a much larger distance. That combined with his ability to cancel our other people’s Obv. Haki makes it seem like he just appears

I believe and it has to be that shanks blasted conquerors from his feet to propel himself forward to kidd with an insane speed. I mean if its SHANKS the answer is always haki. It's like sanjis moon walk but on an entirely different "Shanks" level.
And also if you see the future like nobody else can, how will someone use observation on you? because you can already see what he would see with his observation. I think this is why he is called the observation killer. Insane to think about how Mihawk managed to fight with this. TOP 1 and 2.

Also, i dont think oda was random with bounties. He is a very thought out author and im sure he definitely already has backstories for many of the important figures in the one piece world.
How cool would it be if the black beard ship showed arriving on Egghead Island was Infact Kuzan with Caesar clown & pudding coming to bring Caesar clown and re-unite him with Vegapunk. This would make for an EXPLOSIVE chapter because you'd see ((1. Caesar and the Vegapunks interact.)) .... ((2. You'd see the re-uniting of Sanji / Pudding, Possibly sanji getting his memories back of Pudding? )) .... (3. You'd see a possible twist instead of watching Borsalino Vs Straw hats you COULD get Borsalino Vs Kuzan ) Which hopefully would also result in Kuzan post fight being able to tell not only Rob & Kaku but also the straw hat pirates about the secret marine organization [Sword] since Rob & Kaku being betrayed by the marines they might join the ally forces known as [Sword]. Robin would get proper closure with Kuzan finally being able to talk face to face not as enemies. (Even possibly telling Robin that Saul is alive due to I assume the reason he's alive is Kuzan unfrozen Saul and let him escape after.) Giving the straw hat pirates even one more reason to want to go visit Elbaf.

Syv and Brago completely forgetting Shanks is known as the Observation Killer.
Since Shanks can cancel future sight, he might be able to project a future sight to Kid and his whole crew - so everything that transpired in this chapter might not have happened yet. He is after all a master of Haki and we might not have seen all types yet

I stand by this theory:
Weevil is a clone made by vegapunk. He was made with the dna of many of the Rocks crew thanks to stussy. He looks like whitebeard, kaido, AND shiki. I believe this was back before vegapunk had perfected his cloning like he has now with the seraphim. Hence the scars and imperfections of weevil.
Now take that logic and throw it at blackbeard. I truly believe blackbeard is also a clone. Of who? ROCKS D XEBEC. I believe Xebec had vegapunk make a clone of him knowing he may die at God Valley. That’s why blackbeard is from a snowy island!! Because vegapunk was originally from a snowy island!! Vegapunk left his old island to work at Egghead, but maybe he either left blackbeard behind or blackbeard escaped? Maybe he was unfinished and so he was left in a tube? Or again, maybe he just up and left as a child. Maybe he was given one memory of xebec and that was to find the yami yami nomi?
It would also explain why he is showing interest in egghead? I actualy believe that is Aokiji on that ship, but I would like if blackbeard wants something from egghead and has aokiji to go there and get it for him.

I think Pururu might be related to Cavendish. I mean it says her crew name is the Bourgeois Pirates and her crew calls her princess. Meanwhile Cavendish is a prince from the Bourgeois Kingdom. Either shes related to him or shes a fangirl who thinks shes Cavendish's wife.
i also think BB has an extra devil fruit that we don’t know about. i feel like he ate it long before we got the dark dark fruit. either that, or he has something different in his base form that makes him fundamentally different from anyone else
Ever considered that Blackbeard might be like Cavendish and Hakuba? My theory is that BB is a failed clone of Xebec and he was considered a failed experiment because there’s more than one person in one body. It would explain how he gets around the observation haki of someone like shanks. Additionally, if observation haki is based on imagining your opponents possible actions, reading up on your opponent would make you be able to predict them easier or further if you’re skilled with it. So theoretically this would mean he just outpredicts other observation haki but cannot predict BB which can be done by being multiple people in a body

Based on Dorry and Broggy’s height we can guesstimate how far away from the ship the island is (that being between a quarter and half mile away) Shanks seems to casually have supersonic speed comparable to characters like G2 Luffy, Katakuri, Sanji, Hakuba, and Lucci.
It's too late for that boy, it's already proven and your headcanon to downplay Shanks got decimated
I know this isn't canon, but Shanks did something similar in Film Red when he deflected one of Kizaru's attacks, basically flew up to where Kizaru was, and told him to stay out of it.
I believe shanks is still observing the future with observation haki at the end of the chapter.
You can tell by how the future sight panels are grayed out.
You also see the same thing in some of the panels of kid after shanks attack.

Theory: BB's fight gets cut off everytime because he is the reincarnation of xebec, and Xebec takes over every time BB is about to lose a fight, hence the reason Oda cuts off the fight.
