The cabin house you stayed in looks relaxing with a family of turkeys walking outside. The Bear Butte State Park is excellent too, with the beautiful scenery of the lake and mountain. The Theodore Roosevelt National Park has a breathtaking view of the badlands. Now I know where the teddy bear's name came from. That golf miniature outside your hotel looks fun too. I've been to many of those places in South Dakota, but never Bear Butte. That was beautiful! Nor have I been in western North Dakota, and their version of badlands. Wow. What a spectacular area! The colors in the rocks and vegetation are gorgeous! Good story about the teddy bear, as I knew most of it. Oh oh, if Mary knows there is miniature golf, she'll be there. She loves it! Thanks, you've given us inspiration to visit this area, and I'll really look forward to the next video!

We love Theodore Roosevelt National Park and the Black Hills of South Dakota. We have been to both many times. Both places are perfects stops for road trips! In Medora, there is a really nice ice cream shop in the little mall on the main road. We have stopped there a few times too! Great video! Have a good weekend. 😊
Yes they are both beautiful areas, like nothing we have ever seen before which we love! :) That ice cream place was closed, we wanted to go there! We went late in the season and some things were already closed for the season, we will just have to go back ;) Thanks for watching!
When we find our way to the Dakotas someday I absolutely have to stop at Theodore Roosevelt. There's a little bit of everything there. I love the fall foliage. Thanks for sharing :)

Wasn't it a cool lake, we loved how the butte reflected off the water! Yes, the Dakotas are amazing, and Montana is a feast for the eyes, can't wait till we get to that video! :) And the Teddy Bear history was so neat, I just had to share it! :)

Cool road trip segment. You went from seeing a bear butt to learning about a teddy bear! 😁👍 I'm happy to see the teddy bear didn't have a face diaper on. LOL. The Badlands are really neat. The rock formations and colors are pretty unique. That old west playground and the mini golf theme was pretty sweet. I'll bet that was a ton of fun for the kids. Great job on your video. It's soooo FLAT... Except when it's not. The Dakota's are a place pretty ripe for adventure. Pretty nifty to just see a deer walking around the parking lot. We get pretty excited when we see deer 🦌 too.
Yes it is so neat when driving and you go from flat.... to huge mountains!! The change in landscapes is one of the best parts of road tripping! :) Thanks for watching friends!

We always stay at a KOA...cheaper than hotels lol 😂. You say before we had a channel, but tbh it was a slower time and didn’t feel the need to view everything through a viewfinder...I think about what I’ve missed bc it wasn’t on a video but then also am thankful that I have the memories and can look back on them. That's awesome, this was our first time staying in a KOA. The staff at this one was top notch, really friendly! I was able to do laundry which was nice!!
