In the Official, Mihawk says "You want us to fight them all at once", which would be a terrible decision for a developing military state. But more so, based on Croc's reaction too, they were more annoyed that Buggy was trying to make this decision on a whim in their eyes.

I don't think Shanks would be given the same "written off" approach that Luffy received. Big Mom and Kaido would be ready and fully prepared for his assault. I think Luffy, Kid, and Law being underestimated aides to their hard fought victory.

I think theres so much more to mihawk and shanks relationship than we think. We know shanks has celestial ties but i think mihawk does too. Nobody talks about it just because we dont have much to go off of but mihawk being the only person to share IMU's eyes has got to be something crazy and relevant.

Expecting Mihawk to suddenly want to become pirate king just because he's strong is ridiculous. Crocodile I can't defend because he said from his lips that he wants to be pirate king. But we know Mihawk from a young age had gone around challenging pirates and marines in order to become the worlds strongest swordsman. That was always his goal. Just like Zoro. So for example, when Zoro beats mihawk then becomes strongest swordsman must he challenge Luffy for pirate king - because worlds strongest swordsman isn't enough? Mihawk reached his goal - there's no need for him to chase something he never wanted to start with. One piece has shown that no one dream is more important than another. Sanji wanting to find the all blue isn't superior or inferior to Ussops dream of wanting to be a great pirate.
Mihawk wanted to be the PK and had greater ambition until he realized that he couldn't become PK. Why else was Mihawk at Roger's execution? Then he tells Luffy that being PK is greater than his swordsman title and fast forward to Buggy calling Mihawk a loser saying he doesn't have any ambition lol
Mihawk defenders can try their hardest but facts are facts. Mihawk isn't that guy he's just not special enough lmao maybe if he was a D, celestial dragon or had the voice of all things 🤔
@@panafricanismisascam5201 Not true at all Mihawk has never stated that he wanted to become Pirate King. Dragon was also there does it mean he wanted to become Pirate King. Mihawk says it's a tougher path to become Pirate King that's all. These titles aren't even comparable since 1 is a strength title and the other isn't. No ambition because he isn't interested in becoming Pirate King his only goal is to find a swordsmen that surpasses shanks.
When Luffy recruited Zoro he said the future pirate king needs the world's strongest swordman by his side. Buggy for pirate king cobfirmed

Magellan would be the perfect man for the job since he doesn’t have concrete scaling against the admirals so the admiral debates won’t end and he is still respectable and thought to be very strong by the community although no doubt if Mihawk does one shot people will suddenly say that Magellan was weak and was being hurt by pre-timeskip Luffy so it’s not a good feat.

Regarding the civilian that offed T-Bone:
It's always possible that he used poison or some sneaky way of assassination. Despite being a shonen manga, not everything has to be about "taking him down via fighting". Look at Thatch, who commanded a Whitebeard ship (iirc) and got sneak attacked by a stab from a very low level Blackbeard. Treasonous attacks are dangerous even to high level people, that's why the marines are on edge, since they can't be sure who to trust anymore.

For me from the get go it didn't mean much because 1. Mihawk has never been shown as someone interested in the one piece so to get strung along is a pain in the ass for him 2. Mihawk and Croc are rightfully worried because their crew is way more fodder than anything the 3 other yonko have. So overall it doesn't actually tell us much about shanks and mihawk 1v1.

I feel like Buggy's speech puts into perspective the reality of Mihawk or Crocodile being the strongest; If Luffy became the new Pirate King with Zoro as his right hand, could Mihawk really claim to be the world's greatest swordsman without challenging the new Pirate King's right hand? As much as I want to see Cross Guild beat the BB pirates to Laugh Tale, I almost feel like they would symbolically be a better adversary once the One Piece is found.

If Luffy becomes Pirate King, Zoro would be remembered as King of Hell/Right hand man of PK/VC of the strawhats. I don't think he would be called a Strongest swordsman due to that. I mean even after gaining a Yonko title Shanks isn't considered on Mihawk level.
I think final war would be on Laughtale and Luffy, Shanks, Buggy, BB all would reach the One Piece but Luffy will be the one to claim it.
Zoro fight with Miahwk can't be before final war because that would mean Zoro would just one shot people here and there. After war won't make sense. So, it would need to happen in war.
Now as spoiler there are 8 God Knights and one of them looks like Shanks so I don't know what's going on.

My theory on Mihawk is that he used to have a pirate crew or at least be part of a crew. But somewhere along the line something happened and he got betrayed by his crewmates or by his captain, the people he trusted the most. And that caused him to not trust anyone else and so he sails alone

I think Mihawk wanted to be PK but he doesn’t have enough trust in people to help him get that far. So he settled for something that is still very impressive but a more lonely title with no one to share it with.

To become PK you need to gather a strong and talented crew, and normally you don't just stumble across those people like Luffy did.
