I have visited quite a few places in Washington state and really liked Ellensburg. We found people to be friendly there but have read reviews that were negative. Also, my youngest grandchild is bi racial, there have been times when we have been out and about and the vibe has felt a little odd. I’m so pleased that your experience in LB was positive!
